Claims (4)

  1. Vehicle window lift, comprising at least one guide rail (2,3) for movement of the glass (1) between slides (4,5), a glass-supporting slider (6) provided with a pin (7) capable of passing through a hole (8) in the glass, a member (13) capable of being interposed between the slider and the glass, in which there is provided an oblong hole (14) for the pin, this oblong hole being orientated in a substantially horizontal direction (X) when the window lift and the glass are assembled together, and means (22,24) preventing rotation of the member with the oblong hole, characterised in that it includes a fork member (9) designed to be able to be mounted on the pin on that side of the glass opposite that where the slider is present, and means for resiliently engaging the glass (1) are provided on the member (13), allowing the fork member (9) to be placed against the glass, the said oblong hole providing the glass with a degree of play in the horizontal direction with respect to the pin on each side of a median position.
  2. Window lift according to Claim 1, characterised in that the oblong hole (4) is of a length (1) greater than the diameter of a round hole (8) pierced in the glass (1) for the passage of the pin (7), and in that this oblong hole is bounded by two ramps (15) provided with flat faces (17,18) facing one another and passing through the round hole in the glass.
  3. Window lift according to Claim 2, characterised in that the fork member (9) is provided with teeth (11) for resilient snap engagement on the pin (7).
  4. Window lift according to Claim 1, characterised in that the said means are constituted by a least one elastic tongue (25) and preferably three spaced apart angularly in a regular manner, around the oblong hole (14) in the member (13) and capable of engaging resiliently against the glass (1) around the hole (8) in the latter.
