Room-partitioning wall consisting of wall elements (1) that can be moved by motor and each of which is suspended on two rolling carriages (2, 3) which can be moved in or on a ceiling rail (4) and one of which is formed as a coupling rolling carriage (2) and can be connected to a flexible traction element that extends along the ceiling rail and is driven by motor, characterised in that the traction element is a flexible drive belt (40) along which discrete stop locations (57) are formed, the spacing of which from each other in the longitudinal direction is somewhat greater than the width of a wall element (1) and which occupy different positions in the direction of the width of the drive belt, with stop elements (55; 67) of the coupling rolling carriages (2) being positioned in the latter in such a way that the stop element of the coupling rolling carriage (2) of a specific wall element (1) cooperates in a force-locking manner with each stop location.
  2. Room-partitioning wall according to claim 1, characterised in that the stop locations (57) of the drive belt (40) are formed as openings (57) or depressions and each slaving coupling (45) has a resilient or spring-loaded stop element (55; 67) for dropping into the stop location.
  3. Room-partitioning wall according to claim 2, characterised in that the spring action on the stop element (55; 67) is adjustable for the purpose of adjusting the maximum slaving force.
  4. Room-partitioning wall according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the stop locations are circular openings (57) in the drive belt (40), and the stop element is a stop sphere (55) upon which an adjustable spring (53) acts in the direction of the drive belt (40).
  5. Room-partitioning wall according to claim 4, characterised in that the slaving coupling (45) has a housing (47) with a slot for the drive belt (40) to slide through, and the rear end of the spring (53) that acts upon the stop sphere (55) is stayed on an adjusting screw (51).
  6. Room-partitioning wall according to claim 5, characterised in that the housing slot is formed between a housing body (47) and a housing cover (49) which is secured to the latter, with the stop sphere (55), which has dropped into its opening (57) of the drive belt (40), reaching the housing cover (49).
  7. Room-partitioning wall according to one or more of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the stop element is the stop pin (67) of a swivel housing (65) which seeks to hold a spring (75) in a central engaged position (Figure 8) and which, when a maximum slaving force is exceeded, can be swivelled into a disengaged swivelled position.
  8. Room-partitioning wall according to claim 7, characterised in that the swivel housing (65) is mounted between two bearing plates (61), to the front edges of which a support plate (71) for the drive belt (40) is secured, with the stop pin (67) sitting in a displaceable manner in a bore of the swivel housing, its front end acting upon the drive belt (40) and a weak pressure spring (69) acting upon its rear end.
  9. Room-partitioning wall according to claim 8, characterised in that the swivel axis (63) of the swivel housing (65) extends substantially through the centre of the latter and the rear end of said swivel housing (65) lies between the legs (77) of a strong helical leg spring (75) that seeks to hold the housing in the central engaged position.
  10. Room-partitioning wall according to claim 8 or 9, characterised by a recess (73) in the surface of the support plate (71) that points to the stop pin (67), which recess (73) determines the depth to which the stop pin (67) drops into the stop opening (57).
  11. Room-partitioning wall according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that the drive belt (40) runs onto a drum (42, 42') at both ends of its section and both drums can be driven.
  12. Room-partitioning wall according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised by at least one deflection wheel (59), which supports the drive belt (40), at ceiling rail curves, with the deflection wheel being at a sufficient distance from the course of the trajectory of the coupling rolling carriages (2) to enable the passage of the slaving coupling (45) of the coupling rolling carriages (2).
  13. Room-partitioning wall according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that each rolling carriage has two bearing rollers (21, 22) which lie side by side in the direction of travel and each of which rolls off on a bearing surface (24) formed in the ceiling rail, with the bearing surfaces (24) of the ceiling rail (3) having a convex surface and one (22) of the bearing rollers of each rolling carriage (2) having a concave running face that corresponds to the surface shape of the convex bearing surfaces.
  14. Room-partitioning wall according to claim 13, characterised in that the bearing surfaces (24) are formed by cylindrical bearing bars (24) that are made of steel and are let into the ceiling rail (3), and the concave running face of the associated bearing roller (22) is part of a toroidal surface.
