Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the production of support structures for roofing.
The known support structures for roofing are made up of a network of contrelattes and slats, in which the slats cross the contrelattes and are fixed thereon by various means. The placement of the slats requires prior manual tracing of the positions of the slats on the counterlocks in correct alignment corresponding to the desired spacing between the slats depending on the dimensions of the covering elements (tiles, slates or others). This usual procedure requires significant labor time on site because a common roof covering often requires around fifty tracings. In addition, the precision of the work is always random. On the other hand, the fixing of the slats on the counter-battens must be done with great care to avoid fragile places and ensure a solid structure.
The invention aims to overcome these drawbacks of the usual procedure and for this purpose it provides an improved cover support structure.
The support structure according to the invention comprises counter-laths which have notches extending over the entire width of the counter-laths and are distributed with a regular spacing between them. The corresponding notches of all the counter-laths are aligned parallel to the roof ridge line. The notches have a width corresponding to the width of the slats and a sufficient depth so that the slats, arranged perpendicular to the contrelattes, can be embedded over a certain depth in the notches of the contrelattes. Simple points are enough to complete the fixing of the slats to the counterlatters.
Thanks to the invention, the support structure can be produced with an appreciable saving of time by a simple and rapid installation which requires only one tracing. Alignment is performed automatically. In addition, the invention ensures optimum precision of the spacing of the slats. In addition, the embedding of the slats prevents them from slipping, thus ensuring the structure a great solidity which offers great security for the movement of workers on the roof during the works.
In addition to the speed of installation and the solidity of the structure produced according to the invention, this structure also has the advantage of being able to be produced with optimal positioning precision. This precision has the advantageous consequence of increasing the wind resistance for tiles with a fixed post because the lug of these tiles is then always in contact with the slats.
- la figure 1 est une vue en perspective illustrant une partie d'une structure de support de couverture de toiture suivant la technique connue;
- la figure 2 est une vue en perspective illustrant une structure de support conforme à l'invention;
- Figure 1 is a perspective view illustrating a part of a roof covering support structure according to the known technique;
- Figure 2 is a perspective view illustrating a support structure according to the invention;
- FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of part of the structure shown in FIG. 2.
Referring to Figure 1, there is illustrated a conventional support structure for roofing. A
The roof support structure according to the invention is illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3. On the
The
The establishment of the support structure according to the invention is simple and quick. The sub-roof being placed on the rafters of the roof structure, two
It will be noted that the support structure according to the invention can usefully not only serve as a support for roofing elements for roofing, but also for any cladding.
