Abstract

Ein Verfahren zur Unterdrückung des beim Übergang von Zug- auf Schubbetrieb auftretenden Ruckelns einer zum Antrieb eines Kraftfahrzeuges dienenden Brennkraftmaschine, bei welchem zur Dämpfung des Drehmomentabbaues zumindest ein Zylinder früher als die anderen Zylinder abgeschaltet wird, ist dadurch verbessert, daß gleichzeitig mit dem Abschalten des ersten Zylinders das Gemisch der anderen Zylinder um einen Wert angefettet wird, der in der Summe zusammen mit dem abdampfenden Kraftstoff-Wandfilm und der vom abgeschalteten Zylinder gepumpten Luft wieder ein stöchiometrisches oder leicht mageres Gemisch ergibt. Dadurch kann die Emission von HC und CO reduziert werden.
