Description

The invention relates to a window lifter for a motor vehicle of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 and resulting from DE 32 49 817 C2.

In the case of the frameless window pane known from this publication, which is located in a vehicle door, a sliding part is attached to the lower edge thereof, which has a sliding surface that runs obliquely to the window plane. When the window pane is shifted in height, this interacts with a guide part fixed to the door, whereby the window pane is pressed in the region of its closed position with a high contact force against a seal that is fixed to the vehicle body. However, the window lifter disclosed in this document has no device for the height adjustment of the window pane.

Furthermore, DE 37 27 153 A1 shows a window lifter, the guide element of which has a rotatably mounted eccentric. If necessary, the height of the window pane can be set via this. However, this is not pressed in the area of its closed position with increased contact pressure against the vehicle body-side seal.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a window lifter of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, through which the In its closed position, the window pane lies sealingly against the body-side seal, the height of the window pane also being adjustable.

To achieve the object, the features set out in claim 1 are provided.

Since, according to the invention, a height adjustment device consisting of a set screw is provided on the guide element of the window lifter and, moreover, the head of the set screw slides over an inclined surface provided on the guide rail, the window pane is pressed against a body-side seal in the region of its closed position with high contact pressure. In addition, the height of the window pane can be adjusted quickly and easily using the adjusting screw. The height adjustment device consists only of a screw with a ball head, while the inclined surface can be formed in a simple manner on an existing part or on a part specially provided for this purpose.

The inclined surface is expediently provided at the upper edge of the guide rail, a stop shoulder concave towards the set screw adjoining the inclined surface. This creates a height stop for the window lifter in a simple manner (features of claim 2).

Dieses hat hierfür zwei im Abstand voneinander liegende Vorsprünge (Merkmale des Patentanspruchs 3).The set screw is expediently screwed into a thread of the guide element running parallel to the guide rail. For this purpose, this has two projections spaced apart from one another (features of patent claim 3).

The inclined surface is expediently formed on a plastic part, which for this purpose is glued into an angular region provided at the upper end of the guide rail. The sloping surface runs from its free end to the concave contact shoulder in a wedge shape. The plastic part can be prefabricated inexpensively and attached in a simple manner (features of claim 4).

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is explained in the following. It shows:
Figure 1
a window regulator with two guide rails,
Figure 2
a side view of the upper end portion of a guide rail with guide element and adjusting screw in section in a larger view.

Wie ferner in Figur 2 ersichtlich, ist die Fensterscheibe 2 an ihrem unteren Rand durch eine Haltemutter 7 an jeweils einem Führungselement 4 festgeschraubt.FIG. 1 shows a window lifter 1 arranged in a vehicle door, not shown, which is used to move a frameless window pane 2 in the directions of the double arrow a. The window lifter 1 has two guide rails 3 which are spaced apart from one another, a guide element 4 being guided on each guide rail 3 so as to be longitudinally displaceable (directions of the double arrow a) by means of a cable 5 which is connected to it and is located in a guide sleeve. This is moved longitudinally by a manually or motor-operated device 6. As can also be seen in FIG. 2, the window pane 2 is screwed onto its lower edge by a retaining nut 7 on a respective guide element 4.

As FIG. 2 also shows, two, spaced apart projections 4 'protrude from each guide element 4, each of which is provided with an internal thread 8 running parallel to the longitudinal extension of the guide rail 3. A set screw 10 is screwed into this, which has a spherical head 10 'at its upper end area and a square 10''or similar contact surface at its lower end section. Finally, a lock nut 11 is screwed onto the set screw 10 and rests on the top of the guide element 4. Furthermore, an angular section 3 ′ protruding therefrom at right angles is provided at the upper end region of each guide rail 3, a plastic part 12 being fastened in each case by gluing or the like in the angular region formed by this. In this case, the plastic part 12 has an inclined surface 13 which is inclined towards a body-side seal (not shown) and thus forms an upward open acute angle with the plane of the window pane 2. This is followed by a stop shoulder 14 concave toward the adjusting screw 10. Finally, the guide element 4 has one to pass through the guide rail 3 through opening 16, wherein in order to compensate for the play between this and the guide rail 3 at the upper and lower end region of the guide element 4, a rubber part 17 is provided with a prestress on the guide rail 3.

By means of the adjusting screw 10 provided on each of the two guide elements 4, the height of the window pane 2 can be adjusted on its opposite side edges by rotating them. Furthermore, the spherical head 10 'of the set screw 10 interacts with the inclined surface 13 of the plastic part 12 in such a way that the window pane 2 in its closed position shown in FIG. 2 is pressed with high contact pressure against a seal located on a vehicle body or on a convertible top. Finally, in the height-related end position of the window pane 2, the ball head 10 ′ of the set screw 10 lies against the concave stop shoulder 14 of the plastic part 12. The set screw 10 provided on each guide element 4 thus fulfills a double function, namely serves on the one hand to adjust the height of the window pane 2 and on the other hand when interacting with the inclined surface 13 of the plastic part 12 for pressing the upper edge of the window pane 2 onto the body-side seal.
