Abstract

Selbstklebeetikett zur Etikettierung von zylindrischen oder prismatischen Behältnissen mit mindestens einem abtrennbaren Abschnitt (2) und einem an dem dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt (2) entgegengesetzten Ende vorgesehenen Bereich (3), der eine klebstoffabweisende Glattschicht aufweist. Um die Ablösung des abtrennbaren Abschnitts zu erleichtern ist das Selbstklebeetikett am Rand des die klebstoffabweisende Glattschicht aufweisenden Bereiches (3) mit einem Einschnitt (8) versehen. <IMAGE>

Description

  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Selbstklebeetikett zur Etikettierung von zylindrischen oder prismatischen Behältnissen mit mindestens einem abtrennbaren Abschnitt und einem an dem dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt entgegengesetzten Ende vorgesehen Bereich, der eine klebstoffabweisende Glattschicht aufweist.
  • Ein Etikett dieser Art ist aus der EP-A-0 463 193 bekannt. Das bekannte Etikett wird um ein zylindrisches oder prismatisches Behältnis geschlagen, derart, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt den Bereich überlappt, der die klebstoffabweisende Glattschicht aufweist. Infolge der unter dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt liegenden Glattschicht verbindet sich der abtrennbare Abschnitt nicht fest mit seinem Untergrund und kann daher unter Beibehaltung seiner Selbstklebeeigenschaften leicht abgelöst und an einem anderen Ort als Selbstklebeetikett verwendet werden. Wenngleich der abtrennbare Abschnitt sich nicht dauerhaft fest mit dem darunter liegenden Glattschichtbereich verbindet, besteht dennoch ein Problem darin, eine Ecke oder eine Kante des abtrennbaren Abschnitts von der darunterliegenden Glattschicht abzuschälen. Bei dem erwähnten bekannten Etikett ist daher vorgesehen, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt einen klebstofffreien Bereich aufweist, der als Ablösehilfe dient. An einem solchen freien Bereich kann der abtrennbare Abschnitt gegriffen und leicht von der darunterliegenden Glattschicht abgezogen werden. Zur Herstellung der Ablösehilfe muß jedoch in einem gesonderten Druckvorgang das Etikett von seiner klebstoffbeschichteten Seite her bedruckt werden, um die Wirkung des Klebstoffs zur Schaffung der Ablösehilfe an den betroffenen Stellen auszuschalten. Die Herstellung des bekannten Etiketts ist daher aufwendig.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Selbstklebeetikett der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, das sich durch verringerten Herstellungsaufwand auszeichnet.
  • Diese Aufgabe ist dadurch gelöst, daß das Etikett am Rand des die klebstoffabweisende Glattschicht aufweisenden Bereichs einen Einschnitt aufweist.
  • Die Lage des Einschnitts wird so dimensioniert, daß die Außenkante des abtrennbaren Abschnitts bei Etikettierung eines Behältnisses auf den Einschnitt gelangt, so daß eine kleine Ecke des abtrennbaren Abschnitts über den Einschnitt ragt und somit keinen Kontakt zum Untergrund erhält, sondern gewissermaßen frei in der Luft steht. An dieser in den Einschnitt hineinragenden Ecke des abtrennbaren Abschnitts kann dieser leicht gegriffen und abgezogen werden. Die Herstellung des Einschnitts findet bei der üblichen Etikettenstanzung statt und erfordert daher keinen zusätzlichen Arbeitsschritt.
  • Nach einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist der Einschnitt dreiecksförmig. Ein solcher Einschnitt kann besonders leicht hergestellt werden und erfüllt seinen Zweck vorzüglich, da sich für den Teil des in den Einschnitt hineinragenden abtrennbaren Abschnitts wiederum eine Dreiecksform ergibt, die sich besonders zum Anfassen des abtrennbaren Abschnitts eignet.
  • Vorzugsweise liegt der Einschnitt in der Nähe der Grenzlinie zwischen dem Glattschichtbereich und dem Mittelteil, also dort wo bei Etikettierung des Behältnisses die Außenkante des abtrennbaren Abschnitts liegt.
  • Um ein ungewolltes Ablösen des abtrennbaren Abschnitts zu vermeiden, ist die Außenkante des abtrennbaren Abschnitts, die bei Applizierung des Etiketts auf den Einschnitt gelangt, etwas zurückversetzt.
  • Die Herstellung des Selbstklebeetiketts nach der Erfindung ist besonders kostengünstig, da es nur aus einer einzigen selbstklebenden Etikettenlage besteht.
  • Nach einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsform der Erfindung besteht die Glattschicht aus einer Silikonlackierung, die vorzugsweise durch Drucken aufgebracht ist.
  • Nach einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung ist vorgesehen, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt eine Perforierung aufweist. Diese kann vorteilhafterweise im Zuge des Stanzvorganges hergestellt werden, der ohnehin bei der Etikettenherstellung vorgesehen ist.
  • Vorzugsweise weist das Etikett eine Breite auf, die größer als der Umfang des Behältnisses ist und überlappt sich folglich bei Applizierung auf das Behältnis mit sich selbst. Durch diese Maßnahme ist sichergestellt, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt auf den Bereich zu liegen kommt, der mit einer klebstoffabweisenden Glattschicht versehen ist.
  • Wenn nach einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausführungsform der Abstand zwischen dem innenliegenden Rand des abtrennbaren Abschnitts und der Außenkante des entgegengesetzten Endes des Etiketts größer als der Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behältnisses ist, ist sichergestellt, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt, der ebenso wie das übrige Etikett eine Klebstoffbeschichtung aufweist, nicht in direkte Berührung mit dem zu etikettierenden Behältnis kommt und folglich ein leichtes Ablösen des abtrennbaren Abschnitts möglich ist.
  • Nach einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausführungsform ist vorgesehen, daß der Abstand zwischen dem innenliegenden Rand des die Glattschicht aufweisenden Bereichs bis zur Außenkante des abtrennbaren Abschnitts kleiner als der Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behältnisses ist. Hierdurch ist sichergestellt, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt nicht auf Teile des Etiketts gelangt, die keine klebstoffabweisende Glattschicht haben. Vielmehr ist gewährleistet, daß das Ende des abtrennbaren Abschnitts in ausreichendem Abstand zu dem Bereich des Etiketts liegt, der nicht mit der klebstoffabweisenden Glattschicht versehen ist.
  • Besonders vorteilhaft ist, wenn der Abstand zwischen der Außenkante des abtrennbaren Abschnitts bis zur Mitte des Einschnitts etwa gleich dem Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behältnisses ist, denn dann liegt nach der Etikettierung des Behältnisses die Außenkante des abtrennbaren Abschnitts über der Mitte des Einschnitts und kann leicht gegriffen werden.
  • Die Erfindung wird im folgenden an Hand des in den Figuren 1 und 2 schematisch dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

  • In Figur 1 ist mit dem Bezugszeichen 1 das Selbstklebeetikett als ganzes bezeichnet. Das Selbstklebeetikett ist in groben Umrissen rechteckig und weist einen Mittenbereich 10 und einen Endbereich 3 auf, der mit einem klebstoffabweisenden Lack bedruckt ist. Dieser ist durch eine Schrägschraffierung mit abwechselnd dünnen und dicken Strichen angedeutet. Unterhalb der klebstoffabweisenden Glattschicht des Bereichs 3 kann ein Aufdruck vorgesehen sein (in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellt).
  • Der Mittenbereich 10 des Selbstklebeetiketts 1 enthält üblicherweise mehrere Aufdrucke, die Aufschluß über die Herstellung und den Inhalt des etikettierten Behältnisses geben. Der Mittenbereich 10 und der abtrennbare Abschnitt 2 sind nicht mit einer Glattschicht überzogen und können daher in jeder Phase der Verwendung des Etiketts mit jedem beliebigen Drucker bedruckt werden. An dem Ende, das dem die Glattschicht aufweisenden Bereich gegenüberliegt, ist die Etikettenbahn mit einer Perforation 6 versehen. Der Abschnitt des Etiketts, der zwischen der Perforation 6 und der Außenkante 4 des Etiketts liegt, weist eine gegenüber dem übrigen Etikett etwas geringere Höhe h auf. Dieser Abschnitt, der in der Zeichnung punktiert ist, kann durch Einreißen der Perforation 6 abgetrennt werden.
  • An der oben liegenden Außenkante des mit der Glattschicht versehenen Bereichs 3 ist ein etwa dreieckförmiger Einschnitt 8 vorgesehen. Der Einschnitt 8 am oberen Rand des klebstoffabweisenden Bereichs 3 liegt in der Nähe der Grenzlinie 7 zwischen dem klebstoffabweisenden Bereich 3 und dem Mittenbereich 10 des Etiketts 1.
  • Zur Herstellung des in Figur 1 gezeigten Etiketts wird eine selbstklebende Obermaterialbahn mit einer silikonisierten Trägerfolie (nicht gezeigt) zusammenlaminiert. Nach dem üblichen Bedrucken wird die Obermaterialbahn mit einem klebstoffabweisenden Silikonlack jeweils ausschließlich in dem Bereich 3 bedruckt. Danach durchläuft das Laminat eine Stanzeinrichtung, bei der der in Figur 1 gezeigte Umriß aus der Obermaterialbahn ausgestanzt wird. Gleichzeitig wird in der Stanzeinrichtung die Perforationsstanzung 6 angebracht. Der das Etikett umgebende Bereich der Obermaterialbahn wird in Form eines Gitters abgezogen. Die auf diese Weise hergestellten Selbstklebeetiketten stehen auf der Trägerfolie (nicht dargestellt) zur maschinellen Verarbeitung zur Verfügung.
  • Hierzu wird die Trägerfolie über eine Spendelippe gezogen, wobei sich die Selbstklebeetiketten 1 von der Trägerfolie abheben, von einer Andrückwalze gegriffen und maschinell auf ein Behältnis aufetikettiert werden. Bei diesem Vorgang erhält das Selbstklebeetikett 1 Stempelaufdrucke mit der Chargennummer. Das Selbstklebeetikett gelangt zuerst mit dem die Glattschicht aufweisenden Bereich 3 auf das Behältnis, wobei der an seiner Rückseite freiliegende Klebstoff sofort für eine Verbindung zwischen dem Behältnis und dem Selbstklebeetikett sorgt. Unter Drehung des Behältnisses wird das Selbstklebeetikett 1 um das Behaltnis gelegt. Da es in der Förderrichtung länger als der Umfang des Behältnisses ist, gelangt der abtrennbare Abschnitt 2 auf den klebstoffabweisenden Bereich 3.
  • Die räumliche gegenseitige Anordnung der verschiedenen Etikettenbereiche ist an Hand der Figur 2 veranschaulicht, die ein zu einem Zylinder zusammengelegtes Etikett zeigt, so wie das Etikett um ein Behältnis geschlagen ist. Aus Gründen der Übersichtlichkeit der Darstellung ist jedoch in Figur 2 das Behältnis selbst nicht gezeigt.
  • Wie aus Figur 2 zu erkennen ist, liegt der abtrennbare Abschnitt 2 auf dem klebstoffabweisenden Bereich 3. Der abtrennbare Abschnitt 2 haftet daher mit seiner auf der Rückseite liegenden Klebstoffschicht nur leicht auf dem Bereich 3, so daß er in seiner Gesamtheit nicht von dem Behältnis absteht. Die in der Zeichnung oben liegende Ecke 9 des abtrennbaren Abschnitts 2 ragt jedoch in den Einschnitt 8 hinein, so daß diese vorstehende Ecke 9 keine Verbindung mit ihrem Untergrund erfährt. Da die Höhe h des abtrennbaren Abschnitts 2 etwas kleiner als die Höhe H des übrigen Etiketts ist, ist die freistehende Ecke 9 etwas gegenüber dem oberen Rand zurückversetzt. Dadurch wird vermieden, daß die freistehende Ecke ungewollt, etwa durch Hängenbleiben an einem anderen Gegenstand, abgehoben wird. Diese Ecke 9 kann somit leicht gegriffen und ausgehend von dieser Ecke kann schließlich der gesamte abtrennbare Abschnitt 2 längs der Perforation 6 abgetrennt werden.
  • Auf diesem abtrennbaren Abschnitt 2 sind in der Regel alle wichtigen Informationen über den Inhalt des Behältnisses ebenso wie die Chargennummer enthalten, so daß diese Informationen - gewissermaßen mit einem Handgriff - an einem anderen Ort, wie beispielsweise einer Injektionsspritze mittels seiner Selbstklebeschicht befestigt werden kann.
  • Der Abstand c zwischen der Kante 5, d.h. der Kante, an der der klebstoffabweisende Bereich 3 liegt, und der Perforationslinie 6 ist größer als der Umfang des Behältnisses, während der Abstand b zwischen der Grenzlinie 7 und der Außenkante 4 des abtrennbaren Abschnitt kleiner als der Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behaltnisses ist. Die Gesamtlänge a liegt zwischen dem einfachen und dem doppelten Behältnisumfang. Der Abstand d von der Mitte des Einschnitts 8 bis zu äußeren Kante 4 des abtrennbaren Abschnitts 2 ist gleich dem Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behältnisses.

Claims (13)

  1. Selbstklebeetikett zur Etikettierung von zylindrischen oder prismatischen Behältnissen mit mindestens einem abtrennbaren Abschnitt (2) und einem an dem dem abtrennbaren Abschnitt (2) entgegengesetzten Ende vorgesehenen Bereich (3), der eine klebstoffabweisende Glattschicht aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es am Rand des die klebstoffabweisende Glattschicht aufweisenden Bereiches (3) einen Einschnitt (8) aufweist.
  2. Selbstklebeetikett nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Einschnitt (8) dreiecksförmig ist.
  3. Selbstklebeetikett nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, daß der Einschnitt (8) in der Nähe der Grenzlinie (7) zwischen dem Bereich (3) und dem Mittelteil (10) des Etiketts liegt.
  4. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Höhe (h) des abtrennbaren Abschnitts (2) etwas kleiner als die Höhe (H) des übrigen Teils des Selbstklebeetiketts (1) ist.
  5. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus einer einzigen selbstklebenden Etikettenlage besteht.
  6. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Glattschicht aus einer Silikonlackierung besteht.
  7. Selbstklebeetikett nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Silikonlackierung durch Drucken aufgebracht ist.
  8. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der abtrennbare Abschnitt (2) eine Perforierung (6) aufweist.
  9. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es von der Außenkante (4) des abtrennbaren Abschnitts (2) bis zur Außenkante (5) des die Glattschicht aufweisenden Bereichs (3) eine Breite (a) hat, die größer als der einfache und kleiner als der zweifache Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behältnisses ist.
  10. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand (c) zwischen dem innenliegenden Rand (6) des abtrennbaren Abschnitts (2) und der Außenkante (5) des entgegengesetzten Endes des Etiketts (1) größer als der Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behältnisses ist.
  11. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand (b) zwischen dem innenliegenden Rand (7) des die Glattschicht aufweisenden Bereichs (3) und der Außenkante (4) des abtrennbaren Abschnitts (2a, 2b) kleiner als der Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behältnisses ist.
  12. Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abstand (d) zwischen der Mitte des Einschnitts (8) und der Außenkante (4) des abtrennbaren Abschnitts (2) etwa gleich dem Umfang des zu etikettierenden Behältnisses ist.
  13. Zylindrisches oder prismatisches Behältnis mit einem Selbstklebeetikett nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12.
