Definitions
- the invention relates to a hearing test device and a Method for operating this hearing test device or a Procedures for testing and hearing people Selection of one individually tailored to the patient Hearing aid.
- FR 2 664 494 A1 is one Hearing test device known, by means of on a Sound storage device stored sound events over a speaker can be called up.
- the degree of Recognize the different sound events (curve b in Fig. 2) is used by an examiner for different hearing aids or for a hearing aid with various settings recorded. In this way is achieved through collaboration between patient and examining person a correspondingly individual adapted hearing aid selected.
- the disadvantage here is that the investigation only with the constant participation of be carried out in accordance with trained specialist personnel can. Because of the high personnel costs, this becomes more expensive Examination procedure accordingly.
- WO 90/09760 a computer controlled device for Customize hearing aids known.
- the patient's ear will with differently selected by the computer Frequencies are applied and the frequency response different setting parameters for the hearing aid to be adjusted derived.
- the determined parameters are either computer controlled or by an operator in the adapted hearing aid.
- a hearing test device according to the Grip of claim 1 known.
- This Hearing test device can be different sound or Retrieve sound events from a sound storage device and make it audible via a loudspeaker device.
- a control and operating device can acoustic operating parameters of a hearing aid as long be varied until one is optimal for the patient matched hearing aid is found.
- the patient can different acoustic parameters in one Operator defined limits vary in order to to find the most suitable hearing aid for him.
- WO 87/07464 it is the object of the present Invention a device for testing hearing of a patient and to choose one individually to provide customized hearing aids that are less cost-intensive use allowed and a hearing aid leads, according to the subjective feeling of the patient provides an optimal and natural sound impression. It is a further object of the invention accordingly adapted procedure for testing the hearing of a Patients and to select an individually adapted or to provide coordinated hearing aids.
- a hearing test device provided with the different sound or Sound events from a sound storage device available and audible through a loudspeaker system can be made.
- a tax and Operating device can the acoustic operating parameters of a hearing aid can be varied as long as to a hearing aid that is optimally tailored to the patient is found.
- the patient can do the different acoustic parameters such as frequency response, amplification, Output sound pressure level and also type of amplifier circuit choose freely within certain limits to thus the most suitable hearing aid for him without outside help Find.
- the Patient from the sound storage device different him retrieve known sounds or sound events, which then sound through the speakers.
- a certain sound event Meaning either in the form of an announcement or in Form of a pictorial representation from the sound storage device retrieved and displayed in a display device.
- a certain sound event e.g. B. the rustle of leaves in the wind with the currently set Hearing aid parameters may or may not sound natural.
- the sound event is a spoken text
- this spoken text is displayed on the display device.
- this spoken text becomes the sound event itself and the associated meaning in the form of a text, a graphic representation, etc. stored in the sound storage device.
- any sound events can be selected and the The patient or a caregiver does not need to be assigned of acoustically occurring sound event and the displays take care of the associated meaning.
- the Acoustic events can often be repeated arbitrarily.
- the Standard shell of the hearing aid has an elastic sleeve that is replaceable for hygienic reasons. So that can the same standard shells for different people be used.
- this case is a tubular or double-tubular casing into which a fluid, in particular air, can be filled, so that the hearing aid then optimally the ear canal of the respective Patient is adapted.
- a fluid in particular air
- any hearing aid or hearing amplifier can be used as a hearing aid be used.
- the hearing aid is preferably on a carrying device, for example attached to a stetho clip.
- the control and operation of the hearing aid can be via a hearing aid and the cable connecting the control and operating device or also by means of infrared rays or the like respectively.
- FIG. 1 schematically shows an exemplary embodiment the hearing test device according to the present invention.
- the hearing test device shown in Fig. 1 consists of a central operating and control device 2, the with a sound storage device 4, one Display device 6, a loudspeaker device consisting of two speakers 8 and 9 and with a test hearing aid 10 is connected.
- the test device 10 comprises a stetho clip 12 to which a hearing aid module 11 is attached is.
- the hearing aid module 11 is via a standard tube 14 connected to a standard shell 16, which in the The patient's ear canal is inserted.
- the standard shell 16 is of a double tube-shaped, elastic Envelope 18 surrounded by skin-friendly material.
- Different amplifier circuits can be used with the hearing aid module 11 such as AGCI, AGCO, PC, kAMP circuits etc. represent or realize.
- the electronics that make these different Realized amplifier types can either in the hearing aid module 11 itself or externally, for example housed in the control and operating device be.
- the patient or user of the hearing test device receives the Stetho-Clip with hearing aid module 11.
- Die Standard shell 14 of the hearing aid 10 with the sheath 16 inserted into the ear canal and through a valve (not shown) air is blown into the envelope 18 in the envelope 18, so that the sheath 18 closely to the ear canal Hugs patient. This way the ear canal sealed and feedback is avoided.
- the user can then automatically operate the and control device 2 different operating parameters adjust the test hearing aids, d. H. for example, he can the gain in 5 to 10 dB steps in the range change from 15 to 60 dB and it can change the frequency response in a range from 100 to 6000 Hz (with broadband Listeners in the range vary between 20 and 20,000 Hz), where both broadband transmission as well Selective transmission of various narrow frequency ranges is possible.
- the patient is able to test the hearing aid itself the sound storage device 4 different known to him Get noises or sound events, their meaning or visual representation in the display device 6 shown and simultaneously through speakers 8 and 9 is broadcast acoustically. Because of the visual display or representation of the sounding product in the display device 6, the patient knows exactly which sound event is currently sounding and sounding and he thus also knows how such a sound event, such as. B. the rustling of leaves should sound in the wind. He can hence the various operating parameters of the test device change until he is one according to his subjective Feel optimal and natural sound impression feels.
- the patient has an optimal one for his needs Hearing aid found, this can be directly on site the patient's individual auditory canal is adapted, in which the air from the double-tubular casing 18 let out and instead a fast curing Plastic mass is filled.
- a fast curing Plastic mass is filled.
- Two are preferably used for the loudspeaker devices or several loudspeakers arranged spatially separated also used to monitor the patient's directional hearing test or to select an optimal hearing aid for this can. It is of course also possible that the different sound events generated using headphones will.
- both analog Sound storage such as tapes etc. can be used as well digital memories such as CDs or PCMCIA memory cards.
- the control and operating device can especially a standard PC with accordingly configured peripheral devices.
- the peripheral devices would in particular be a so-called sound card include, with the digitally stored sound events in corresponding analog electrical signals converted can be, which then in the speaker device as Sound.
- the use of a PC as a control and operating device also has the advantage that simple way, namely by software different Test programs can be run. For such Test programs, it is also possible to learn neuronal To use networks that are automatically connected to the respective Adjust patients.
