Claims (9)
- Procédé pour la reproduction sonore multicanal où les signaux sonores sont enregistrés sur plusieurs canaux avec orientation sur la source et où ces signaux sonores à canaux multiples sont traités, avant leur diffusion, par matriçage et sommation avant d'être répartis en canaux de reproduction frontaux et surround et, optionnellement, aussi en un canal sous-basse, caractérisé en ce que, après la répartition des signaux sonores en au moins trois canaux de reproduction frontaux et deux canaux de reproduction surround, des signaux partiels sont extraits de chacun de ces signaux sonores, lesdits signaux partiels étant traités de façon différente en fonction de leur assignation de direction et totalisés avec un temps de propagation agrandi, un niveau réduit et une position de phase au moins partiellement changée en l'un des au moins cinq signaux sonores non traités, de sorte qu'il existe des signaux partiels traités de façon différente et un signal sonore non traité dans chaque signal sommatoire et que l'assignation de direction des signaux sommatoires, même après d'autres répartitions et sommations similaires, aux canaux des trois haut-parleurs frontaux et des deux haut-parleurs surround disposés à plusieurs emplacements différents dans l'espace ainsi que, le cas échéant, d'autres haut-parleurs de reproduction, soit effectuée conformément aux orientations des signaux sonores non traités.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les autres haut-parleurs de reproduction additionnellement répartis dans l'espace et prévus de préférence pour les signaux surround sont alimentés par d'autres signaux formés chacun en tant que somme se composant des signaux partiels extraits des signaux sonores non traités et traités de façon différente en fonction de leur temps de propagation, leur niveau et leur phase, d'une part, et d'un signal sonore non traité, d'autre part, et en ce que les changements de l'amplitude et du temps de propagation sont choisis conformément à la distance entre chaque haut-parleur de reproduction supplémentaire et l'emplacement des trois premiers haut-parleurs frontaux et des deux premiers haut-parleurs surround et la zone de couverture assignée auxdits haut-parleurs surround supplémentaires.

- Dispositif pour la reproduction sonore multicanal avec plusieurs raccordements d'entrée pour au moins trois canaux de reproduction frontaux et deux canaux de reproduction surround où chaque entrée est connectée, par l'intermédiaire d'un étage d'entrée, au raccordement d'entrée correspondant d'une matrice d'entrée (EM), caractérisé en ce que les sorties de la matrice d'entrée (EM), d'une part, sont appliquées à un même nombre de raccordements d'entrée d'une unité fonctionnelle (FD) pour la correction différente, effectuée séparément dans chaque cas, dès signaux introduits en ce qui concerne leur temps de propagation, leur niveau et, le cas échéant, leur phase à chaque sortie de cette unité fonctionnelle (FD) et, d'autre part, sont reliées aux premières entrées d'une unité sommatoire (SE) dont les secondes ou autres entrées sont reliées aux sorties de l'unité fonctionnelle (FD), et en ce que les signaux sommatoires, se composant chacun d'un signal d'entrée non changé à l'étage d'entrée (E) et de signaux, traités de façon différente, d'autres signaux d'entrée, se trouvent, conformément à l'assignation des signaux d'entrée non traités, aux sorties d'une matrice de sortie (AM) pour au moins trois canaux de reproduction frontaux et deux canaux de reproduction surround et, le cas échéant, d'autres haut-parleurs de reproduction.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce qu'en amont de la matrice d'entrée (EM), est disposée une autre matrice de convertissement (KM) qui répartit les signaux sonores provenant d'enregistrements ou de transmissions avec moins de cinq canaux sonores, notamment de techniques monophoniques ou stéréophoniques surround à 2, 3, 4 ou 5/2 canaux, en cinq étages d'entrée au moins de la matrice d'entrée (EM).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce qu'en amont de la matrice d'entrée (EM) et en cas d'absence d'un canal de transmission ou d'enregistrement sous-basse séparé, est disposée une unité de filtrage multicanal qui contient des filtres passe-bas (TP) et un étage de sommation et filtre et totalise les quotes-parts sonores les plus graves des canaux sonores existants avant de les assigner à un canal de reproduction sous-basse séparé à la sortie duquel sont reliés des haut-parleurs de type subwoofer.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que l'unité fonctionnelle (FD) est munie d'un dispositif d'entrée (EA) pour l'introduction des conditions spatiales du dispositif de reproduction conformément à la position de chaque haut-parleur et aux paramètres désirés pour les rapports de volume des haut-parleurs frontaux et surround.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'entrée (EA) comporte une unité d'affichage qui montre les entrées et les paramètres à modifier par rapport à la correction du temps de propagation, du niveau, du degré de corrélation, etc.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'entrée (EA) est prévu pour d'autres paramètres des signaux sonores à influencer et donc relié aux unités (KM, FE, SE, EM) qui influencent les voies des signaux sonores par leurs éléments de traitement, y compris les valeurs des paramètres nécessaires issues des paramètres spatiaux introduits et des choix individuels.
