Abstract

Zur Herstellung einer hülsenförmigen Druckform aus einem metallischen Werkstoff für einen Formzylinder einer Druckmaschine wird ein plattenförmiger, mit einer Registereinrichtung versehener Zuschnitt 1 mit einem dem Formzylinder entsprechender Breite und einem in der Länge grobem mit größerem als das für eine Druckform vorgegebene Maß zugeschnitten und gleichzeitig im Bereich der zu verschweißenden Plattenkanten außerhalb des Druckbereichs mit der Registereinrichtung versehen. Der Zuschnitt 1 wird im registergerechten gerundeten Zustand in der Schweißvorrichtung mittels des Laserstrahls 6 a, 6 b als Schneidgerät maßhaltig abgelängt, so daß zwei Abfallstücke 7 a, 7 b entstehen. Eine durch ein gattungsbildendes Verfahren hergestellte Offset-Druckform-Hülse ist bereits in der älteren deutschen Patentanmeldung P41 40 768 offenbart. Dazu wird eine Platte sowohl auf das dem Umfang als auch auf das der Breite des Formzylinders entsprechende Maß zugeschnitten und mit einer Registereinrichtung in Form eines Paßloch-Systems mittels einer Plattenstanze versehen. Der maßhaltige Zuschnitt, der genau abgelängt sein muß, erfolgt mittels einer speziellen Blechschere und wird danach registerhaltig in Form einer Hülse in eine Schweißvorrichtung eingespannt.
