Abstract

The invention relates to linen 1 for beds, sitting and/or lying furniture, in particular a bed or cushion cover, composed of a patterned and/or printable natural-, synthetic- or mixed-fibre single fabric of warp and weft threads. In order to have in particular variably usable linen, the latter is designed as reversible linen usable on both sides. Either the left-hand or the right-hand single-fabric side is designed for summer or winter use, the single-fabric side 4 for winter use containing at least 50% of roughened weft and/or warp threads and the single-fabric side 3 for summer use containing at least 50% of smooth weft and/or warp threads. <IMAGE>

Dabei erstreckt sich die eine Gewebeseite bis hin zum innenliegenden Reißverschluß und übergreift mithin den Stoffteil des Reißverschlusses, so daß im geschlossenen Zustand die untere andersartige Gewebeseite nicht mehr erkennbar ist. Nach Umstülpen des Kissenbezuges ist der Reißverschluß außen an der Einfüllstirnkante gelegen, wobei der Stehsaum im Inneren des Bezuges gelegen ist. Das in der Zeichnung allgemein mit 1 bezifferte Wäschestück ist in dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel als Bett- oder Kissenbezug ausgebildet und besteht aus einem Einfachmischgewebe aus Kett- und Schußfäden und ist mit einer Musterung 2 versehen. Das Einfachgewebe soll aus einem jaquardgemusterten Baumwoll- oder Baumwollmischgewebe bestehen, wobei auf der einen Seite des Gewebes die Schußfäden und auf der anderen Seite die Kettfäden von der Wahl bzw. Fläche her dominieren. Außerhalb der Musterung 2 ist das Gewebe bevorzugtermaßen in einer 1/4-Atlasbindung gebunden. Bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel sollen die Kettfäden aus einem Polyestermaterial bestehen mit einer Garnnumerierung von etwa Nm 67 (150 Dtex) und einer Kettdichte von etwa 45 Faden/cm. Der Reißverschluß 5 ist von einem Stehsaum 6 abdeckbar, wobei sich die glatte Gewebeseite 3 bis hin zum Reißverschluß erstreckt, so daß der Stehsaum 6 in dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel bei der Sommernutzung jeweils von außen her wie die glatte Gewebebahnseite 3 ausgebildet ist. Item of linen for beds, seating and/or reclining furniture, particularly bed or cushion covers consisting of a patterned and/or printable natural chemical or mixed fibre simple woven structure consisting of warp and weft threads, with single-weave sides for summer or winter use, the single weave side for winter use having roughened threads while the single-weave side for summer use has smooth threads, characterised in that the linen item is constructed as a pull-through reversible linen item, whereby the single-weave side for winter use comprises at least 50% roughened warp and/or weft threads while the single-weave side for summer use comprises at least 50% smooth warp and/or weft threads and whereby the single-weave side (4) for winter use has roughened warp or weft threads having a thread thickness Nm 10 to 50 and a thread density of 10 to 45/cm and the single-weave side (3) for summer use has smooth warp and weft threads with a thread thickness of Nm 10 to 80 and a thread density of 10 to 66/cm.

4. A linen item according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the surfaces of the woven structure, outside the patterning (2) are bound in an atlas bind (1/4 bind) and the patterned areas of the patterning (2) are bound in a 1/1, 1/3 to 1/7 bind.

A linen item according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that it is constructed as a bed or cushion cover with at least two single-weave webs stitched securely to each other to bound a filling space adapted to be filled with a cushion through a filling aperture, the filling aperture being adapted to be closed by at least one interior closure element (5) which can be covered by an inclined strip or a stand-up hem (6).
6. A linen item according to Claim 5, characterised in that the closure element (5) is constructed as an interior sliding clasp fastener.
7. A linen item according to Claim 5 or 6, characterised in that the linen item has on each long side a stand-up hem (7).
