According to a process for carrying out civil engineering works in the area of the sole (4) of an existing waste dump, passable shafts (1, 2) designed as mutually spaced, cased large hole borings are sunk down to the waste dump sole (4). At the level of the waste dump sole (4) the shafts (1, 2) are interconnected by a passable tunnel (5), forming a continuous working room. A sufficiently large working room is thus simply created above the waste dump sole (4) for carrying out sanitation works.

Description

The invention relates to a method for performing Construction work on the bottom of an existing landfill.

This is often the case with landfills for garbage and other waste Problem that the existing facilities for the version of Leachate and gas no longer meet the requirements or have become unusable and therefore a renewal need. There are also problems with the tightness of the Landfill base because this is the current state of the requirements a basic seal is not enough or because it has become damaged due to location-related influences. Do you want the mentioned drainage and sealing devices renovate, it is often inevitable that construction work must be carried out on the bottom of the landfill. To do this allow, it is necessary to dump the garbage of a landfill to penetrate with the help of shaft structures, which depending on Height of the garbage body can reach depths of up to 30 m. The production of such shaft structures in conventional Pit construction is extremely complex and with a number of other disadvantages.

From the magazine "Rubbish and Waste", issue 1/1988, pages 1 to 6 is a procedure for sinking an auxiliary shaft for carrying out renovation work on the drainage known a landfill. In this procedure, Advance excavation of a shaft section using a gripper and straighten the shaft wall by hand from liner plates compound feed gradually from top to bottom installed below. The liner plates consist of a curved, corrugated sheet of approximately 50 cm in height and are used in the screwed overlapping vertical joints. In the horizontal joints are arranged in the trough flanges. This method is very time consuming as it is mostly hand made required.

Darüberhinaus eignet sich das bekannte Verfahren nur für Gruben von vergleichsweise geringer Tiefe.GB-A-667 988 describes a process for the production of Construction pits known for the laying of pipes, in which excavation pits are dug next to each other, the one on the sole to a continuous work space with each other get connected. To manufacture the construction pits is a cross section of an existing sheet of metal Rectangular, open bottom and top lining on the floor put on and by dredging the soil within the Feed the pit made, which if necessary additionally weighted feed according to progression of the excavation sinks into the pit on its own. The known The method is not suitable for landfills because of its composition of the landfill body to the penetration of the feed opposed high resistances. It is also suitable the known method only for pits by comparison shallow depth.

The invention has for its object a method for Implementation of construction work in the area of a sole to indicate an existing landfill that is easy to carry out and by a low effort and a high degree of Occupational safety distinguishes.

This object is achieved in that in a distance from each other several accessible shafts as cased large holes through the landfill body of the Landfill down to the bottom of the landfill that the Sinking the shafts close to the bottom of the landfill mechanically and directly above the bottom of the landfill manually is carried out and that the shafts at the level of the landfill bottom through a walkable tunnel to a continuous one Work space to be connected, the walls of which are supported by means of inserted support elements.

According to the method of the invention, comparatively small-volume shafts through tunnel sections are connected to each other in the area of the landfill sole a sufficiently large work space for implementation of the upcoming construction measures. Here will through the execution of the shafts as cased large-bore holes achieved a stable and safe shoring and that Volume of excavation required is minimized. The space requirement the construction site on the landfill is small, so that also a possible disruption of the actual landfill operation can be limited to a small extent. A Outgassing of the landfill is largely avoided since the piped Shaft walls are closed. Accordingly also an undesirable introduction of oxygen into the landfill kept low. A ventilation provided according to the invention of the work space at the level of the landfill floor can be the inventive method by the arrangement of Design manholes very effectively, because that is to be weathered Room volume is small and the flow path is clearly specified is. Any necessary water drainage can be carried out in the shafts in a technically simple manner. The sinking of the shafts can advantageously be done mechanically be performed. Only in the area of the landfill sole the shafts are sunk manually to prevent damage to avoid the basic sealing of the landfill.

The method according to the invention is particularly suitable Measures for progressive renovation work. So can in a further development of the invention be provided that after Completion of construction work in the of two shafts and the piping formed in a tunnel section one first shaft is pulled and the other A third cased shaft on the side of the second shaft sunk and through an accessible tunnel to the second Shaft is connected. In this way, the individual close Working spaces at the level of the landfill bottom, while shaft openings in one on the landfill body Distance from each other. With the sinking of the third shaft can be excavated if the first shaft is not filled should remain.

The inventive method is also suitable for Pull the pipework of the manholes at certain intervals To expand gas wells or at suitable locations, for example the junctions of drainage pipes in a main collector To create inspection shafts.

Figure 1 shows the arrangement of two through cased large holes Shafts 1, 2 formed by a landfill body 3 have been sunk down to a landfill base 4 are. Shafts 1, 2 are accessible and have one Diameter of about 2.5 m. Their center distance is approximately 5.5 m. The two are at the level of the landfill base 4 Shafts 1, 2 connected by a tunnel 5, the mining is approached. The tunnel 5 is also accessible and has a height of about 2.0 m and a width of about 1.0 m. The landfill body 3 is around the tunnel 5 by means of rammed skewers 6 attached. The tunnel walls can additionally be supported and sealed with plates. The both shafts 1, 2 and the tunnel 5 are located immediately over one made of stoneware drainpipes, for example existing drainage line 7, which is on a sole waterproofing 8 is laid and covered with a gravel bed 9.

By the described arrangement of the two through the tunnel 5 connected shafts 1, 2 is above the drainage line 7 created a work space that makes it possible, as in figure 1 illustrates, according to the known burst lining method to renew the drainage line 7. For this, the stoneware pipes expanded within the work area. Subsequently becomes a new pipeline string 10, at the end a burst lining missile 11 is attached through the shaft 2 introduced into the work space and using the burst lining missile 11 while destroying the existing ones Stoneware pipes in the existing pipe duct of the drainage line 7 moved in. The jacking is done by a pull rope 12 previously inserted into the drainage line 7 supported. The pull rope 12 runs through the drainage line 7 at a suitable distance from the shafts 1,2 constructed above the drainage line 7 second shaft arrangement or to an end pit located next to the landfill and is led to a winch there. When moving in the pipeline string 10 is guided on guide rollers 13, which are arranged in the shaft 2. On the landfill body 3 a roller carriage 14 ensures the guidance of the pipeline rod.

After the pipe string 10 in the one left in Figure 1 shown section of the drainage line 7 retracted is, via the same procedure on the shaft 1 Another pipeline in the other, right in Figure 1 shown section of the drainage line 7 retracted and connected to the pipeline string 10.

During the execution of this construction work, the work space weathered, for example with the help of a Blower the shaft 1 fresh air is supplied to the foot of shaft 1 reaches tunnel 2 via tunnel 5 and leaves the work area again.

After completion of the construction work, the piping of the Shafts 1, 2 are pulled and the shafts are moved again Landfill material backfilled.

The method according to the invention is also suitable for production of a main collector under a landfill. Here are successively two cased shafts at a distance of approx. 7.5 m to the base seal and between a tunnel connection was established to the shafts. Subsequently the collector pipes are created in the work space laid in a pipe bed on the bottom of the landfill, with encased in a gravel fill and backfilled. Is a Section of the main collector installed, the piping of the first shaft and behind the second shaft a third shaft is sunk, which in turn has a Tunnel connection is connected to the second shaft. Of the The main collector can now be removed from the second shaft to the third shaft. Progressing in this way the pipeline of the collector is created.
