Definitions
- the invention relates to a Kelly bar drilling device, which is particularly suitable for pile drilling.
- Kelly rods In the production of foundation bores for piles, Kelly rods are used, which can be telescoped in order to achieve drilling depths that are greater than the mast length without extension segments.
- the Kelly rod consists of an outer tube and at least one telescopic tube arranged therein and displaceable therefrom, which can be locked with the outer tube in order to transmit the torque required for drilling and the axial pressing forces to the drilling tool.
- the drilling tools usually used, which are attached to the front end of the innermost telescopic tube, are rotary drilling tools (augers, drilling buckets, core drilling bits), which take up the soil in the borehole. If the rotary drilling tool is filled with soil, the Kelly system is pulled up with a rope, whereby the pipes of the Kelly rod slide into each other.
- the usual Kelly bar systems with rotary drilling tools can mainly only be used in non-rocky soils, but fail if there are pieces of rock or similar resistances in the soil that cannot be overcome by dry rotary drilling.
- a drilling device according to the preamble of claim 1 is known.
- a pressure medium such as compressed air or pressure fluid, cannot be led to the tool through a Kelly rod because the pressure medium would escape at the connection points of the tubes of the Kelly rod.
- flushing holes are not possible with a Kelly rod drilling device in which a flushing medium is introduced into the borehole in order to flush out the drillings.
- the invention has for its object to provide a drilling device with telescopic Kelly rod, with which larger drilling resistances can be overcome and which allows rotary drilling or rinsing drilling.
- a pressure fluid is not introduced directly into the inside of the Kelly rod, but into a pressure line that extends in the Kelly rod.
- This pressure line is connected to a rotary head, which has a non-rotating stator and a rotor which is connected to the innermost telescopic tube of the Kelly rod in a rotationally fixed manner having.
- the stator of the rotary head is held in place by a fixing device so that the pressure line does not rotate or wind up when the Kelly rod is rotated.
- the pressure line is connected to the innermost telescopic tube using a rotary head contained in the Kelly rod.
- the tool can contain, for example, a deep hole hammer which is supplied with the pressure medium supplied and which strikes a drill bit.
- the tool can also contain a flushing device, from which the pressure medium exits, in order to flush drilling material out of the borehole.
- the invention makes it possible to additionally operate a Kelly rod drilling device with a pressure medium, which was not previously possible due to the sealing problems of the telescopic Kelly rod.
- the drilling device has a drilling mast 10 which is fastened to the boom 12 of a vehicle 11 and can be placed vertically.
- a carriage 14 can be moved vertically on a longitudinal guide 13 of the drilling mast.
- the carriage 14 carries a drive head 15 for the telescopic Kelly bar 16.
- the Kelly rod 16 has an outer tube 17 and in this case a single telescopic tube 18 which is telescopically displaceable in the outer tube. Both tubes 17 and 18 can have approximately the same length. They are or the like by splines. secured against mutual twisting. Furthermore, the telescopic tube 18 is locked in the fully extended state when the Kelly rod is rotated in one direction of rotation relative to the outer tube 17 against axial displacement. This lock can be released if the Kelly rod is rotated in the other direction of rotation, so that the tubes 17 and 18 can then be pushed into one another.
- the front end of the telescopic tube 18 is closed with a welded-on base plate 19, which has an axially projecting transition piece 20.
- the drilling tool 22 is fastened to this extension piece 20 with an adapter 21.
- the drilling tool 22 consists of a deep hole hammer 23 and a drill bit 24.
- a tube 25, which forms a channel 26, extends through the telescopic tube 18 over the entire length of the telescopic tube.
- the lower end of the tube 25 is welded to the base plate 19 and the channel 26 communicates with the inlet 27 of the deep hole hammer 23 via the hollow extension 20.
- the tube 25 is connected to the rotary head 30, which consists of a stator 31 and a rotor 32.
- the connecting sleeve 28 is sealingly connected to the stator 31.
- a flexible pressure line 33 leads to the stator 31, which passes through the drive head 15 and runs over deflection rollers 34, 35.
- the pressure line 33 is held under tension by a flexible tensioning device (not shown). The pressure fluid supplied from the pressure line 33 to the rotary head 30 is transferred into the tube 25 and passed on from there to the tool 22.
- the anti-rotation device 36 is a tube which is fastened to the carriage 14 with a holder 37 and projects through the drive head 15 into the outer tube 17 of the Kelly rod 16. This tube has strips or slots 37 which engage with projections 38 of the stator 31 so that the rotary head 30 can be moved axially in the anti-rotation device 36, but is secured against rotation.
- a traction cable 40 runs through the tube 36 via deflection rollers 41, 42 provided at the upper end of the drilling mast 10 to form a cable winch 43 which can be driven around the telescopic tube 28 pull up with the tool 22.
- the upper end of the borehole 44 is secured by a support tube 45, which can be pushed into the borehole in accordance with the drilling progress in order to support the borehole wall.
- Supporting the borehole wall can be expedient to prevent the backwashed fluid from flushing out the borehole.
- the drilling device works as follows:
- the telescopic tube 18 is fully retracted into the outer tube 17.
- the tube 36 is located between the tubes 17 and 18.
- the tubes 17 and 18 are locked in this position relative to one another against axial displacement.
- the drive head 15 engages on the outside of the outer tube 17 and rotates it, as a result of which the telescopic tube 18 and the tool 22 are also rotated.
- the carriage 14 is moved downward along the drilling mast 10 and in doing so presses the Kelly rod 16 in rotation with the drive head 15.
- the cable 40 is unwound by actuating a cable winch.
- the telescopic tube 18 can be moved out of the outer tube 17 in accordance with the lowering speed specified by the advance of the tool.
- Drilling can be carried out as rinsing drilling.
- flushing medium air or liquid
- This flushing medium passes through the rotary head 30 and the pipe 25 to the drilling tool 22. It emerges from the drill bit 24 and rinses the drill material up in the borehole 44.
- drilling tool 22 instead of the drilling tool 22 shown in the drawings, other drilling tools that require a pressure or flushing medium can also be used.
- the anti-rotation device 36 is attached to the carriage 14 and has a constant length.
- the anti-rotation device can be attached to the drilling mast 10.

Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
