Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a shut-off device for ducts with large cross sections, in particular for exhaust gas and flue gas ducts of power plants, with a duct housing with a circumferential sealing air duct designed as a flap stop with sealing air blow-out openings distributed over its circumference and with a pivotably mounted shut-off flap with a double-sided peripheral seal for blowing in sealing air when the double seal is pressed against the sealing air duct in the flap closed position. Such a device is known from document DE-U-8 314 781.
- Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. In such shut-off devices, large temperature differences regularly occur between the inside and outside of the duct, because relatively hot flue gases and also exhaust gases flow through the ducts. Such temperature differences result in significant thermal expansions. This applies in particular to the stopper-forming sealing air duct opposite the duct housing. Such thermal expansions must therefore be compensated for. For this reason, a central suspension of the frame-type sealing air duct has already been attempted, namely by realizing a fixed suspension point in the central region of the upper duct broad side and of round holes arranged all around, in order to provide sufficient fastening elements for the sealing air duct in the region of its two long sides and its lower broad side To provide motion game. However, such measures are complicated from a manufacturing point of view and can in particular lead to uncontrolled frame movements. - The invention seeks to remedy this.
The invention has for its object to provide a shut-off device for channels with large cross sections, in particular for exhaust gas and flue gas channels of power plants, the embodiment described above, in which the thermal expansion of the sealing air channel are compensated in a well-defined manner.
This problem is solved by the invention in a generic shut-off device in that the sealing air duct is divided into sealing air duct sections, that the sealing air duct sections form expansion joints between them, that the sealing air duct sections are connected to the duct housing with a play of movement predetermined in their longitudinal direction, that the expansion joints are inserted into the sealing air duct sections Inner pipe sections are bridged with a sealing effect and that the inner pipe sections are each attached to only one of the two sealing air duct sections forming the respective expansion joint. - These measures of the invention have the consequence that the sealing air duct sections can always expand or contract in their longitudinal direction and consequently in a well-defined manner in the course of the compensation of thermal expansions. Due to the expansion joints between the Sealing air duct sections can compensate for the thermal expansions even if extreme temperature differences occur in shutoff devices with extremely large duct cross sections or butterfly valves of up to 100 m 2 and more, for example. A controlled movement of the sealing air duct sections is always ensured in their longitudinal direction, so that the construction according to the invention can also be easily mastered in terms of production technology. The large freedom of movement of the sealing air duct sections also results in trouble-free operation in all temperature ranges and also with rapid heating of the smoke and exhaust gases. In fact, stretches of up to 10 cm and more can easily be absorbed.
Further features essential to the invention are listed below. Thus, the invention teaches that the sealing air duct for forming the sealing air duct sections is divided into the sealing air duct corners and / or in the central region of its long and long sides by means of expansion joints and the sealing air duct corners are fixedly connected to the duct housing. The sealing air duct corners therefore form the fixed points, while the thermal expansion is compensated by means of the movable sealing air duct sections. Corresponding expansion joints can already be used directly to form these sealing air duct sections be realized after the sealing air duct corners. However, it is also possible to provide such expansion joints only in the area of the middle of the longitudinal and broad sides of the channel. The invention further teaches that the sealing air duct sections have angled connecting flanges, that the connecting flanges have elongated holes in the longitudinal direction of the sealing air duct sections and are connected by means of fastening screws to holding flanges fastened to the duct housing, the fastening screws penetrating the holding flanges and the elongated holes of the connecting flanges being tightened to a predetermined tightening torque . In the context of the invention, therefore, a screw fastening for the sealing air duct sections is realized, which is set such that the longitudinal mobility of the sealing air duct sections is not hindered in the course of the compensation of thermal expansions, nevertheless a correct fastening of the sealing air duct sections in the duct housing is ensured. For technical reasons, the sealing air duct sections are preferably composed of L-shaped and Z-shaped sealing air duct halves to form a box-shaped duct cross section and two parallel connecting flanges, the two connecting flanges with the elongated holes receiving the respective holding flange between them. This embodiment of the sealing air duct sections is of particular importance because their screw fastening is also acted on by sealing air, that is to say also in the area of Fixing screws or the elongated holes in the connecting flanges and the penetrations in the holding flange prevent gas from being transferred. Otherwise, the sealing air applied for this purpose to the double seal of the butterfly valve pressed against the sealing air duct would only lead to a partially canceled and consequently reduced sealing effect. The sealing effect in the area of the fastening screws is further increased by the fact that the fastening screws are inserted with washers covering the elongated holes.
In addition, the invention recommends that the outer cross section of the inner tube sections is adapted or corresponds to the inner cross section of the sealing air duct sections, so that on the one hand there is a play required for thermal expansion, but on the other hand a sealing effect is already achieved. According to a proposal of the invention of independent importance, this sealing effect is optimized in that the expansion joints of the sealing air duct sections are bridged on the outside with metal foil tapes of a predetermined width surrounding them tightly. These metal foil strips also permit longitudinal movement of the sealing air duct sections, although they nestle against the sealing air duct sections in such a way that a sealing effect against sealing air leakage is ensured. The metal foil strips are expediently clamped in the area of the connecting and holding flanges by means of the fastening screws.
