Abstract

A drive device for a slatted blind (1), in particular for roof windows, is composed of a motor-driven upper driveshaft (12) which is connected, via a lifting mechanism, to a lifting rod (4) which is arranged beneath the slats (2) and of which the ends are guided in rails (7) fastened on the window frame (6), cord-like carrying ladders (3) which receive the slats (2) being fitted on a turning device which is assigned to the driveshaft (12). In order to guide the lifting rod (4) reliably, even in the case of a flat roof inclination, to a horizontal arrangement, and to prevent sticking, the driveshaft is provided at both ends with a gearwheel (13) which is connected to a drive belt (8) which is deflected at the lower end of the relevant guide rail (7) and on which the lifting rod (4) is fastened. Moreover, the drive device can also be used, with slight modifications, for roller blinds or folding curtains. For roller blinds, the gearwheels are fastened fixedly on the shaft and/or hollow shaft and a torsion spring is arranged between the shaft and the tube shaft and a roller blind which can be wound up and unwound is fastened on the tube shaft. For folding curtains, the gearwheels are fastened fixedly on the shaft and/or hollow shaft and a folding curtain which is connected to the lifting rod is fastened on the tube shaft. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a drive device for a slatted blind, in particular for roof windows, the slats of which hang in cord-shaped ladders, the inclination of which can be adjusted by means of a turning device, are guided with their ends in side rails and are underpinned by a lifting and lowering lifting rod, the Hoist consists of a drive shaft which can be rotated in both directions and which has a gear wheel at its two ends which engages with a drive belt arranged between deflection rollers, to which the lift rod is fastened.

In the case of slatted blinds, it is generally known to hang the slats in cord-shaped support ladders, the drawstrings or spars of which hang on a turning device with which the inclination of the slats can be adjusted. The slats are underpinned by a lifting rod which is raised or lowered by means of a drive device, the slats being stacked flat on the lifting rod in the raised state and hanging at a distance in the steps of the ladder ladder in the lowered state. In a lamella blind known from DE-OS 38 01 560, a shaft which can be driven by an electric motor is arranged as the drive device, on which winding drums rotatably mounted on bearing blocks are fastened. Elevator belts belonging to the winding drums pass through openings provided in the slats and are attached with their lower ends to the lifting rod or lower slat. By driving the shaft in one direction or the other, the elevator belts become wound up or unwound. The motor located on the end of the drive shaft takes up a lot of space. In an embodiment described in DE-OS 17 84 707, the drive takes place via a shaft provided at its ends with a gearwheel which can be rotated by hand in both directions, the gearwheels engaging with a drive belt arranged on the sides between deflection rollers the lifting rod is attached. A similar embodiment is shown in EP 0 369 068 A1, in which the ends of the lifting rod are fastened to wind-up belts which are provided with perforations into which gearwheels fastened on the drive shaft engage. The drive motor is bulky at one end of the drive shaft.

On the other hand, so-called folding curtains are known for windows, which are attached to an upper rail and are folded together by a lifting rod when pulled up. In the embodiment described in EP 0 362 923 A1, the lifting rod is fastened to drive belts which are arranged between deflection rollers. The upper deflection rollers are fastened to the ends of a drive shaft which is connected via a gear transmission to a tubular motor arranged in parallel under the drive shaft. The motor arrangement means a high box in the upper window area and significantly reduces the clear window opening. Finally, from DE 35 18 371 A1 motor drives for roller blinds are known, in which the cloth is wound on a spring-loaded winding roll and a pull rod is actuated via spindle drives. The motor protrudes in a flying arrangement into one end of the winding roll, but the arrangement of bearing blocks and spur gear requires additional space on the side, so that a relatively wide area that cannot be covered by the cloth remains between the spindles and the cloth edge. The space problem also exists in the sun and weather protection roof (awning) described in DE-G 88 02 794.5, in which the drive shaft and winding shaft are arranged in parallel one above the other.

In contrast, the object of the invention is to design a drive device corresponding to the preamble of claim 1 in a particularly compact design which reduces the window opening as little as possible.

This object is achieved in that a cylindrical motor and gear unit with a bearing pin rotatably attached to the window frame and is provided on the output side with a clutch, on the one hand via a central shaft with a gear and on the other hand via a motor and gear unit enveloping hollow shaft is connected to the other gear.

The motor and transmission unit is advantageously arranged coaxially to the drive axis and between the gear wheels, the force being divided into both axial directions. The force is transmitted to the side belt drives via the central shaft pointing in one direction and the hollow shaft pointing in the other direction, which envelops the motor and transmission unit. Due to the coaxial arrangement, a very low overall height of the structural unit consisting of motor and drive shaft is achieved. The arrangement of the motor and transmission unit between the gear wheels avoids a space-consuming arrangement outside of the gear wheels. The clear window opening is thus better used both in height and in width.

A simple mounting and storage can be created in that the central shaft is provided with a resilient pressure pin which rotatably supports in a bearing sleeve attached to the window frame. An expedient power transmission from the drive shaft to the drive belt can be achieved in that each gear wheel engages in a pinion which is connected to the relevant upper deflection roller.

Eine zwischen den Zahnrädern auf der zentrischen Welle und Hohlwelle drehbar gelagerte Rohrwelle dient der Zuordnung einer Wendevorrichtung für die Lamellenjalousie oder läßt die Zuordnung einer Spann- und Wickelvorrichtung für ein Rollo oder die Befestigung eines Faltvorhangs zu.One between the gears on the central shaft and Hollow shaft rotatably mounted tubular shaft is used to assign a turning device for the Venetian blind or to assign a tensioning and winding device for a blind or the attachment of a folding curtain.

For the assignment of a turning device, the gears are rotatably mounted on the central shaft or hollow shaft between two stops by an angle of about 180 ° and the tubular shaft is connected to the central shaft or hollow shaft via a slip clutch, the rotatability of which is fixed by a stop attached to the window frame is limited to approximately 180 ° and to which the supporting conductors of the slats are attached. When the motor is actuated in one or the other direction, the gears are only taken along when the central shaft or hollow shaft hits the stops. However, in this phase of rotation the tubular shaft is rotated by the slip clutch until it is held by the stop attached to the window frame. By turning the tubular shaft, the spars of the ladder ladders attached to it are tightened on one side or the other, the slats being pivotable by approximately 180 °. With this design, the lifting rod can first be brought into any desired position and the suitable slat inclination can be obtained by controlled subsequent turning back. To form the stops, a disk-shaped driver is preferably attached to the outer end of the central shaft or hollow shaft, which has an arcuate cut-out forming the stops into which a driver pin attached to the gearwheel engages.

With a slight modification or addition, the drive device suitable for louvre blinds can also be used for roller blinds or folding curtains. For use with roller blinds, the gears are firmly attached to the central shaft or hollow shaft. For this, the driver also has a small cutout and is for one backlash-free coupling can be plugged onto the drive pin of the gearwheel. With this fixation, the drive device is suitable for a roller, wherein a torsion spring is only to be arranged between the central shaft and the tubular shaft and a roll-up roller blind connected to the lifting rod is to be attached to the tubular shaft. In this version, the gears are immediately rotated and the lifting rod is taken along. At the same time, the torsion spring is tensioned and finally the tubular shaft is turned. This tension is maintained and ensures that the roller blind remains tensioned and winds up the roller blind when the lifting rod is pulled up. In contrast to the known spring roller blinds, the spring is not built up continuously over the path of the lifting rod, but rather only a winding tension overcoming the holding force is formed and is maintained essentially unchanged.

For use with folding curtains, the gearwheels are also firmly attached to the central shaft or hollow shaft in the aforementioned manner, while a folding curtain connected to the lifting rod is fastened to the tubular shaft. In this version, the folding curtain hangs on the non-rotating tubular shaft and the closing and opening of the folding curtain takes place solely via the lifting rod, on which the curtain lies when it is lifted, forming folds.

Fig. 1). The slatted blind 1 consists of a plurality of slats 2, which are arranged between steps of two or more ladders 3 consisting of a cord or the like. In the lowered state, the slats 2 hang at a distance in the steps of the ladder ladder 3, while in the pulled-up state they are stacked flat on a lifting rod 4 (cf. FIG. 1). The upper ends of the support conductors 3 are fastened to a tubular shaft 5, by means of which the slat inclination can be adjusted. The in the window frame 6 attached rails 7 ends of the lifting rod 4 are each attached to an endless, designed as a flat toothed belt 8, each of which runs over an upper and a lower pulley 9, 10, of which the upper pulley 9 with a pinion 11 is connected, which engages in a gear shaft 13 assigned to a drive shaft 12 on both sides. By turning the gears 13, the lifting rod 4 attached to the two drive belts 8 is lowered or raised depending on the direction of rotation. 2 and 3, a guide piece 14 is attached to the ends of the lifting rod 4, which runs on the one hand between two legs 15 of the rail 7 and on the other hand is connected via a pin 16 to a driver 17 fastened to the drive belt 8. The pulleys are for easy assembly 9,10 each mounted in a fitting that can be plugged onto the relevant end of a leg 19 of the rail 7.

Fig. 5). The drive unit acting on the gear wheels 13 is enclosed and covered by the tubular shaft 5 forming the turning device. It consists of a cylindrical motor and gear unit 20, which is fastened in a rotationally fixed manner to the window frame 6 by means of a bearing bolt 21 and a square pin 22 (see FIG. 4 lower part) and which has a bore 23 for the passage of a power cable 24 supplying the electric motor . The output side of the motor and gear unit 20 is provided with a clutch 25, which on the one hand via a central shaft 26 with the gear 13 shown on the left and on the other hand via a hollow shaft 27 enveloping the motor and gear unit 20 with the one on the right illustrated gear 13 is connected. The end of the central shaft 26 is rotatably fastened by means of a pressure pin 28 in a bearing 29 attached to the window frame 6. The push pin 28 can be axially pressed in against the force of a spring 30 for the purpose of lateral insertion. The gear 13 is rotatably supported on the sleeve-shaped end 31 between two stops 32, 33 by an angle of approximately 180 °. The stops 32, 33 are formed by a driver 34 fastened on the sleeve-shaped end 31, which has an arcuate cutout 35 which forms the stops and into which a driver pin 36 attached to the gearwheel 13 engages (cf. FIG. 5). In addition, the disk-shaped driver 34 has a small cutout 37. If the driver 34 is pushed onto the sleeve-shaped end 31 such that the driver pin 36 lies in this small cutout 37, the gear 13 is rotated without play. In the same way, the hollow shaft 27 or its sleeve-shaped end 38 is connected to the other gear 13 via a driver 34 of the same design, which therefore either rotates depending on the mounting position of the driver 34 receives from about 180 ° or is fixed to the end 38.

Fig. 4 und 6).The drive device also includes a slip clutch 40 arranged between the central shaft 26 and the outer tubular shaft 5, which is rotatably mounted on the sleeve-shaped ends 31 and 38 by means of bearing bushes 39. The parts of the slip clutch 40 which are rotatable relative to one another are on the central shaft 26 or fixed to the outer tubular shaft 5. Finally, part of the drive device is a stop 41 which limits the rotation of the tubular shaft 5 to approximately 180 °, which consists of an annular body 43 fastened on the tubular shaft 5, provided with a stop pin 42 and fastened to the window frame 6 and provided with an arcuate groove 44 consists. The stop pin 42 slides in the groove 44, the ends of which limit the angle of rotation of approximately 180 ° (cf. FIGS. 4 and 6).

The effect of the drive device is as follows: In the starting position, the slatted blind 1 is in the so-called pulled-up or, to put it more correctly, in the position raised by the lifting rod 4. To lower it, the motor and gear unit 20 is switched on, so that the sleeve-shaped ends 31 and 38 of the central shaft 26 and hollow shaft 27 are rotated. However, the gears 13 are initially not rotated until the stops 32 of the drivers 34 abut against the driver pins 36. In this phase, the lifting rod 4 is not yet lowered, but the slip clutch 41 also rotates the outer tubular shaft 5, so that the slats 2 are tilted into their concealing position. The rotational movement of the tubular shaft 5 is finally limited by the stop 41. Now the gears 13 are also rotated and the lifting rod 4 is lowered via the drive belt 8. By switching off the motor, the lifting rod 4 can be fixed in any stroke position. The slat inclination can be adjusted in any stroke position can be adjusted by operating the motor and gear unit in the opposite direction. Because of the play between the driver 34 and the gear wheels 13, the lifting rod 4 stops, while the tubular shaft 5 - now in the other direction of rotation - is rotated and the slats 2 are tilted back over the support conductors 3. Control in any tilt position is possible. If the slatted blind is to be raised again, the working cycle takes place with the drive and direction of rotation reversed.

The drive device explained above for a slatted blind can also be used for roller blinds with a slight modification or addition. For this purpose, the upper edge of a roller blind is attached to the outer tubular shaft 5 and the lower edge of the roller blind is attached to the lifting rod 4. On the gear wheels 13, the drivers 34 are attached to the ends 31 and 38 of the central shaft 26 and hollow shaft 27, respectively, that the driver pin 36 lies in the small cutout 37 and the gear wheels 13 are carried along without play. In addition, a torsion spring is arranged between the axial shaft 26 and the tubular shaft 5, which on the one hand on a conical extension 46 (see FIG. 4), on the other hand on a similar extension and attached to the tubular shaft 5, not shown in the drawing Mounting ring is attached. The stop 41 is not required in this application. When lowering the blind, the gears 13 are rotated immediately and the lifting rod 4 is brought down. At the same time, however, the outer tubular shaft 5 is also rotated, a tension force being built up in the torsion spring. The tension is retained and ensures that the roller blind remains tensioned and winds up the roller blind when the lifting rod is pulled up or pulled back.

For this purpose, the gears 13 are also fixed on the central shaft 26 by the driver 34 or hollow shaft 27 attached. The upper end of the folding curtain is fastened to the outer tubular shaft 5, which is not rotated, while the lower end is connected to the lifting rod. In this use, the fold curtain hangs on the outer tubular shaft 5, and the fold curtain is unfolded or folded up solely by means of the lifting rod 4, on which the curtain lies when it is lifted, forming folds.
