Description

The invention relates to a lifting and locking device for the roof and the upper loading platform on covered double-decker car transport goods wagons which have height-adjustable vehicle roofs and loading platforms to adapt to different vehicle boundaries and transport requirements.

According to DE 40 020 20, covered double-decker freight cars for transporting passenger cars are known in which the upper loading platform and the roof are coupled to one another in a movement-dependent manner, so that when the lifting device for the upper loading platform is actuated, the roof is carried along in a direction-conforming manner. Hydraulic cylinders, which can be loaded synchronously, are arranged on the columns as the drive for the lifting device. The disadvantage here is that the height ratio between the roof and the upper loading platform can not be varied and thus the useful properties of these vehicles are significantly restricted.

There are also known double-decker car transport vehicles in which the upper loading platform z. B. is adjustable via cables or spindles and the roof via a central drive separated from the stage lifting device z. B. pneumatic cylinder is raised (DE 41 07 476). The disadvantage here is that a high outlay in production and maintenance is necessary for the roof and stage drive, since separate and different lifting devices and drives are necessary in a multiple arrangement.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a roof and stage drive and a storage for covered double-decker freight cars, the position of the roof and the upper loading platform is freely selectable, the effort in manufacturing and maintenance kept low, functional reliability and ease of movement and increased the operation is simplified.

According to the invention the object is achieved in that in each support column for the vehicle roof there are combined roof and loading platform spindle gearboxes, for which a common or for a pair of supporting columns common switchable drive is provided and that for the vertical roof and loading platform guidance between the vehicle roof and supporting columns and between Upper loading platform and support pillars Guide elements are arranged laterally outside the support pillars, which consist of the vehicle roof and the upper loading platform in the longitudinal and transverse direction of stabilizing roller guides on the fixed bearing side at the end of the vehicle and on the floating bearing side of the vehicle roof and the upper loading platform in the transverse direction stabilizing roller guides consist. According to further features of the invention, the combined roof and loading platform spindle gear is designed as a hollow spindle and spindle pushed into one another. The support columns have a U-shaped cutout in their upper area, which is closed at its upper end with a transverse yoke with a spindle nut for spindle mounting. For the vertical mounting of the upper loading platform, in the sense of relieving the hollow spindle and spindle, rollers and card portions are arranged laterally above the spindle nuts. The hollow spindle and the spindle carry a spindle nut with a plastic thread insert. There are hanging tabs on the floating bearing side between the spindle nut and the card portion. Furthermore, sprockets are arranged at the lower ends of the hollow spindles and the spindles, which form a cohesive and encapsulated assembly with a drive unit. Corresponding to the height end positions of the vehicle roof, which can be adjusted to the various vehicle boundaries, removable support elements are provided between the support pillars and the vehicle roof, which have vertical supports and inclined horizontal limits on the fixed bearing side of the vehicle roof and correspond to synchronism correction stops. The respective height end positions of the vehicle roof are programmed height positions of the switch contacts assigned to the upper loading platform. The synchronism correction stops are arranged in the extreme high and low positions of the vehicle roof and the upper loading platform on the support columns. Furthermore, numbered visual markings are arranged on the support columns and a pointer on the loading platform corresponds to each other.

Figure 1 shows a covered double-decker freight car with the lifting and locking device according to the invention. The liftable vehicle roof 1 and the upper loading platform 2 are carried over four support columns 3, 4, 5, and 6, which rest on the base frame 7. In each support column 3, 4, 5, 6 a roof and loading platform spindle gear 8 is accommodated with which either the vehicle roof 1 or the upper loading platform 2 can be moved vertically. For this purpose, the roof and loading platform spindle gear 8 consists of a hollow spindle 9 and one in this inserted spindle 10. The hollow spindle 9 carries, as can be seen in FIG. 2, the upper loading platform 2 via spindle nuts 11 and vertical supports 12. The spindle 10 also carries the vehicle roof 1 via spindle nuts 11 and vertical supports 12 to stabilize the spindle holder and limitation the lifting height of the vehicle roof 1, the support columns 3, 4, 5, 6 have in their upper area a U-shaped cutout 13, which closes at its upper end with a transverse yoke 14 which holds the spindle 10 with the spindle nut 11. For holding the hollow spindle 9 at its upper end, a transverse yoke 14 of this type is arranged on the support columns 3, 4, 5, 6 in the region of the highest position of the upper loading platform 2. Between the vehicle roof 1 and the support columns 3, 4, 5, 6 and between the upper loading platform 2 and the support columns 3, 4, 5, 6 are, as shown in FIGS. 2, 3, 4 and 5, laterally outside the support columns 3, 4, 5, 6 guide elements 15 are arranged with guide rollers 16. They run in specially provided roller guides 17 along the support columns 3, 4, 5, 6. Thus, a stable, uniform and smooth movement sequence is ensured during the raising or lowering of the vehicle roof 1 or the upper loading platform 2. In particular, the roller guides 17 on the fixed bearing side 18 ensure longitudinal and transverse stabilization and the roller guides 17 on the floating bearing side 19 transverse stabilization of the vehicle roof 1 and the upper loading platform 2. To relieve the hollow spindle 9 and the spindles 10 there are also laterally on the fixed bearing side 18 the spindle nuts 11 rollers 20 and card portions 21 are provided. For the selection of the respective height end position of the vehicle roof 1, interchangeable support elements 22 are arranged between the vehicle roof 1 and the support columns 3, 4, 5, 6, which have vertical supports 23 and inclined horizontal boundaries 24 on the fixed bearing side 18 of the freight car and correspond to synchronism correction stops 25. FIG. 6 shows the suspension of the loading platform 2 via hanging brackets 26 between the card portion 21 and the spindle nut 11 Loading platform 2 resulting horizontal displacement of the loading platform 2 with respect to the support columns 3, 4 on the floating bearing side 19 thereby compensates. The vehicle roof 1 and upper loading platform 2 are raised and lowered by means of a common drive, for example an electric motor 27, which drives the hollow spindles 9 or the spindles 10 of a pair of support columns 3, 4 or 5, 6 via a gear 28. FIG. 7 shows the switching mechanism by means of which the vehicle roof 1 or the upper loading platform 2 can be actuated. For this purpose, sprockets 29 are provided at the lower ends of the hollow spindles 9 and the spindles 10, which are driven by the electric motor 27 via a chain 30. The sprocket 29 of the hollow spindle 9 or the spindle 10 is optionally in engagement. Another embodiment of the switching mechanism is shown in FIG. 8 as a view from above. Here, two spindles 10 are arranged next to one another, one of the two being provided for raising and lowering the vehicle roof 1 and the second for actuating the upper loading platform 2. The actuation of the spindles 10 is also possible here via a gear 28. Figure 9 shows a further embodiment of the spindle nut 11 with a highly slidable plastic threaded insert 31 which is encased and secured by a metal ring. A metal nut 32 arranged under the spindle nut 11 assumes an additional securing function. According to FIG. 10, visual markings 33 are arranged on the support columns 3, 4 or 5, 6, which, depending on the position of the vehicle roof 1, enable an exact height adjustment of the upper loading platform 2. This can be read off by means of a pointer 34 arranged on the loading platform 2.
With the lifting and locking device according to the invention, covered double-decker car transport goods wagons can be converted with a simple operation in accordance with the respective transport requirements. The required height position of the vehicle roof and the upper loading platform and their position to each other can be freely adjusted and thus ensures high usage properties of the vehicle. The technical implementation of lifting and lowering the vehicle roof and the upper loading platform ensures a high level of functional reliability and ease of movement.
