Definitions

  • the invention relates to a folding container according to the preamble of claim 1 for collecting or for receiving and disposing of valuable materials, waste material, garbage or the like, consisting of two container sections divided along a common closure level, for. B. half-shells, which are connected to one another on their top side by means of joints directed parallel to the closure plane, each container section or each half-shell offset from the axis of the joints on the top having hooking elements with which a hook on a crane boom or the like arranged hanging cross member for power-driven hooks Lifting as well as for controlling the opening and closing process can be coupled and a partition wall arranged between the opening sides of the adjacent container sections or half-shells can be locked in their closed position on or in front of the opening side of a container section or half-shell and in at least one spread position of these container sections or Half shells can be transferred from the locking position into an unlocking position by an actuator.
  • DE-U-88 05 173 therefore proposes a folding container of the type specified at the outset, which is suitable for enabling separate collection and storage of different materials in a relatively narrow space, but at the same time also ensuring simplified disposal of these different materials .
  • a partition wall arranged between the opening sides of the adjacent container sections or half-shells of the folding container, which can be locked in its closed position on or in front of the opening side of a container section or half-shell and in at least one spread position of these container sections or half-shells by a Actuator can be transferred from the locking position into an unlocking position.
  • a folding container according to DE-U-88 05 173 makes it possible to collect and store two different types of valuable materials, waste material, garbage or the like in close proximity but separately from one another, and then also to dispose of them.
  • the invention therefore aims to provide a folding container of the type specified in the introduction, in which three different collecting chambers can be made available with relatively little additional construction work.
  • Such a design of the folding container makes it possible to initially only release the collecting space of the container section or the half-shell for emptying, to which no partition wall is assigned, by means of the power-driven opening process brought about by the hanging cross member. Then, and optionally at other points, the two bulkhead parts in front of the opening side of the other container section can then be offset in time from one another or the other half-shell are unlocked so that the collection spaces separated from one another are emptied.
  • An essential development feature of the invention for a folding container with the aforementioned equipment also consists in the fact that the container section or the half-shell in which the partition is contained has three insertion openings next to one another at its upper end, that the middle insertion opening is provided above the partition and that the central opening is underpinned by a channel-like slide which extends beyond the depth of the container section or the half-shell and through cutouts in both bulkhead parts into the other container section or the other half-shell.
  • the invention further provides that an actuator acts on each bulkhead part and that these actuators in two under different spreading positions of the two container sections or half-shells can be actuated.
  • the actuators can also consist of traction means loops according to EP-B-0 143 197. It is important, however, that traction means loops of different lengths are provided, the two ends of which are anchored at a distance from the connecting joint to the two container sections or half-shells of the folding container, in such a way that the traction means loops relax in the closed position of the folding container but from predetermined opening positions of the container sections or half-shells can be tensioned between their anchoring points and the hinge axis of the respective bulkhead or lifting swivel wall.
  • the invention provides that the partition in a container section or in the half-shell consists of sheet metal or a relatively close-meshed grid.
  • a folding container 1 is shown as it is mainly used for collecting or for receiving and disposing of valuable materials, old material, waste or the like. It consists of two container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b which are connected to one another at their upper side via joints 3 in such a way that the marginal edges of their mutually facing opening sides can either be placed close together on a vertical median plane or can be spread apart in a wedge shape around these joints 3 can, as is clear from Figures 1 to 5.
  • Each container section or each half-shell 2a and 2b of the folding container 1 has a hooking element 4a or 4b on its or its upper side, laterally and vertically offset from the axis of the joints 3, with which a force-driven hook 5a or 5b can be coupled or uncoupled leaves.
  • the power-driven hooks 5a and 5b are slidably guided on a suspension cross member 6, which in turn is carried by a crane boom 7, for example on a disposal vehicle.
  • the folding container 1 can on the one hand via the Crane boom 7 are raised.
  • the hooks 5a and 5b can also be displaced relative to one another by a power drive on the suspension crossmember such that the two container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b of the folding container 1 can inevitably be displaced in angle relative to one another about the axes of the joints connecting them.
  • the opening edges of the two container sections lie or half-shells 2a and 2b close to each other on a vertical plane, so that the folding container 1 is self-contained and can be placed at a suitable location, as can be seen in FIG. 10 by way of example.
  • the folding container 1 shown in the drawing is that an additional bulkhead 8 is arranged between the opening sides of the two container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b, which is in its closed position on or in front of the opening side of one of the two container sections or one of the half-shells 2a and 2b.
  • this additional bulkhead 8 is assigned to the right-hand container section or the right half-shell 2b, in such a way that it can be locked on or in front of its or its opening side.
  • the bulkhead 8 In its locking position, the bulkhead 8 assumes at least approximately parallel position to the opening edge of the container section or the half-shell 2b, as can be clearly seen in FIGS. 1 and 3 of the drawing.
  • the so-called bulkhead 8 is a so-called lift-and-swivel wall, which carries latching claws 9 at its lower end, each of which can be locked behind abutments 16 at the lower end of the opening side of the container section or the half-shell 2b, as shown in FIG. 3.
  • the upper end of the bulkhead 8 provided as a lifting / pivoting wall carries an articulated axis 10 which runs in sliding guides 11 which are arranged at the upper end of the container section or the half-shell 2b and extend approximately parallel to the opening plane or the same as that of the Figure 6 can be seen.
  • the sliding guides 11 for the hinge axis 10 can consist of loops, as can also be seen in FIG. 6.
  • the length of the sliding guides 11 is dimensioned such that it is at least slightly larger than the depth of engagement of the locking claws 9 behind the abutment 16th
  • two traction means loops 12a and 12b are firmly connected to each of the two container sections or each of the two half-shells 2a and 2b. These traction means loops 12a and 12b are also guided around the hinge axis 10 at the upper end of the bulkhead 8, as can be clearly seen from FIGS. 3 to 5.
  • the right-hand container section or the right half-shell 2b of the folding container 1 contains a partition wall 20 which is directed transversely to the partition wall 8 and which in the simplest case consists of sheet metal, but preferably consists of sheet metal is formed by a profile frame 21 with a closely meshed wire mesh 22, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 9.
  • the partition 20 is preferably arranged so that it distributes the container section or the half-shell 2b into two approximately equal-sized chambers.
  • the bulkhead 8 is not made in one piece, but consists of two bulkhead parts 8a and 8b, which abut each other in the area of a dividing joint and have a mirror-image formation, such as that Figure 7 shows the drawing.
  • the two halves or parts 8a and 8b of the bulkhead 8 are of course equipped with their own locking claws 9a and 9b and their own joint axes 10a and 10b so that they can perform their function independently of one another.
  • the bulkhead part 8a cooperates with the traction loop 12a via its hinge axis 10a, while the bulkhead part 8b cooperates with the traction loop 12b via its hinge axis 10b.
  • both traction means loops 12a and 12b is dimensioned such that they are completely relaxed in the closed position of the folding container 1, that is to say with container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b lying closely together with their opening edges, or slack from their two anchoring points 13a, 13b and 13c , 13d hang down. You can therefore have no effect on the hinge axes 10a and 10b of the two bulkhead parts 8a and 8b.
  • the traction means loop 12a When the spreading position of the folding container 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 is reached, the traction means loop 12a first comes to bear on the hinge axis 10a of the bulkhead part 8a, but without a tensile force acting on the hinge axis 10a. Only when there is a further spreading of the container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b of the folding container 1 from the position according to FIGS. 1 and 3 to the position according to FIGS. 2 and 4, is the traction loop 12a between its two anchoring points 13a and 13b and the Joint axis 10a is placed under tension so that a tensile force acts on the joint axis 10a.
  • the hinge axis 10a is then pulled up along the sliding guide 11, so that the bulkhead part 8a follows this movement.
  • the locking claws 9a of the bulkhead part 8a then come out of engagement with the abutments 16 on the container section or on the half-shell 2b.
  • the bulkhead part 8a under the action of its Swing the dead weight into the hanging position shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 and thereby release the opening side of the container section or the half-shell 2b in front of the one chamber delimited by the partition 20.
  • the second traction means loop 12b comes to rest on the hinge axis 10b of the bulkhead part 8b, but without a tensile force acting on the hinge axis 10b. Only when the container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b of the folding container 1 are moved from the spreading position according to FIG. 4 into the further spreading position according to FIG. 5, is the traction loop 12b also put under tension between its two anchoring points 13c and 13d and the articulated axis 10b, which exerts a tensile force on the joint axis 10b. The hinge axis 10b is thereby pulled up along the sliding guide 11, so that the bulkhead part 8b follows this movement.
  • FIGS. 1 and 3 While the folding container 1 in the spread position of its container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 enables the emptying of the left container section or the left half-shell 2a as a whole, subsequent adjustment of the two further spreading positions, as shown on the one hand in FIGS FIGS. 2 and 4 and on the other hand in FIG. 5 can be seen, one after the other, the two chambers of the right-hand container section or the partitioned apart by the partition 20 right half-shell 2b are released for successive emptying.
  • the different spreading positions for the container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b of the folding container 1 each depend on the sliding position of the power-driven hooks 5a and 5b on the hanging crossbar, there is the possibility of providing a display instrument in the driver's cabin, for example a disposal vehicle, which the respective reaching of the different spreading positions signals. It can then be ensured in a simple manner that the container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b or chambers of the folding container 1 loaded with the different recyclables or with different waste material, garbage or the like are also consequently, namely time-unloaded, unloaded .
  • the folding container 1 for example on the suspension crossmember 6 of the crane boom 7, to have a special power drive, e.g. B. assign a pressure medium drive, which can be coupled with the hinge axes 10a and 10b of the bulkhead parts 8a and 8b, so that for the purpose of unloading closer to both sides of the partition 20 lying chambers of the container section or the half-shell 2b unlocked accordingly time-shifted can be.
  • a special power drive e.g. B. assign a pressure medium drive, which can be coupled with the hinge axes 10a and 10b of the bulkhead parts 8a and 8b, so that for the purpose of unloading closer to both sides of the partition 20 lying chambers of the container section or the half-shell 2b unlocked accordingly time-shifted can be.
  • the bulkhead parts 8a and 8b provided as a lift-and-swivel wall can be automatically brought back into their correct closing and locking position relative to the container section or half-shell 2b when the folding container 1 is closed, it is provided that the locking claws 9a and 9b of the bulkhead Parts 8a and 8b of the abutments 16 facing bevels 14 received.
  • the closing process of the container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b these meet a transverse edge 15 upstream of the abutments 16 on the container section or half-shell 2b.
  • FIGS. 7 to 10 of the drawing A special feature of the folding container 1 of the type explained above can also be seen from FIGS. 7 to 10 of the drawing. It consists in that the container section or half-shell 2b, in which the partition 20 is installed, has three different insertion openings 24a, 24b, 24c for different recyclables or different waste material and waste or the like at its upper end at a distance from one another having. It is important that the central opening 24a is provided above the partition 20 and is underpinned by a channel-like slide 25 (FIGS. 8 and 9), which extends beyond the depth of the container section or the half-shell 2b into the other container section or the other half-shell 2a extends into it (FIG. 9).
  • a channel-like slide 25 FIGS. 8 and 9
  • the two bulkhead parts 8a and 8b have cutouts 26a and 26b at their upper end and adjacent to the dividing line 23-23, which correspond to the overall cross section of the channel-like slide 25 are aligned.
  • These cutouts 26a and 26b on the one hand ensure the proper functioning of the two bulkhead parts 8a and 8b for releasing and closing the two chambers located in the container section or in the half-shell 2b, but on the other hand also ensure the material introduced through the insertion opening 24a via the slide 25 is safely forwarded at any time into the container section or the half-shell 2a.
  • each container section or each half-shell 2a and 2b by a partition 20 into two adjacent chambers and each of these chambers in the two container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b each assign a bulkhead part.
  • the arrangement of the latter must be such that they can open laterally one after the other at different spreading angles of the container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b of the folding container 1 automatically or inevitably and without mutual hindrance.
  • each of the four bulkhead parts works together with its own traction device loop and the length of the four traction device loops is dimensioned so differently that they can only respond at different spreading angles of the two container sections or half-shells 2a and 2b and accordingly, unlock the bulkhead parts one after the other in time.
