Abstract

The goods waggon consists of fixed end walls, and two sliding hoods, which move via rollers in rails. The bogies (2) of the longitudinal waggon sides each carry an actuator shaft (9), which are coupled. Each also carries a rail profile (6) with two running rails (7,8) on different levels. Turning of the shafts executes different lifting and pivot movements, to move both hoods (5), to lift, pivot, and deposit them onto the running rails. The lifting and pivot distance is dimensioned, so that the hoods move freely over each other, and over the end walls, within the movement range of the running rollers (16).

Description

The invention relates to a closed rail freight wagon with fixed end walls, a substantially flat loading floor and two covering the loading space, lying in one position in the closed position, sealed against one another by means of labyrinth seals and movable by means of rollers running on running rails, one above the other, which can be displaced in their upper parting Joints and a cover are provided and can be raised and swung out for displacement from their closed position into a displacement position by means of an actuating device.

Bei dieser vorbekannten Ausführung sind für die Laufrollen jeder Haube separate, parallel angeordnete Laufschienen vorgesehen, auf denen die Hauben verschoben werden können.DT-PS 923669 discloses rail freight cars with fixed end walls, the loading area of which is covered with hoods that can be moved by castors, of which hoods have at least one wall and roof sections, which can be extended to cover such a hood in the longitudinal direction of the hood To be able to move the vehicle. In this vehicle, a structure covering the loading area consists of at least two hoods lying next to one another in a closed position, which are supported with the aid of rollers and can be pushed into one another in order to simplify loading and unloading of the vehicle in such a way that, depending on the direction of displacement, these are pushed together Hoods the left or right hood can release the corresponding part of the loading area. The hoods of this previously known embodiment are longitudinally divided in their upper apex, the two halves of each hood being connected to one another by means of joints. In this known embodiment, separate, parallel rails are provided for the rollers of each hood, on which the hoods can be moved.

A disadvantage of this known design is that at least one hood has to be pushed under another hood to open it, so that difficulties can arise when opening this hood when cargo is lying against a hood. Another disadvantage of this embodiment is that the rail freight wagon can only be opened about half at a time, which leads to loading difficulties when loading and unloading long goods.

From DE-OS 29 10 799 a rail vehicle with extendable and movable hoods is also known, in which the hoods can be formed in their upper apex with a strip of flexible material, around which the two hood halves formed by the arrangement of the strip in one predetermined area can be pivoted against each other. In order to move these hoods, at least two support rails for two or more hoods are provided in the vicinity of a long side of the loading floor in a plane below the loading surface of the same. To cover the hoods, they are lifted out of their closed position and pivoted out by means of an actuating device and moved over the hood in the closed position. To expose the second half of the load space, both hoods must now be moved together over the first half of the load space that was already open. A disadvantage of this known design is the complicated design of the actuating device of the individual hoods, which requires several rails on each longitudinal side of the carriage and in some cases makes it necessary to move several hoods one above the other. Another disadvantage of this design is that the tensioning of the hood when it swings out due to the lack of joints does not ensure that the hood can be moved without contact.

From EP 00 11 195 a railway freight wagon is also known, which has a roof and side parts, each of which contains at least two movable wall parts. These wall parts are arranged in the closed position in a common plane and by means of an actuator, for. B. rotatably mounted guides, pivotable in a lying in front of the common closing plane and held in this plane in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The wall parts are connected to roof sections which each extend in the length of a wall part and form the vehicle roof as a whole. In the case of wall parts located in the plane of displacement, the roof sections have a position which permits longitudinal displacement. A disadvantage of this embodiment described above is the multi-joint system of each hood, which includes fundamental disadvantages with regard to the softness of the individual hoods in the closed position and when they are moved. For this reason, this embodiment is not discussed further in the present invention.

In Schließstellung steht die Haube mittels ihrer Stützfüße in Stützschienen des Untergestells, wodurch die Laufrollen entlastet werden.DE-OS 33 12 001 is also a rail freight wagon with end walls and a fixed center portal, an essentially flat loading floor and the loading space covering, in the closed position lying on one level and over rollers running on tracks, slidable hoods in their upper logs divided, provided with joints and an elastic cover and can be lifted and swung out for displacement from their closed position into a shift position by means of an actuating device, in which the central portal fixedly connected to the underframe is arranged without striving, each of which has the loading space between an end wall and the In the closed position, the cover covering the central portal is clamped to the bulkhead in a form-fitting and force-locking manner on its bulkhead-side longitudinal end, on its longitudinal sides below near the bulkhead-side longitudinal end with stop pieces in the direction of the bulkhead with play in front of stop cams on the frame men of the undercarriage of the railway freight wagon stands near its middle portal-side longitudinal end on its long sides below with cramps Front wall with play in front of and under anti-lift cams of the underframe, with the hood standing above support feet fixedly underneath on its long sides in support rails of the underframe, and the hoods being able to be pivoted out of the closed position by means of an actuating device with their rollers on the rails in the sliding position and are deductible. This construction of the hoods covering the loading space allows them to be optionally lifted and moved over the central portal and the hood which is in the closed position. The space within the clearance profile can be optimally used for the loading space. In the closed position of the hoods, the hoods are automatically clamped to the end walls and the base in the longitudinal direction of the car. As a result, the charge pressure acting on the end walls in the event of a buffer impact is largely transferred via the hoods to the undercarriage of the rail freight wagon. The end wall can thus be made lighter and its connection to the base frame can be made simpler. In the closed position, the hood stands in the support rails of the underframe by means of its support feet, which relieves the rollers.

A disadvantage of this known design is the opening of the cargo space limited by the central portal, the max. is the size of a hood, which means that the loading space can be opened less than half.

The object of the present invention was to find a closed railway freight wagon with hoods covering the cargo space, in which, based on the construction according to DE-OS 33 12 001, the cargo space can be opened more than in half.

This object is achieved in that on each carriage longitudinal side in the underframe each have a rotationally coupled actuating shaft, as well as a running track profile with two running tracks lying next to each other in different planes, and both hoods by rotating the actuating shafts simultaneously with different lifting and swiveling carriages on each one of the running rails can be raised, swung out and lowered, the lifting and swiveling path being dimensioned so large that the hoods can be freely moved one above the other and within the framework of the running path of the running rollers over the end walls.

In this case, a short support rail with its tread facing downward is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the carriage on the castor feet of the hoods carrying the castors, under which pivot arms with swivel castors at their free ends for pivoting the hoods are arranged on the actuating shaft.

According to the invention, the actuating shaft of each longitudinal side of the wagon is divided approximately into the middle of the wagon and these parts of the actuating shaft are rotatably supported at different distances from the longitudinal center of the wagon and in different planes, the two parts of each actuating shaft being rotatably connected to one another by fixed rocker arms and articulated brackets around them.

According to the invention, the running track profile is arranged continuously over the entire length of the carriage, each running track in the area in which the running rollers can be swung out and put down on the running rail by means of the swivel arms and swivel castors has a cutout for swiveling a flange of the running roller.

The lower running rail of the running rail profile, which is located towards the center of the longitudinal carriage, has cutouts for the long swivel arms which place the hood on the upper running rail, with an auxiliary rail filling the cutout of the running rails when the bonnet is open being firmly arranged on each of these long swivel arms.

The invention advantageously creates a rail freight car, the loading space of which can be opened in more than half. The hoods seal against the end walls as well as against each other by means of metallic labyrinth seals which are advantageous in rough railway operations. Simple actuating elements for pivoting the hoods into their sliding position ensure an economical design. Lifting both hood parts out of their closed position before moving ensures that the hood parts can be moved freely from any load. Annoying central posts or central portals were avoided.

The body of the railway freight wagon shown in the drawing consists essentially of the underframe 2 carried by the drives 1, the end walls 3 firmly connected to the underframe and the two hoods 4 and 5 covering the loading space. Each hood 4 and 5 is divided in its upper apex , provided with joints and a seal there and is in the closed position on labyrinth seals against the end walls 3 and sealed against each other on the base 2 of the car body. On the underframe 2 of the car body, an approximately U-shaped running track profile 6 is permanently arranged on each longitudinal side of the car. Each track profile 6 has an inner track 7 for the hood 4 and an outer track 8 for the hood 5. On each longitudinal side of the rail freight wagon, an actuating shaft 9 (10) is rotatably arranged in the underframe 2, which is either continuous or, as shown in the illustrated embodiment, divided approximately in the middle of the wagon and there via rocker arms 11 and 12 and tabs 13 that connect these to one another in an articulated manner connected, rotatably supported. The actuating shafts 9 and 10 can be rotated from an end wall end of the railway freight wagon by means of a handwheel via a gear (not shown) which is not essential to the invention. Each actuating shaft 9 (10) carries at least two swivel arms 14 or 15, at the free ends of which a swivel roller 16 or 17 is rotatably mounted about an axis arranged in the transverse direction of the carriage.

Each hood 4 and 5 carries on its lower longitudinal sides at least two roller feet 18 and 19, at the free ends of each roller 20 and 21 is rotatably mounted about an axis arranged in the transverse direction of the carriage. Each roller foot 18 and 19 further has near its free downward end each a short support rail 22 or 23 arranged in the longitudinal direction of the carriage, which in the closed position of the hoods 4 and 5 lies between the flanges of the rollers 16 and 17 thereon.

In order to pivot the hoods 4 and 5 from their closed position into the displacement position, the actuating shafts 9 (10) are rotated from the end wall by means of the actuating gear. During this rotation of the actuating shafts 9 (10), they lift the hoods 4 and 5 via the swivel arms 14 and 15 and the rollers 16 and 17 via the auxiliary rails 22 and 23 of the roller feet 18 and 19 from their closed position into the displacement position on the rails 7 and 8 of the running track profile 6. For pivoting the running rollers 20 and 21 onto the running tracks 7 and 8, these are exempt from the closed position of the hoods 4 and 5 to the extent that the wheel flanges of the running rollers 20 and 21 are pivoted onto the running tracks 7 and 8 without contact can be.

In this swiveled-out position of the hoods 4 and 5, they are carried by the support rails 22 and 23 of the roller feet 18 and 19 standing on the swivel rollers 16 and 17. A short auxiliary rail 25 is fixedly arranged on each swivel arm 14 and fills out a cutout of the running rail 7 in the running rail profile 6 which is necessary for pivoting the swivel arm 14 into the displacement position of the hood 5.

In the closed position, the hoods 4 and 5 lie with their lower longitudinal sides in a labyrinthine manner in a sealing profile 26, which is fixedly arranged on each longitudinal side of the wagon on the base frame 2, tight and relieving the rollers 20 and 21 and the support rollers 16 and 17 on the base frame 2 .

After pivoting the hoods 4 and 5 from their closed position into the sliding position on the rails 7 and 8, the hood 4 can be released under the hood 5, one half of the carriage, or the hood 5 over the hood 4, the other half of the carriage, and also both Hoods are moved together as far over the respective adjacent end wall 3 as the available path of the rollers 20 and 21 on the rails 7 and 8 permits.

This displacement path of the hoods 4 and 5 is selected by a corresponding arrangement of the roller feet 18 and 19 on the hoods 4 and 5 so that in each case about half the distance between the end walls 3 of the adjacent railway freight wagons can be covered in coupled rail freight wagons, so that one more is made possible as a half opening of the loading space of the rail freight wagon.

Lifting safeguards not essential to the invention and not shown in the drawing and not described in more detail secure the hoods 4 and 5 both in the closed position and in the shifted position against unintentional lifting.

Devices not essential to the invention and not described in more detail on the rollers 20 and 21 and the rails 7 and 8 fix the hoods 4 and 5 in the displacement position before their closed position, so that operating errors when closing the hoods 4 and 5 are avoided.
