Claims (9)

  1. Releasable flexible corner connection device for a heddle frame of a loom, comprising at least two clamping surfaces (13, 14) attached to a frame post (2), a clamping mechanism (3) flexibly mounted in a hollow profile (11) of a frame batten (1) and foreseen with two opposing clamping jaws (33, 34) designed to match the said clamping surfaces, and a means of tightening (19) designed to clamp the said jaws against the said clamping surfaces in a way that the said mechanism (3) is fixed removably to the post, characterised in that the clamping mechanism (3) comprises two rigid elements (17, 18) extending longitudinally one above the other in the hollow profile (11) of the batten, with the said jaws (33, 34) located respectively at one end of each of these said elements, the other end of these said elements form a pair of clamping heads (23, 24) inside the hollow profile, in that at least one elastomer element (27) is compressed between each clamping head and an upper surface (28) and a lower surface (29) of the hollow profile and in that the said rigid elements are connected via a middle articulation (21 and 22) in a way that their clamping heads (23, 24) move away from each other and thus compress the said elastomer element (27) when the jaws are drawn together.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the said clamping surfaces (13, 14) are formed by the opposing surfaces of a protuberance (12) of the post (2) and are sloped in the direction of the batten (1).
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the said protuberance (12) presents two parallel edges (16) laterally adjoining at least one of the said rigid elements (17, 18).
  4. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the jaws (33, 34) have a thickness (C) greater than that (D) of the rest of the said rigid elements (17, 18) and are located outside the hollow profile (11), the means of clamping being a screw (19) passing through one jaw and screwing into the other.
  5. Device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the middle articulation is composed of an arc profile (21) on one surface of one of the said rigid elements (17), engaging in a cup profile (22) in the opposite surface of the other element (18).
  6. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that one surface of each of the said rigid elements (17, 18) is fixed by adhesion to the elastomer element (27) and presents a longitudinal concave profile (25, 26) in close proximity to the articulation and a longitudinal convex profile in the clamping head zone (23, 24).
  7. Device according to claim 6, characterised in that the elastomer element (27) is fixed to the batten (1) with at least one rivet (37) or with a screw passing through the said element (27) opposite the said concave profile (25, 26).
  8. Device according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the elastomer element (27) is common to both rigid elements (17, 18) and envelopes the respective clamping heads (23, 24) which are pressed together by the elasticity of the elastomer element.
  9. Device according to claims 6 to 8, characterised in that a sheet of elastomer (30) is inserted between the lateral surfaces of the clamping mechanism (3) and the opposite lateral surfaces of the hollow profile (11).
