Abstract

It is known to set up installation units having at least one sanitary fitting by means of height-adjustable foot supports on an uncovered floor. These installation units are clad on their front side by at least one covering element, the lower horizontal edge of which maintains a distance from the uncovered floor, so that outwardly there is a gap from a cavity behind the covering element. In order that, for example when placing the screed on the uncovered floor, the screed cannot flow undesirably through the gap into the cavity behind the covering element mentioned, to close off this gap (22) according to the invention an angled-off partitioning element (23) is fastened height-adjustably to the supporting frame (12) of the installation unit (10), preferably behind the covering element (20). The horizontal section (25) of the partitioning element (23) overlaps the projecting parts of the footplates (17), in order to avoid any damage to the welded or foil sheetings, used for dampproofing, by the sharp edges and borders of the footplates (17). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to an installation block with at least one sanitary body, wherein the installation block can be supported on an unfinished floor using height-adjustable footrests and contains at least one cover element on its front side, the lower horizontal edge of which runs at a distance from the footrests, so that a gap to the outside an assembly space delimited by the cover element at the bottom.

Such an installation block is e.g. B. known from the German utility model DE-U-88 00 349. This installation block has a frame frame in the form of an inverted U, on the two vertical parts of which a support frame is attached. The support frame serves to hold a sanitary body, for. B. a toilet bowl and behind the support frame there is a mounting space for a drain elbow for the waste water from the toilet bowl below the frame. The front of this installation block is closed by two cover elements, at the top by an expanded metal grid attached to the frame and at the bottom by a steel plate with slot bridge perforations connected to this grid, which also serves as an abutment plate for the sanitary unit. During installation, this installation block is made using its height-adjustable footrests supported on the respective raw floor, leaving a gap between the latter and the lower horizontal edge of the mentioned steel plate, through which the screed can flow into the assembly space in an undesirable manner during the manufacture of the floor. This not only results in a loss of material, but there is also no clean finish to the screed in the block area, but this is necessary for the subsequent moisture-proof insulation by means of welding or foil sheets. In addition, the screed flowing through the mentioned gap can create an undesirable sound bridge to the supply and disposal lines in the assembly room, e.g. B. form the drain pipe for the waste water from the respective sanitary basin.

The invention has for its object to remedy the above shortcomings and to further develop an installation block of the type described in such a way that after the installation block has been erected on the bare floor during the subsequent application of the screed or the like, a clean finish on the installation block and sound bridges result Supply and disposal lines in the assembly room are reliably avoided.

According to the invention, the above object is achieved in that the installation block is provided with a height-adjustable, angled partition element for the gap to the assembly space, the horizontal portion of which overlaps the protruding parts of the footplates of the footrests. By means of this partitioning element, the gap to the assembly space can be closed and the screed or the like can be used up to the partitioning element, which laterally adjoins adjacent wall sections of the relevant one Wet room is cursed. This results in a clean finish of the screed in the installation block area and also avoids the undesirable sound bridges which occur in the prior art. Another advantage of the invention is that the protruding parts of the footplates of the footrests are overlapped by the horizontal section of the partitioning element, which eliminates the risk that, for example when laying the welding or foil sheets in the course of moisture-proof insulation, these sheets on the sharp edges of the foot plates are sheared off, so that the damp room insulation would then have corresponding leaks. As a rule, the partitioning element will be made from an angled sheet with a rust protection coating, but it can also be a plastic part. The vertical section of the partitioning element is preferably arranged behind the cover element of the installation block, but it can also lie in front of this. The vertical and horizontal section of the partitioning element usually enclose an angle of approximately 90 ° .

Embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims. Thus, the horizontal section of the partitioning element is preferably provided on its free longitudinal edge with a bevel running obliquely against the raw floor. This further improves the protection of the welding or foil sheets to be installed in the course of the damp room insulation against damage to angular parts in the installation block area.

The above-mentioned protection against injury can be further increased if the horizontal section of the partitioning element also has a bevel at its transverse edges, which runs obliquely against the bare floor.

If the installation block is one with a support frame resting on the footrests, the partition element is expediently arranged with its vertical section behind the cover element on the support frame. For this purpose, corresponding vertical elongated holes for receiving the fastening screws are provided in the vertical section of the partitioning element. In addition, the horizontal section of the partitioning element can be screwed onto the footplates of the footrests.

The installation block chosen as an exemplary embodiment 10 has a frame frame 11 in the form of an inverted U, on the two vertical parts (legs) of which a supporting frame 12 is fastened, of which only a lower part is shown in FIG. 2. This lower part of the support frame 12 comprises two vertical rails 13 with a substantially U-shaped cross section, at the lower ends of which a cross member 14 is welded. Height-adjustable footrests 15 are arranged at the outer ends of this cross member 14. These footrests 15 each have height-adjustable threaded bolts 16 in the cross member 14, at the lower ends of which base plates 17 are welded for attachment to the respective raw floor. From Fig. 1 it is clear that these foot plates 17 have over the floor plan of the installation block 10 outwardly protruding parts which are covered in the course of moisture-proof insulation of welding or foil webs (not shown).

The support frame 12 serves to hold a sanitary body, not shown, for. B. a toilet bowl. This sanitary unit is supplied with rinsing water from a cistern located within the frame frame (11) via a rinsing pipe. Behind the lower part of the support frame 12 shown in FIG. 2 there is a so-called assembly space for a drain elbow (not shown) for the waste water from the sanitary basin below the frame frame 11. This elbow is held by a pipe clamp 18 which is attached to the support frame 12.

The front of the installation block 10 is closed off by a cover element 19 fastened to the frame frame 11 in the form of a relatively thin-walled sheet metal plate with slot bridge perforations and a second cover element 20 in the form of a relatively solid steel plate 20, which are also slot bridge perforations contains. The cover element 19 extends approximately over the height of the frame frame 11 and the lower cover element 20 in the form of the steel plate serves on the one hand as an abutment for the sanitary body and on the other hand it essentially covers the above-mentioned assembly space behind the support frame 12 from the outside. The fastening screws for the lower cover element 20 are screwed into holes which, for. B. in the lower cross member 14 and an upper cross member of the support frame 12, not shown. For this purpose, the cover element 20 is provided with corresponding bores 21 for these fastening screws. When the lower cover element 20 is mounted, a gap 22 (FIG. 1) to the above-mentioned assembly space behind the lower part of the support frame 12 remains free. Through this gap 22 screed or the like would undesirably flow during floor production. To prevent this, according to the invention an angled partition element 23 is provided for closing the gap 22. This partitioning element 23 has a vertical and a horizontal section 24 or 25, which enclose an angle of approximately 90 ° . The horizontal section 25 is provided on its free longitudinal edge with a further bend 26 which, when the partitioning element 23 is mounted, runs obliquely against the respective raw floor. In a variant not shown, the horizontal section 25 of the partition element 23 can also have corresponding bevels on its transverse edges. The vertical section 24 of the partition element 23 contains two vertical elongated holes 27 for the passage of two fastening screws, as a result of which the partition element 23 can be attached to the support frame 12 in a height-adjustable manner.

The dimensions of the horizontal section 25 of the Partitioning element 23 are selected so that this section 25 overlaps the protruding parts of the foot plates 17 after assembly (FIG. 3). The sealing element 23 is fastened to the support frame 12 behind the lower cover element 20 during assembly, it being possible for this purpose to use the two screws to be screwed into the cross member 14, which also fix the lower cover element 20 to the cross member 14. The horizontal section 25 can also be screwed to the foot plates 17 of the footrests 15 and for this purpose the section 25 is provided with two bores 28 for the passage of these screws (not shown).

Folienbahnen durch die relativ scharfen Ränder und Kanten der Fußplatten 17 nicht beschädigt werden können.3 shows the fully assembled installation block 10, the partitioning element 23 closing the gap 22 (FIG. 1) to the assembly space and at the same time covering the protruding parts of the foot plates 17 of the footrests 15, so that the welding or Sheets of film cannot be damaged by the relatively sharp edges and edges of the foot plates 17.

The cover element 23 can also be a plastic part. In Fig. 3 the upper edge of the bare floor and the upper edge of the finished floor are indicated on the right.

The invention is generally applicable with advantage to all installation blocks which have a front paneling which extends almost to the footrests but does not form a complete closure to the bare floor, which is also not possible due to the required height adjustment of the installation block 10.
