Claims (10)

  1. A switch device comprising a casing (1) having a fixing base (11), at least a pole formed by at least one contact-holder module (6) comprising at least a bridge (63) carrying mobile contacts (61, 62) which cooperate with two fixed contacts (41, 51) each connected to a connecting terminal (48, 58) by an electrical conductor (4, 5), and at least a tripping mechanism (7, 8, 10) adapted to move the mobile contact bridge (63) with respect to the fixed contacts (41, 51),
    characterized by the fact that the casing (1) forms for each pole a channel (14, 15) adapted to receive two movible closing modules (2, 3) made of an insulative material and each carrying one of the two fixed contacts (41, 51) and one of the two connecting terminals (48, 58), said two modules (2, 3) being disposed on either side of the contact-holder module (6) and each comprising two side walls (22, 32) and an upper apron (21, 31) carrying on its inner face the fixed contacts (41, 51) and delimiting a switching chamber (23, 33) with the contact-holder module (6) and the fixing base (11).
  2. Device according to claim 1,
    characterized in that the fixing base (11) is fast with insulative walls (13, 18) forming a plurality of parallel channels (14, 15), and that a plurality of modules (2, 3) each have walls (22 or 32) defining an internal chamber (23 or 33) forming a switching chamber and inserted between two neighbouring walls of the casing so as to be adjacent thereto.
  3. Device according to anyone of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that each of the modules (2 or 3) comprises arc extinguisher means (45, 46 or 55, 56) insulated between said module (2 or 3) and at least one wall (13, 18) of said casing (1).
  4. Device according to anyone of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that said conductor (4 or 5) carried by a module (2 or 3) has two arc extinguisher loops (45, 46 or 55, 56) each pressed against one side surface of the module (2 or 3) facing a wall (18) of the casing (1) and joined together by a part (42) carrying said fixed contact (41 or 51) and positioned in said chamber (23, 33) of said module forming said switching chamber.
  5. Device according to anyone of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that the part (42 or 52) of said conductor carrying said fixed contact (41 or 51) is extended within said chamber (23, 33) of said module by a tongue (421 or 521) constituting the deflector on which arcing occurs.
  6. Device according to anyone of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that a module (3) associated with a pole carries a magnetic and/or thermal tripping assembly (7, 8).
  7. Device according to anyone of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that, for each pole, it comprises a metal deflector (49) on the base (11) of said casing which forms the bottom of said channels (14, 15).
  8. Device according to anyone of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that the walls of said casing (1) comprise means (182, 185) for centering and positioning each module-mounted tripping assembly (7, 8).
  9. Device according to anyone of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that said two modules (2, 3) associated with the same pole are inserted in two opposite channels (14, 15) of said casing (1) by movement in translation in opposite directions.
  10. Device according to anyone of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that said contact-holder module (6) comprises a support (64) actuated by a solenoid (10) and plungers (65) for operating the contact bridges (63) actuated by a mechanism (9).
