Abstract

A microwave container for heating food in a microwave oven is made of an electrically conductive material, in particular aluminium. An diesen Rand schließen sich vier seitliche, durch Schlitze getrennte, vom Behälter schräg abstehende Wandabschnitte an, die zur Handhabung, zur Transportsicherung und zur Vermeidung von Funkenüberschlägen im Mikrowellenofen dienen. Aufgrund seiner Ausbildung mit einer ununterbrochen umlaufenden Seitenwand hat auch dieser Deckel die Nachteile eines relativ großen Materialaufwandes und einer herstellungstechnisch relativ aufwendigen, dreidimensionalen Form, die eine hohe Fertigungsgenauigkeit für einen exakten Sitz auf dem Behälterrand erfordert.From the European patent application EP 0 299 237 A1 a microwave container with a slip lid made of plastic has also become known.
