Abstract

In order to lay rails (2, 3, 4) separated by a minimal gap without altering the width of the track, pairs of sleepers (9, 10) are introduced under the outer rows of rails (2, 4) and under the adjacent rails (3.1 and 3.2) of the central line of rails (3), in the space between the rails (3.1, 3.2), and they are butted there so that the joints (11) of successive pairs of sleepers (9 .k, 10.k and 9.k+1, 10.k+1) are alternately located on both sides of an axis (12) which extends perpendicular to the axis of the sleepers between the rows of rails (3.1 and 3.2). The points (14) of at least three successive long crosspieces (9.k, 10.k+1, 9.k+2) which pass under the axis (12) are firmly linked to each other by elements of connection (13).

Description

Verfahren zur spurstabilen Verlegung von mindestens drei mit geringem Abstand voneinander verlegten GleisenProcess for the stable laying of at least three tracks laid at a short distance from each other
PatentbeschreibungPatent description
The invention relates to a method for track-stable laying of at least three tracks spaced a short distance apart as described in the preamble of claim 1.
Such tracks, which are laid at a slight variable distance from one another, occur primarily in the track sections adjoining switches and crossings in the entrance area of train stations. The distances (track distance minus track width) between adjacent rails of the continuous main track and the connecting or branch track inevitably change between a maximum value and the value O. From a certain minimum rail distance, the arrangement of separate individual thresholds for each track no longer possible, since with the remaining sleeper length the edge distance is no longer sufficient for the correct attachment of the rail fastening means. The sleepers must then be extended at least into the area between the rails of the adjacent connecting track. Since the sleepers also serve to secure the track gauge, a sleeper cannot be separated between the two rails of a track without additional track-keeping means being attached. This tracking was previously achieved by running every or every second sleeper under three adjacent tracks. The disadvantage of this solution is that very long sleepers, which are very complex to operate, are required and, in addition, the two adjacent main tracks must be shut down when installing a connecting or branch track.
The object of the invention was to develop a method which allows the sleepers to be divided and laid in such a way that the length of the sleepers can be limited to less than the maximum length which occurs in turnout sleepers and only one when installing a connecting or branch track of the two main tracks needs to be shut down.
The object is achieved by the method for laying and connecting the sleepers specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. In an expedient embodiment of the method it is proposed, according to subclaim 2, to use customary superstructure materials which arise in railway operations as track-holding connecting means. The method according to the invention can be used regardless of the material from which the sleepers are made (concrete, steel, wood).
Es zeigen:The invention is illustrated by FIGS. 1 to 3. Show it:
Fig. 1 die schematisch dargestellte Aufsicht auf erfindungs¬ gemäß verlegte Schwellen unter zwei Stammgleisen und einem zwischen ihnen verlaufenden Verbin¬ dungsgleis.1 shows the schematically represented top view of sleepers laid according to the invention under two main tracks and a connecting track running between them.
Außerhalb des Bereiches 1 sind normale Gleisschwellen 7 oder unter zwei Gleisen durchlaufende Schwellen 8 verwendbar.2 and 3 the area between the rails of the connecting track with sleeper joint and track-holding connecting means, FIG. 2 in view, FIG. 3 in supervision. In a section 1 the connecting track 3 runs between the main tracks 2 and 4 with very small variable distances 5 and 6 to the main tracks. Outside the area 1, normal track sleepers 7 or sleepers 8 running under two tracks can be used.
In area 1, the sleepers 9, 10 are pushed between the rails 3.1 and 3.2 of the middle connecting track 3, successive joints 11 being alternately offset laterally to an axis 12 running between the rails 3.1, 3.2, which expediently overlaps the axis of the connecting track . The three tracks 2, 3. 4 are subjected to threshold pairs of thresholds 9, 10 of different lengths, with a short threshold 9.k + l, 10.k + 2 following a long threshold 9.k, 10.k + l and a long threshold 9.k are each associated with a short threshold 10.k and a short threshold 9.k + l with a long threshold 10.k + l.
The stabilization of the track of the track 3, between the rails 3.1 and 3.2 of which each threshold has an impact 11, is achieved by connecting means 13 arranged in axis 12 between the rails 3.1 and 3.2 of the connecting track 3. The connecting means 13 in each case firmly connect at least three successive heads 14 of the longer sleepers 9.k, 9.k + 2 and 10.k-l, 10.k + l underneath them by suitable known means.
An example of such known connecting means 13 are bars 16 made of rail sections, which are screwed and connected to the heads 14 of the sleepers with a surface material 15 which is customary in the railroad industry - in the example, ribbed plate, hook screw, tension clamp and sleeper screw.
