Description

The present invention relates to a set of facade cladding, comprising rectangular panels, planes as a whole, and members for fixing said panels to a support structure.

In order to dress the facades of a building, both in the new construction sector and in the renovation sector, rectangular panels are generally used, flat as a whole, but which may have undulations, made of metal or plastic . These panels, which can be of any size, are connected to a support structure, such as a wall or a frame, by fastening members, firmly fixed to the support structure, and which can be constituted by vertical beams and horizontal. The panels are usually fixed to these fixing members by screwing or stapling. Efforts are usually made to make the fasteners not very visible, and not very accessible to atmospheric agents.

The panels can be provided internally with a layer of thermal and / or sound insulation, and provision is generally made for a layer of ventilated air between the panels and the wall.

Ce système exige un certain soin pour la mise en place, et procure une étanchéité imparfaite.FR-A-1,180,782 has proposed panels formed from a sheet whose edges are folded, one of the edges carrying planar extensions, parallel to the central zone of the panel and moving away from it, these extensions having holes for the passage of fixing nails, while the opposite edge of the panel has similar extensions, but devoid of holes, and arranged to penetrate passages, located between the extensions provided with holes of an adjacent panel , these extensions without holes constituting sorts of lugs intended to hold the panel in place relative to the adjacent panel. This system requires some care for installation, and provides an imperfect seal.

The present invention aims to provide a set of facade cladding of the type just indicated, which has a better seal and is easier to set up, while remaining at a low price. returns both for obtaining each of the panels and fasteners, as for their transport and especially their installation. This covering set must also allow aesthetic effects, by combining standard modular elements of several dimensions, allowing poses with aligned or offset joints. Of course, it is desirable that the assembly has good resistance to weathering and fire.

To enable this result to be achieved, the invention provides a set of cladding for facades, comprising rectangular panels, planes as a whole, and members for fixing said panels to a support structure, each panel being formed from a single sheet metal part, folded to form a planar, rectangular central zone, and four planar edges inclined with respect to this central zone,
  • a first of these edges carrying a first planar extension, parallel to the central zone and deviating therefrom, and provided with means of connection with the fixing members,
  • a second of these edges, opposite the first, carrying a second planar extension, parallel to the central zone and deviating from the latter,
  • means for hanging two panels adjacent to each other, these means comprising holes on the first edge and lugs on the second edge,

characterized in that the second planar extension is designed to be superimposed on the first planar extension and carries its face away from the plane of the central zone, lugs which, during assembly, penetrate into the holes of the first planar extension of an adjacent panel to cooperate with the opposite face of this planar extension.

As can be understood, the first extension of each panel is placed between the second extension of the neighboring panel and the fixing members, while, by its second extension, it in turn covers a neighboring panel, somewhat in the manner of roof tiles.

Preferably, the means of connection with the fixing members, as well as the hooking holes and lugs, are of the type with positioning with lateral displacement, the amplitude and the direction of displacement being the same for the fixings and the hooks, so that the installation of a panel on fastening means and on an adjacent panel already in place is done in one movement, and the fastening means carry locking means to prevent reverse movement of the panel.

It is understood that the assembly times of the covering assembly are extremely reduced, since only one movement is necessary to fix a panel both on the fixing members and on the adjacent panel.

According to a first embodiment, the means of connection with the fixing members consist of holes made in said first extension, and designed to be crossed by lugs carried by the fixing members.

According to another embodiment, the means of connection with the fixing members comprise lugs carried by said planar extension, and designed to penetrate holes provided in the fixing members. In either case, if the installation is done with lateral displacement, it is clear that the dimensions of the holes, in the lateral direction, must be calculated to allow the corresponding movement of the pins.

Preferably, the fastening members comprise vertical profiles carrying, as the case may be, lugs or holes, in two vertical lines, the spacing between lugs and successive holes corresponding to the vertical dimension of a panel, or a simple multiple of it. In this case, the two extensions will correspond to the upper and lower sides of the panel, the first extension preferably being the upper extension, so as to prevent rain infiltration inside, always in the manner of roof tiles.

Advantageously, the vertical profiles which we have just spoken of have a depressed central zone between the lug lines or holes, and the edges of the panels which do not carry an extension are a little wider than the other edges, and penetrate into said zone. central depressed, and blocking means clamp the outer part of these edges between themselves and the blank of said depressed area.

There is thus obtained, in a simple manner, a channel for the flow of rainwater, constituted by the depressed central zone of the vertical profiles. On the other hand, the locking means can be used as elements for masking the joints.

The invention will now be explained in more detail with the aid of examples illustrated with the drawings, among which:

Figure 1 is a plan view of the sheet blank from which a panel is made.

Figure 2 is a partial elevational view, with parts broken away, of a finished covering assembly, comprising several panels.

Figure 4 is a horizontal sectional view along the line IV-IV of Figure 2, showing the edges of a panel and a fixing member.

Figure 5 est une coupe horizontale agrandie selon la ligne V-V de la figure 2.Figure 5 is an enlarged horizontal section along the line V-V in Figure 2.

Figure 6 is a partial view of a panel, showing the first edge, in a second embodiment.

Figure 7 est une vue en coupe, analogue à la figure 4, dans le mode de réalisation de la figure 6.Figure 7 is a sectional view, similar to Figure 4, in the embodiment of Figure 6.

Figure 8 est une vue en perspective partielle de l'organe de fixation de la figure 3.Figure 8 is a partial perspective view of the fixing member of Figure 3.

Figures 9 to 11 are examples of arrangement of panels for cladding facades.

The blank shown in FIG. 1 comprises a flat central part, which is connected by fold lines 2, 3, 4, 5 to parts 6, 7, 8, 9 intended to constitute the inclined edges. One of these parts 6 is itself connected via a fold line 10 to a part 11 intended to constitute the first extension. The part 8 intended to form the opposite edge is also connected, by a fold line 12, to a part 13 intended to form the second extension.

It is clear that the fold lines 2 to 5, 10 and 12 are not necessarily visible on the flank itself before folding has been carried out.

The part intended to constitute the first extension 11 has two holes 14 and 15, rectangular and identical, and two pear-shaped holes 16 and 17, the function of which will be seen below.

Referring now to FIG. 2, it can be seen that the blank has been folded along the fold lines 2 to 5, to form edges to which the same references have been given, and which separate the central panel 1 from the inclined edges 6 to 9. The edges 6 and 8 were folded in opposite directions along the fold lines 10 and 12, becoming the edges provided with the same marks, so that the extensions 11 and 13 are in planes parallel to that of the central part 1, but offset with respect to the latter plane.

Par ailleurs, on a soudé sur la face interne du prolongement 13, c'est-à-dire sur la face qui est du côté opposé à la partie centrale, deux ergots 18 et 19, dont l'un est représenté en coupe à la figure 5.Furthermore, two lugs 18 and 19, one of which is shown in cross section, have been welded to the internal face of the extension 13, that is to say on the face which is on the side opposite the central part. figure 5.

The fixing member 20, consisting of an aluminum profile for example, comprises a central body 21, crossed by fixing holes 22, by which it is mounted, by means of screws not shown and iron 23 on a wall 24. The central body 21, of generally planar shape, carries two perpendicular wings 25 and 26. These wings are approximately flat and contained in the same plane. However, they have a step 27, 28 at a certain distance from their end, so that the latter is further from the wall 24 than the central part, which is depressed. In addition, the central part 21 has, opposite the fixing holes 22, a longitudinal groove 29, with parallel edges, and in which a wing of a locking piece 30 is jammed. Each of the wings 25, 26 carries, near its end, a series of nipples 31, 32, regularly spaced, and which each carry a disc 33, 34, parallel to the flank of the wing 25, 26. The diameter of the discs 33, 34 is very slightly less than that of the wide part of the pear-shaped holes 16, 17, while the diameter of the studs 31, 32 is slightly less than the width of the narrowed part of the same holes 16, 17. It will be appreciated that it is possible to make the discs 33, 34 penetrate inside the holes 16, 17, then by lateral displacement, to immobilize the panel, the stud 31, 32 being in the narrowed part of the hole 16, 17.

The presence of the discs 32 and 33, previously placed on the lower panel, does not hinder the establishment of the new panel, since they are in the space created by the shape of the inclined edge 8, and in part under the central part 1 of the panel, which is spaced from the plane containing these disks, as can be seen in FIG. 4.

The lateral edges 7 and 9 are, thanks to the shape of the sidewall, a little longer than the upper and lower edges 6 and 8. The difference corresponds to the importance of the step 27, 28 of the fixing member.

Une nervure, en saillie sur le corps, est enfoncée dans la rainure 29.After the panels have been put in place by lateral displacement, the blocking piece is forcibly mounted on the groove 29 of the fixing member. It has a body in the shape of a trapezoid, the edges of which immobilize the edges 7 and 9 of two adjacent panels in the horizontal direction, thus preventing lateral movement in the opposite direction to that which took place during assembly. A rib projecting from the body is pressed into the groove 29.

Figures 6 to 8 relate to a variant of the assembly just described.

L'organe de fixation, au lieu de porter des tétons 31, 32, eux-mêmes porteurs de disques 33, 34, présente une série de trous 42, 43, pratiqués à intervalles réguliers sur ses ailes 25, 26.This variant only affects the upper extension 11, so that the panel is not shown in its entirety in FIG. 6. The difference is that the extension 11, of smaller dimensions, no longer has the pear-shaped holes. 16 and 17. On its internal face, the extension 11 carries lugs 40, 41, similar to lugs 18 and 19 carried by the internal face of the lower extension 13. The fixing member, instead of carrying pins 31, 32 , themselves carrying discs 33, 34, has a series of holes 42, 43, made at regular intervals on its wings 25, 26.

It is understood that the dimensions of the holes 42, 43, as well as the lugs 40, 41, as well as their dimensions, are calculated so that one can still mount a panel by a single movement of lateral movement. For additional safety, a reinforcement piece 44, 45 is provided in the lower part of the wing 25, 26 of the fixing member, the reinforcement pieces constitute gussets into which the free end of the lug penetrates. 40, 41. The deformation thereof, under the effect of an external force tending, for example, to separate the panel from the wall and from the fixing member, is thus prevented or made more difficult.

It is clear that such reinforcing parts can also be provided near the holes 14, 15 to prevent deformation of the lugs 18 and 19.

The two embodiments which have just been described provide approximately the same advantages. Note however that the panel of Figure 6 is a little lighter than that of Figures 1 to 5. On the other hand, the arrangement of Figure 2 allows, when installing each panel, to visually check if the previous panel has been correctly positioned on the fixing member.

Figures 9 to 11 illustrate different methods of installing panels according to the invention, Figure 9 shows aligned joints and Figure 10 offset joints. Figure 11 shows the use of panels of different dimensions, the large panels having a width twice that of the small panels.

It is clear that many other alternative arrangements are possible, while retaining the advantages of the structure of the invention.

The vacuum resulting from the offset between the plane of the central part 1 and that of the extensions 11 and 13 can, of course, be taken advantage of in order to have there layers of thermal and / or sound insulating material, or else materials intended to improve fire resistance.

It will also be appreciated that the panels, before mounting, are stackable one inside the other, which reduces transport costs.
