Description

The invention relates to a post of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1 and a method for manufacturing.

Such posts are known and are used in particular for anchoring children's play equipment to adventure playgrounds.

The well-known climbing frames, swings and the like made of wood tend to rot after some time, in particular with regard to the post parts arranged in the ground. Surface coating and / or impregnation of the post wood can slow this process down. For this reason, wooden posts impregnated with boiler pressure have long been used as anchoring elements.

In the meantime, however, it has been found that impregnating agents are washed out of the wood over time. In order to avoid health hazards, the use of non-impregnated wooden posts as anchoring elements for children's play equipment is increasingly recommended or even ordered. Non-impregnated woods are much less suitable for ground anchoring. The parts anchored in the ground are difficult to control or treat. With additional insect infestation, there can be premature digestion processes, which further reduces the stability of the posts and puts the children at risk of accidents.

The invention has for its object to provide a post for anchoring children's play equipment, which is superior in its properties in terms of rot resistance wooden post, but is otherwise equivalent to the wooden post.

This object is achieved with the characterizing features of claim 1.

The invention is based on the knowledge that the post is formed at least in two parts and that the part of the post to be introduced into the ground is made of plastic, in particular recycled plastic, and is connected to a post part made of wood, in particular non-impregnated wood. The connection is made by means of profiles, preferably made of hard metal, in particular iron, since these are suitable for creating a stable connection between plastic and wooden elements of the most varied nature in terms of material and / or cross-sectional shape.

In a preferred embodiment of the post, a stable and at the same time secure connection is produced, with an anchoring profile arranged in a recess in the end faces of the plastic and wooden elements. The anchoring profile can be firmly connected to the wooden element and locked by at least one cross hole in the anchoring profile. The wooden element has at least one hole which is flared at the ends. A screw is screwed into this hole and is guided through the cross hole in the anchoring profile. A cap covers the flared hole on the surface of the wooden element. This reduces the risk of injury from the screw connection and the connection between the plastic and wooden element is not visible.

The anchoring profile preferably consists of an iron material, such as St37, and can be designed, for example, as a round bar or as a flat iron. The width of the flat iron can either match the width of the plastic and wooden elements to be connected or be smaller, so that the flat iron does not appear on the surface. The recesses are milled or drilled in the wood and plastic elements, for example. The anchoring profile is preferably clamped, screwed or glued to the plastic element.

The anchoring profile is preferably heated before being introduced into the plastic element and then pressed into the recess, which preferably has a smaller cross section than the anchoring profile. It is also favorable to press the lower part of an anchoring profile, which is to be introduced into the plastic element, directly into a plastic element without a recess or to cast it in during the production of the plastic element. In the latter case, the plastic element can already be connected to the anchoring profile at the factory, so that the assembly effort at the site is reduced in this way. Regardless of the type of insertion, the connection that results from the melting and subsequent curing of the plastic in the area of the anchoring profile is resilient and secure. The upper part of the anchoring profile to be inserted in the wooden element has at least one transverse bore. This transverse bore can be provided with a thread in order to further increase the strength of the connection in an advantageous manner.

In a further preferred embodiment of the post, the connection between plastic and wooden elements is made by means of at least two profiles which are arranged on opposite parts of the post and the wooden beam elements in the connection area and which each have at least one transverse bore through which a laterally into the wooden beam or protrudes into the post element driven bolt manufactured. This results in a connection area which is particularly resilient with regard to transverse forces.

In a preferred method for producing a post element according to the invention, the recycled plastic is poured or pressed around the anchoring element into a mold, the anchoring element being held essentially concentrically in the mold and projecting beyond the mold by a predetermined length. This length corresponds to the length by which the anchoring element should protrude into the wooden post part.

This method has the particular advantage that the recycled plastic also cures completely and uniformly and firmly towards the anchoring element, since this is thermally conductive and therefore, following the anchoring element, there are similar curing conditions to the external surface. A particularly good strength in the transition area between the anchoring element and the plastic part can be achieved if the surface of the anchoring element, which is made in particular of steel, is structured, that is to say has recesses and elevations into which the plastic can engage during the encapsulation or encapsulation.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, two profiles are connected to one another by means of a base plate which runs between the end faces of the wood and plastic elements. The profiles can only partially or completely enclose the post, which means, depending on the profile shape, post shoes or double plug-in shoes are formed.

According to a further advantageous development of the invention, a protruding, in particular mandrel or flat profile-like anchoring element is attached to the surface of the base plate of the profile facing the wooden element. The resilience of such a connection is additionally improved, in particular with regard to transverse forces.

The wooden element is placed on the profile with the protruding anchoring element. The anchoring element either acts directly as a spit, which pierces the end face of the wooden element when ramming in, or the wooden element is already provided with a hole into which the anchoring element engages. In the latter case in particular, an additional locking of the anchoring element is advantageous. For this purpose, the anchoring element is preferably provided with at least one transverse bore through which the locking bolt to be driven laterally through the profile into the wooden element projects. Because the bolt locks the profile and the anchoring element, and both are attached at the same height relative to the base plate, it is easy to find the transverse bore in the anchoring element.

The profiles and the anchoring element preferably consist of a metal, in particular an iron material, because of the required hardness. In the case of metallic base material, there is advantageously the possibility of making the connection between the anchoring element and the profile as by shrinking on.

The post shown in FIG. 1 essentially consists of an element 1 made of recycled plastic to be anchored at least partially in the ground, a wooden element 5 and a round metal rod as an anchoring profile 12. The anchoring profile 12 is inserted into the element 1 made of recycled plastic heated and either inserted into a recess 3 in the plastic element 1 or pressed into the plastic element 1.

The cutout 3 preferably has a smaller cross section than the anchoring profile 12 in order to enable an even better connection, which arises as a result of the melting and the subsequent hardening of the plastic in the region of the anchoring profile 12. The end face 6 of the wooden element 5 is formed with a recess 7 receiving the upper part of the anchoring profile 12. This upper part of the anchoring profile 12 to be inserted in the wooden element 5 is provided with two transverse bores 15 through which a screw connection 10 is guided in order to firmly connect the wooden element 5 to the anchoring profile 12. This connection is explained in detail with reference to FIG. 2. A perforated plastic plate 16 is arranged between the wooden 5 and the plastic element 1. From this area, the water present in or on the surface of the wooden element 5 can run off freely. This prevents the post from rotting.

It can be seen from FIG. 2 that the wooden element 5 is provided with holes 9 corresponding to the transverse bores 15 in the anchoring profile 12, which bores can be produced before or even after the anchoring profile 12 has been introduced into the wooden element 5. The holes 9 are flared at both ends and are suitable for the insertion of countersunk screws as a screw 10. The widened bore 9 on the surface of the wooden element 5 is provided with a cap 11.

In Figure 3, the anchoring profile 12 is designed as a flat iron, which is arranged centrally in the post and is firmly connected to the plastic 1 and wooden elements 5 by means of two pairs of screw connections 10. The width of the flat iron is smaller than the width of the post elements 1, 5, so that it does not appear on their surfaces 4, 8 either. In Figure 4, the anchoring profile 12 is also designed as a flat iron, but its width corresponds to that of the post elements 1, 5, so that the flat iron in this embodiment lies flush with the surfaces 4, 8 of the posts 1, 5.

Figure 5 shows an embodiment of the connection as an H-shaped profile 20. The profile 20 has a base plate 25 and two legs 21 abutting the surfaces of the plastic and the wooden element. The lower inner shape of the profile 20 is adapted to the contours of the connection-side end section of the plastic element 1, so that the profile 20 sits firmly on the plastic element 1. Accordingly, the upper inner part of the profile sits on the connection-side end section of the wooden element 5. To improve the stability and resilience of the connection between the wooden element 5 and the upper part of the profile 20, an axially extending from the upper surface of the base plate 25 of the profile 20 extending anchoring element 28 designed as a flat iron profile is provided, which has two bores 33 through which two screws 27 protrude transversely into the wooden element 5. The screws 27 are also passed through the bores 26 in the two opposite profile legs 21.

A wooden element 5 with a rectangular cross-section is shown in FIG. 6a and with a round cross-section in FIG. 6b. The profile 20 is designed as a post shoe and only partially surrounds the surface of the wooden element 5. In the rectangular cross-section, the legs 21 of the profile 20 rest only on two sides of the wooden element 5 and in the round version, the legs 21 of the profile 20, the length of which is approximately a quarter of the total circumference, lie in partial areas.

The profile is formed in FIGS. 7a and 7b as an H-shaped double shoe 22. The legs of the profile form a collar 21 which, in the case of a rectangular design of a wooden element 5, already precludes torsion or twisting of the wooden element 5 within the double plug-in shoe 22. The anchoring element 28 can therefore be arranged centrally to the base plate 25. In the case of a round design of the wooden element 5, the diameter of the plastic element 1 in the region of the end enclosed by the collar 21 is smaller than that of the wooden element 5.

The annular end face of the collar part on the plastic element side can also serve as a support for a shoulder of the plastic element 1. Preferably, the diameter of the plastic element 1 below the shoulder is equal to the outer diameter of the double plug-in shoe 22, so that a smooth, stepless transition from the plastic element 1 to the double plug-in shoe 22 is produced. The plastic element 1 is then preferably screwed into the double plug-in shoe 22, the shoulder forming a screw stop. In both embodiments, the additionally inserted screws 27, which can also be arranged in a crosswise offset and are guided through the collar 21 and the anchoring element 28, contribute to a higher stability of the connection.

Flat iron profiles are used in FIG. Two separate flat bars 17, 18, which rest on two sides 8 of a rectangular wooden element 5 or on partial areas 8 of a round wooden element 5, are connected to one another by means of screws 27, as can additionally be seen from FIGS. 9a and 9b.

In FIGS. 10a and 10b, the flat iron is designed to form the round profile 19 and thus encloses the wooden element 5 and the plastic element 1.

In Figure 11, an angle iron 23 is provided as a profile. This has an anchoring element 28 arranged on the base plate 25, which protrudes into the wooden element 5 and into the plastic element 1 and is fastened on both sides of the base plate 25 with two screws 27, which are guided through the bores 33 into the anchoring element 28 . The angle iron 23 can either be in contact with only a part of the surfaces 4, 8 according to FIGS. 12a and 12b or may be designed as a half-ring profile 24 according to FIGS. 13a and 13b. The half-ring profiles 24 are much more stable than the simple angle iron 23 and the wooden elements 5 can be left out laterally in order to achieve a flush surface in the area of the connection.

In the - for the production of a post element according to the invention - not shown in the drawing - the recycled plastic is poured or pressed around the anchoring element into a mold, the anchoring element being held essentially concentrically in the mold and projecting beyond the mold by a predetermined length . This length corresponds to the length by which the anchoring element should protrude into the wooden post part. The recycled plastic also hardens completely, evenly and firmly towards the anchoring element, since this consists of a metallic material, and is therefore heat-conducting, and consequently, after the anchoring element, there are similar curing conditions to the outer surface. A particularly good strength in the transition area between the anchoring element and the plastic part can be achieved if the surface of the anchoring element, in particular made of steel, is structured, that is to say it has recesses and elevations into which the plastic can engage during the encapsulation or encapsulation.

The embodiment of the invention is not limited to the preferred exemplary embodiment specified above. Rather, a number of variants are conceivable which make use of the solution shown even in the case of fundamentally different types.
