Abstract

The system consists of frame members (4) which are joined together in a variety of shapes by means of connecting blocks (1) and tie-pieces (2) which are inserted into mortises in the ends of the frame members and fixed with two dowels each.The frame members can have hold drilled at intervals to which tie-pieces can be fixed, allowing perpendicular frame members to be joined directly to one another. In addition, the connecting blocks can be made with sides at an angle of 45 and 26.5 degrees so that frame members can be joined together at various angles.
