Description

The present invention relates to a joint tape, in particular internal working or expansion joint tape, for sealing joints in concrete construction, consisting of an extruded profile strand made of plastic or rubber with at least two side panels to be embedded in the concrete, the profile strand being homogeneous on the longitudinal edge of at least one of the side panels, materially connected to an edge strip running in the longitudinal direction of the profile, the edge strip having tie wire holders spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the profile.

Such joint tapes are used for the elastic sealing of watertight concrete structures in the area of expansion, movement or construction joints formed between two adjacent concrete components. Here, an edge side web is embedded in one of the concrete components. The side web has such a profile that the longest possible water circulation path is formed, whereby a seal is achieved according to the so-called labyrinth principle. In order to ensure the maximum possible water circulation path in any case, it is necessary to close the joint tape on the formwork before concreting fasten that the side panels extend into the concrete as perpendicular to the joint as possible. It must therefore be prevented in any case that the side panels bend due to their own weight or due to falling concrete and be embedded in an uncontrolled position. For this purpose, it is known to fasten clamps to thickened edge beads of the side webs in a clamped or non-positive and / or positive manner. These clips, which are arranged at intervals of about 30 to 50 cm from each other, can be used to attach binding wires, so-called. Rope wires, with which the side tracks can then be fixed in their desired position by angled bracing. However, assembly is very complex since the clamps have to be clamped individually, for example using pliers, before they can be tensioned using wire.

A joint tape of the aforementioned generic type is known from GB-A-1 016 106. This joint tape ("water-stop") also consists of a profile strand with two side webs to be embedded in concrete, each side web being connected here with an edge strip to which hooks are fastened via tubular rivets as binding wire holders. The edge strips here are each formed by part of the side web (web) or the profile strand, which means that the edge strips consist of the same, usually as soft, flexible and elastic material as the entire profile strand. However, this disadvantageously leads to the risk that the hooks can tear out when bracing with binding wire or string wire. In contrast, the use of a harder material would lead to a deterioration in the sealing properties and / or the expansion properties of the joint tape embedded in the concrete.

The present invention has for its object to improve the known joint tape so that on the one hand it has optimal functional properties, i.e. Sealing and stretching properties, and on the other hand also has a high durability in the area of the binding wire holders, and in addition, rational and inexpensive production should also be possible. For this purpose, a preferred manufacturing process should also be specified.

According to the invention this is achieved with a joint tape according to claim 1 in that the profile strand and the edge strip consist of two different materials, namely the profile strand made of a soft, elastic material and the edge strip made of a harder, tougher material compared to the profile strand.

Advantageous developments of the invention are contained in the dependent claims 2 to 7.

A preferred manufacturing method is specified in claim 8. This ensures that, despite the use of two different materials, the joint tape according to the invention can be produced quickly and inexpensively in one extrusion process.

Each side web preferably has an edge strip formed in this way. It is particularly expedient if the binding wire holders are designed as eyelets as through holes in the edge strip. The required fastenings or bracing can be carried out in a simple manner by fastening binding wire to the edge strip or strips via the through holes.

In that the edge strips according to the invention consist of a material that is harder or tougher than the material of the profile strand, the tearing-out through holes are advantageously prevented from being torn out. The edge strips can in particular consist of hard PVC or another hard plastic, while the profile strand preferably consists of soft PVC.

The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to a preferred exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. The single figure shows a cross section through a joint tape according to the invention.

A joint tape 2 according to the invention consists of an extruded profile strand 4 made of plastic or of rubber (rubber). The joint tape 2 shown is a so-called expansion joint tape with a central hose 6 to be arranged in the area of the concrete-free joint, from which two side webs 8 extend in opposite directions. The center tube 6 can - as shown - have a nail tab 10 for attaching the profile strand 4 to a wooden casing, not shown. In addition, however, the invention can also be implemented in so-called construction joint tapes without a central hose.

Each side web 8 has at least one anchor rib 12 in its area and an edge bead 16 on its free longitudinal edge 14. A corrugation or ribbing 18 is usually formed between the anchor rib 12 and the edge bead 16. The area between the anchor ribs 12, including the middle tube 6, forms an expansion zone 20, and the area that extends outward from the anchor rib 20 The area of each side web 8 forms a sealing zone 22, the profiling provided here serving to extend the water circulation path and thus to provide a sealing effect based on the labyrinth principle. In addition, the profiling also forms a positive connection between the joint tape and the concrete enclosing the joint tape in the region of the side panels.

The profile strand 4 is integrally connected on the longitudinal edge 14 of at least one of the side webs 8 to an edge strip 24 running in the longitudinal direction of the profile. This edge strip 24 has binding wire holders 26 spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the profile. The profile strand 4 preferably has an edge strip 24 on each of its two longitudinal edges 14. In the illustrated, particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the binding wire holders 26 are designed as through holes 28 of the respective edge strip 24 which are particularly simple to produce, with through holes 28 practically forming fastening eyelets, through - as indicated in the drawing - a binding wire 30, ie a so-called Rödeldraht, pulled through and hereby the respective side web 8 can be fixed aligned in its target position by oblique bracing.

As shown, the edge strips 24 are preferably arranged lying in the plane of the profile strand 4. The through holes 28 are spaced from each other by 5 to 15 cm, preferably about 10 cm, in the longitudinal direction of the profile, which favors the assembly of the joint tape according to the invention in that there are many possibilities for fastening the binding wire 30.

Because of the very high tensile forces that occur due to the described tensioning over the binding wire 30, the connection between the edge strips 24 and the profile strand 4 is an aspect essential to the invention.

According to the invention, the profile strand 4 is homogeneous with the respective edge strip 24, i.e. materially connected. In particular, the profile strand 4 consists of a soft PVC, while the edge strips 24 consist of hard PVC. These materials can be homogeneously and therefore extremely firmly bonded to one another, so that high tensile forces can be absorbed without the edge strip being able to be torn off from the profile strand 4.

According to the invention, on the one hand the profile strand 4 made of soft PVC and on the other hand the edge strips 24 made of hard PVC are initially formed separately for themselves, but preferably in a common device, and are still brought together in a still plastic state within an extruder or injection head so homogeneously connected. The soft material of the profile strand 4 ensures the desired elasticity, and the harder material of the edge strips 24 prevents the through holes 28 from being torn out when braced with the binding wire 30.

The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiment shown and described, but also includes all embodiments having the same effect in the sense of the invention according to claims 1-8. In particular, the invention can also be applied to profiles which have more than just two side webs to be embedded in the concrete, as is the case, for example, with so-called external joint tapes.

Dabei besitzt dann vorzugsweise jede vorgesehene Seitenbahn bzw. Ankerrippenbahn einen erfindungsgemäßen Randstreifen 24.In this case, each side web or anchor rib web provided preferably has an edge strip 24 according to the invention.
