Dabei ist es einerseits möglich,
den einen Lenker mit seinen beiden Enden nur schwenkbeweglich an der rahmenseitigen Lagerschiene und der flügelseitigen Halteschiene angreifen zu lassen, während der andere Lenker mit seinen beiden Enden sowohl verschwenkbar als auch verschiebbar an Lagerschiene und Halteschiene angreift. Andererseits kann aber auch jeder der beiden Lenker mit einem seiner Enden lediglich verschwenkbar an der Lagerschiene bzw. Halteschiene angreifen, während sein anderes Ende dann schwenkverschieblich mit der Halteschiene bzw. Lagerschiene zu verbinden ist, wie das beispielsweise die US-PS 1 864 164 erkennen läßt.

Bei der Ausstellvorrichtung nach US-PS 3 722 142 stehen hingegen die Gelenke beider Lenker sowohl mit der rahmenseitigen Lagerschiene als auch mit der flügelseitigen Halteschiene in einer unlösbaren Verbindung. Hieraus ergibt sich, daß für das Ein- und Aushängen jedes Flügels relativ zum Festrahmen immer umständliche Manipulationen erforderlich sind, während zugleich eine entsprechend ausgerichtete Halterung bzw. Wie praktische Versuche ergeben haben, stellen sich jedoch in beiden Fällen, insbesondere beim Einhängevorgang für die Flügel, insofern Schwierigkeiten ein, als die Abstände zwischen den freien Gelenkzapfen der beiden Lenker und die Abstände der zugehörigen Eingriffsöffnungen zur Bildung des Drehgelenkes und des Schiebegelenkes an der Lagerschiene bzw. an der Halteschiene in keiner festen Beziehung zueinander stehen.It would be conceivable, also in the display devices of the type and function corresponding to US Pat.     one end of the support bar (11) has a laterally offset tongue (24) engageable in a companion aperture (25) in one (13) of the brackets), and the support bar (11) can be secured at least near its other end to the other bracket (14) by means of an adjustable bolt (26, 27).
  5. A stay mechanism according to any of claims 1 to 4,
    characterised in that
    the adjustable bolt (26) comprises: a toggle (27) so disposed on the second bracket (14) as to be movable with difficulty; an associated aperture (26) in the web (11''') of the support bar (11).
  6. A stay mechanism according to any of claims 1 to 5,
    characterised in that
    the two brackets (13, 14) are interconnected (Fig. 7), preferably unitarily, at a predetermined distance apart (15) by an intermediate member (29).
  7. A stay mechanism according to any of claims 1 to 6,
    characterised in that
    the brackets (13, 14) and the support bar (11) can be connected by screws (29) to the fixed frame (1) and also to one another.
  8. A stay mechanism according to any of claims 1 to 7,
    characterised in that
    one (6) of the two brace bars (6, 7) engages the retaining bar (12) and the support bar (11) solely for pivoting (3' and 3'' respectively) while the other brace bar (7) is retained in pivotable and displaceable guiding engagement (4'/8' and 4''/8'' respectively) with both the retaining bar (12) and support bar (11),
    and the brace bar (6) mounted solely for pivoting is connected by way of at least one pivot (3) to a slide (31) so bearing (32, 34 and 40 respectively) on the support bar (11) and the retaining bar (12) respectively by way of a respective adjusting member (35, 39) as to have limited provision for lengthwise adjustment.
  9. A stay mechanism according to claim 8,
    characterised in that
    the adjusting member is either in the form of a screwthreaded element (screw 35) bearing (34, 36) rotatably and non-displaceably, for example, on the support bar (11) and also engaging (32) with a companion screwthread (37), for example, in the slide (31), or an eccentric (39) mounted, for example, in the slide (31), so as to be turned with difficulty and is also in permanent engagement with a slot (40) which is disposed, for example, in the support bar (11) and which extends transversely to the direction of movement of the slide (31).
  10. A stay mechanism according to claim 8 or 9,
    characterised in that
    the slide (31) is received in a space (38) in the support bar (11), the space being distant from the securing places (17, 18, 20, 21) of the bracket (14) and support bar (11) and a space (41) in the bracket (14) is preferably associated with the space (38) in the support bar (11) and the slide (31) is engaged in both the spaces (38, 41).
  11. A stay mechanism according to claim 8,
    characterised in that
    the brace bar (6) mounted solely for pivoting is so connected (53 - 57) by way of its second pivot (3'') to the retaining bar (52) and support bar (51) as to have limited provision for transverse adjustment.
  12. A stay mechanism according to claim 8,
    characterised in that
    the pivot (3') is embodied by an eccentric pin (53) which is so connected to the brace bar (6) as to be difficultly rotatable (54) and can be releasably engaged in a push fit with a bearing bush (36) of the retaining bar (52), the eccentric pin (53) having, conveniently, below the bearing bush (56) a collar (58) having on its periphery tool engagement facets (58a), for example, for an open spanner, the eccentric pin (53) being secured to the brace bar (6) by staking or riveting (54).
