Definitions

  • the invention relates to an upwardly open container for receiving upright sheet stacks, in particular wrapping paper stacks, with a holder for the operator-side arrangement of the container on a sales counter.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of designing the container intended for arrangement at a sales counter in such a way that the removal of the individual sheets from stacks of sheets or from other objects stacked in the container is made considerably easier.
  • the solution to the problem according to the invention is that the inner circumference of the container designed in the manner of a quiver is larger and the width of the container is smaller than the length of the sheet edges, such that the sheet stack used is forced into a position curved about an upright axis, and that the container has at least one vertical, primarily continuous recess on the front wall.
  • the sheet stack is particularly stable and stable. Its outer sheet lies on the inside of the oval or round curved stack and takes part in the stability of the stack. This sheet cannot therefore become independent in any way, although it is absolutely stiff and limp, as is common with wrapping paper. Surprisingly, pull the single sheet from such a stack particularly easily, the friction and any electrostatic charge no longer having any influence.
  • the recess provided on the front wall of the container has the advantage that the sheets can be removed effortlessly even if the stack of sheets has a lower height than the container because you can reach through the recess with your fingers.
  • US-A-4 609 112 describes a form magazine with a plurality of curved compartment walls, between which stacked sheets are arranged in an upright position in a slightly curved position.
  • Such a curvature in which the lateral edges of the sheets abut the container side walls, does not lead to the effect which can be achieved with the object of the invention.
  • In order to stabilize the sheet stack it must be able to support itself with its curved outer surface not only on the front wall but also on the side walls.
  • the quiver-like container is trapezoidal or rectangular or square in plan with strongly bevelled or rounded corners on the operator side.
  • the shape of the quiver-like container is intended to force the curvature of the stack of sheets inserted vertically into the container in a shape which is particularly expedient for the removal of the single sheet. For this reason, it has proven to be expedient if the curvature of the sheet stack is less large on the operator side than on the counter side. On the side facing away from the operator, the sheet stacks can even be in one strong curvature can be forced through the walls of the quiver-like container.
  • the quiver-like container has an inclined front wall on the operator side or is arranged at an inclined angle such that the upper edge of the front wall protrudes toward the operator.
  • Such an oblique arrangement has the result that the sheet stack is guided accordingly obliquely in the container. This considerably simplifies or improves access to the sheet stack and the removal of the single sheet.
  • opposite guides for inserting partitions are arranged on the inner surface of the front and rear wall of the quiver-like container. If such dividing walls are provided, it is of course expedient to arrange the vertical cutouts in the front wall at a distance from these dividing walls so that the objects filled into the individual spaces of the quiver-like container can be removed independently of one another.
  • the invention finally provides that hook-like rails are provided on at least one outside of the quiver-like container for hanging on mounting strips or on other containers.
  • Such fasteners are through DE-U-83 04 893 known per se.
  • they prove to be particularly useful, especially since there is the possibility of arranging two or more hook-like rails at a distance from one another. As a result, only a single mounting strip needs to be provided on the sales counter. Since the quiver-like container has a plurality of hook-like rails one above the other, the height of the container can be selected in accordance with the arrangement of these rails.
  • the invention also relates to the assignment of the bottom to the front wall of the container, the invention proposing to arrange these two walls at an angle deviating from 90 °. Because the sheet stack inserted into the container stands on its edges, this angular position results in a fanning out of the sheet stack, which improves the easy removal of the single sheet.
  • the invention provides, in the context of an exemplary embodiment, to fasten the individual or a plurality of quiver-like containers to the countertop of the sales counter or to a support board which is displaceably guided on the countertop. This creates the possibility of moving the container together with the support board to where the operator chooses the most convenient location.
  • FIG. 1 systematically shows one of several known possibilities for receiving a stack of sheets (5) in an operating device (2), with (1) schematically indicating a worktop of a sales counter.
  • an operating device (2) On the operator side, there is the problem of packing the goods prepared on the worktop (1), for which purpose wrapping paper is required which should be arranged as close as possible to the worktop (1) and be easily accessible.
  • curved floors (3) are supported on rods (4) and carry the individual sheet stacks (5).
  • the removal direction is indicated by the arrow (6).
  • a stack of sheets (5) is used according to the invention.
  • Fig. (2) upright in a quiver-like container (7) so that the sheet edges (10) stand up on the bottom (24) of the container (7), then the removal of the single sheet is much easier after experience in practical use.
  • the quiver-like container (7) according to the invention is open at the top (8) and has at least one vertical recess (9) in its front wall (15) (cf. FIGS. 3 and 4). While it is shown in Fig. 2 that the sheet stack (5) protrudes over the upper edge (16) of the quiver-like container (7), the vertical recesses (9) according to. Figures 3 and 4 that lower sheet stacks (5) can be used in the container (7), because the removal of the single sheet is ensured by the fact that the fingers can reach through the individual vertical recess (9).
  • the inner circumference (11) of the quiver-like container (7) is dimensioned such that the sheet stack (5) inserted therein has a smaller extent than the inner circumference (11).
  • the sheet stack (5) can therefore be effortlessly inserted vertically into the container (7), its curvature corresponding to the length of the sheet edge resulting from the contact with the individual walls.
  • the plan of the quiver-like container (7) is trapezoidal or rectangular with strongly chamfered corners (12). These bevelled corners (12) are adapted to the natural curvature of the sheet stack (5) in the inserted state. However, they also save space on the outside and offer the operator no reason to initiate.
  • rounded corners (13) are provided on the container (7).
  • the outline shape of the individual container (7) is chosen in such a way that it best corresponds to the natural curvature of the sheet stack (5) used therein.
  • Fig. 4 shows on the inside of the quiver-like container (7) arranged guides (17) which are opposite each other and serve to accommodate partitions (18).
  • the one separate space of the quiver-like container (7) for receiving a stack of sheets (5) of smaller dimensions and the other space for receiving a stack of cups (19), for example, can be provided.
  • the vertical recesses (9) must be arranged so that they allow access to the individual objects arranged in the quiver-like container (7).
  • the removal of the single sheet from the quiver-like container (7) is made even easier if, according to. 5 and 6, at least the front wall (15) of the quiver-like container (7) is arranged obliquely, the direction of the slope being understood such that the upper edge (16) of the front wall (15) is inclined to the operator.
  • the sheet stack (5) is therefore at an angle in the quiver-like container (7), which facilitates access to the single sheet below the worktop (1) (see FIG. 2). If the bottom (24) of the quiver-like container (7) is arranged on the front wall (15) at an angle (24) to the normal, the sheet stack (5) inserted into the container (7) is fanned out.
  • an obtuse angle is provided between the front wall (15) and the bottom (24), so that the exposed sheet of the sheet stack (5) lies higher than the sheet lying against the front wall (15). In the latter case, removal is likely to be easier.
  • the individual quiver-like container (7) has at least one hook-like rail (21) on at least one outside (20).
  • several such hook-like rails (21) are arranged at a distance (23) from one another.
  • These hook-like rails (21) are suspended in the usual manner in mounting strips (22) which are arranged on the operator's side on the sales counter. If several such hook-like rails (21) are arranged one above the other at a distance, it is possible to attach only one mounting strip (22) to the sales counter.
  • the height of the individual quiver-like container (7) within the sales counter then depends on which of the hook-like rails (21) is brought into engagement with the mounting bar (22).
  • the inclined position of the stack of sheets (5) used in the quiver-like container (7) can also be achieved by inserting the quiver-like container (7) obliquely into the sales counter.
