Description

The invention relates to a method for treating compost, biomass or the like. Feed material and a suitable device.

The discharge of such aggregate is desired in different grain sizes or as a so-called middle fraction in which at least two grain size classes are mixed together. In view of this, the inventor has set itself the goal of creating a simple method for separating the feed material and a device for this, which can be produced and operated inexpensively. This problem is solved by separating the pile on a screen surface, the meshes or screen holes of which are arranged in the direction of the flow of the feed material in at least two zones of different mesh size or hole size, the feed material for separating in at least two grain fractions first of all the zone of narrower meshes - or hole width given and conveyed to the other zone (s) and the conveying direction is reversed for screening a mixed fraction.

A device which is particularly suitable for this has a sieve drum known per se, the meshes or sieve holes of which are provided in at least two different sizes or diameters and are arranged in regions of the same hole sizes, the size of the sieve holes or perforations in the axial direction of the sieve drum from one end face to the other other face decreases. If you first pass the feed material over the lateral surface with the smaller sieve holes, the corresponding small grain fraction is sieved out; subsequently - depending on the number of the different hole width differences connected - several fractions. If, however, the feed material is introduced at the end of the drum that adjoins the largest hole size, the middle fraction whose upper limit is determined by that largest hole size is screened out.

For this purpose, it has proven to be advantageous to make the sieve drum open at both ends and to provide it with inlets protruding into its interior with an assigned feed element. This feed element determines the respective desired end face of the task, and it can also be assigned an approximately central task.

According to a further feature of the invention, the conveying direction of the feed material can be determined by a reversible conveying element, for example a transport scoop which moves in the desired direction inside the drum and which can convey from the small to the largest perforation and vice versa.
An embodiment according to the invention is preferred in which the screen drum is pivotably mounted at an angle of inclination, approximately in the middle of its length, so that the direction of inclination can determine the direction of conveyance.

According to a further feature of the invention, blade plates are also mounted in the interior of the drum, which protrude radially into the interior if necessary and to which transport blades can be assigned. The latter preferably have edges inclined towards the drum axis and can themselves also be inclined towards the drum axis.

The radial plane of the sieve drum laid through the pivot bearing is preferred with respect to its built-in plane of symmetry; the different diameters of the sieve holes can be provided on both sides of the radial plane of the sieve drum through the pivot bearing.

Other favorable features and characteristics of the device can be found in the subclaims.

Further advantages, features and details emerge from the following description of preferred exemplary embodiments and from the drawing; this shows in
  • 1 shows a side view of a device according to the invention;
  • FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section through part of FIG. 1;
  • Fig. 3: the section along line III - III through Fig. 2;

Hierzu dienen Kolben / Zylinder-Einheiten 5.A sieve drum 1 of the lengths is centered on a - supported by a base frame 26 - inclination adjustment drive 8 so that they gem from the horizontal position. Fig. 1 in a dashed right - and accordingly in a left - tilt position can be transferred. Piston / cylinder units 5 are used for this.

This sieve drum 1 is compost, biomass or the like. Raw material is fed via an overlying distribution conveyor belt 6, which takes over this heap from a feeder 7 which is positioned in the center. Vertical supports 9 of the base frame 26 each hold an inlet funnel 10 or 10 m of an inlet chute 11 or 11 m , which protrude into the open left or right cone end 1 k of the screening drum 1 in FIG. 1.

Those inlet funnels 10, 10 m are provided above the drum axis A, their closed inlet chutes 11, 11 m protrude into the drum interior 1 i ; the feed material can be introduced into the screening drum via the horizontal axis A. After passing through, the feed material is discharged at the other end through built-in discharge blades 13 (FIG. 4).

On the screen drum 1 are in the selected embodiment on the left drum half perforated screens mounted with large screen holes 14, however, those 15 on the right drum half having smaller sieve holes In the shown in Fig. 1 position the hopper reaches 10 m supplied Hauferk or its finer screen fraction In a receiving chamber 16 arranged below the sieve drum 1, the next coarser material is brought through the sieve holes 14 into a left receiving chamber 17, the oversize particles via the discharge blades 13 described into an outer box indicated at 18.

By adjusting the drum inclination angle w, the throughput time of the material to be screened can be slowed down or accelerated.

Material fed in on the left-hand side of FIG. 1 first reaches the coarse-meshed drum side with the coarse perforations 14 and flows in the direction of the arrow x to the discharge 12 (arrow in FIG. 1). As a result, the fine fraction contained in the coarse fraction is discharged beforehand through the screen holes 15; it creates a middle fraction.

According to FIG. 3, the screening drum 1 has continuous, continuous blade plates 19 which constantly raise the feed material and hurl it onto the opposite screen surface. This process is in turn adapted to the desired requirements by setting high-speed or slow-speed.

In addition, 19 transport transverse blades 20 are attached to the blade plates, which transport the material back and hold it longer in the drum part (adapted by the inclination w of the sieve drum 1).

The transport blades 20 have a special shape, thanks to which e.g. Garbage bags or paper bags or the like. torn open by the blade plates 19 and the transport blades 20 assigned to a point and their contents are emptied.

By choosing a suitable speed, e.g. organic household waste can be better screened; For sorting out household waste, you can choose between 14 and 15 trays with the same perforation or mesh size. By adjusting the angle of inclination w, the quality of the sieve and the performance can be balanced out cheaply, i.e. the output material can be retained in the screening drum 1 for better screening.
