Claims (5)

  1. A device for turning the pages of written material positioned on a stand, particularly sheet music, having a turning body engaging around the upper edge of the page to be turned and projecting downwards from a horizontal arm, the said arm being retained by a rod which is rotatable about a vertical axis and which is connected via gearing to a foot-actuated body, characterized in that the gearing is housed in a box-type casing (10) with feet (12), the casing either having a pin (64, 86) projecting upwards to secure the stand (18), or being provided on its upper surface with a bore into which the vertical foot of the stand may be inserted.
  2. A device in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the gearing has a horizontal shaft (50) on which the end of the foot-actuated body - which is formed as a two-armed lever (70) - is removably secured, the said end projecting from the casing (10).
  3. A device in accordance with claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the gearing has a vertical shaft (42) on which the end of the rod (38) is detachably secured, the said end projecting from the casing (10).
  4. A device in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the horizontal arm (36'') is secured [on] the upper end of the rod (38) in such a manner as to be detachable, and adjustable by means of a sliding bearing (78).
  5. A device in accordance with claim 4, characterized in that the horizontal arm (36'') has a respective turning body at each of its two ends.
