Bei der Erfindung ist die Verpackung so ausgebildet, daß die die Zigaretten-Packungen aufnehmende Umhüllung teil­weise offen bleibt, insbesondere im Bereich der Boden­wände der Zigaretten-Packungen. Hier sind die gegebenen­falls gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Markierungen an den Zigaretten-Packungen anzubringen. Um gleichwohl die Ver­packung als dauerhaft zusammenhängende Einheit zu gestal­ten, sind im Bereich der offenen Seiten der Umhüllung (streifenförmige) Folien angebracht, die einerseits mit den freiliegenden Flächen (Bodenwände) der Zigaret­ ten-Packungen und andererseits der Umhüllung verklebt sind. Die Markierungen werden dabei an der durch Klebung mit jeder Zigaretten-Packung verbundenen Folie ange­bracht. Bei Ingebrauchnahme der Verpackung wird die Fo­lie im Bereich zwischen den einzelnen Zigaretten-Packun­gen durchtrennt, insbesondere durch eine entsprechend angebrachte Perforierung oder andere Materialschwächung als vorgegebene Trennlinie. Es bleiben somit einzelne Abschnitte der mit der Markierung versehenen Folie dauer­haft an jeder Zigaretten-Packung. Die Verpackung besteht bei dieser erfindungsgemäßen Ausgestaltung aus (zwei) Teilumhüllun­gen, die lösbar miteinander verbunden sind, derart, daß offene Seiten, insbesondere offene Längsseiten, nebenein­ander liegen. Diese sind dann alternativ durch einen gemeinsamen, entsprechend bemessenen Folienstreifen oder durch jeder Teilstange zugeordnete Einzelstreifen ver­schlossen. Die erforderlichen Markierungen werden an den Zigaretten-Packungen der kompletten Verpackung gemeinsam bzw. gleichzeitig angebracht. Die Innenlappen 51 und 52 werden durch den die volle Schmalseite 31 bilden­den Außenlappen 53 überdeckt. Verpackung mit einer Umhüllung aus Papier, Karton oder Kunststoffolie für eine Mehrzahl von Kleinpackun­gen, insbesondere Kleingebinde (Stange) aus Zigaretten-­Packungen, die mit Stirnwand und Bodenwand jeweils einer (schmalen) Seitenfläche der Umhüllung zugekehrt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zigaretten-Packungen (21) oder dergleichen im Bereich ihrer Stirnwand (26) und/oder ihrer Bodenwand (27) (aus­schließlich) durch klebende Folie (Folienstreifen 29 ; Einzelstreifen 36, 37) miteinander und mit der in diesem Bereich offenen Umhüllung (22) verbunden sind.1.
