Das Auslösen des Fallnetzes 11 kann beispielsweise durch manuelle Betätigung eines elek­trischen Schaltknopfes erfolgen oder aber optisch durch Foto­zellen, durch Funk oder Fernsteuerung. Es ist auch möglich, in der Nacht die Auslösung auf Grund von Geräuschen, Erschüt­terungen oder abnormalem Licht vorzunehmen, namentlich zum Schutz gegen Einbrecher.
