Claims (5)

1. 2. Braking device as in claim 1, characterised in that two permanent magnets (6) are fitted close to the front faces (5) of the thread guide box (1) with the longitudinal central axis of the slide rail (2).
3. Braking device as in claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the slide rail (2) has a dovetail shaped cross-section and the thread guide box (1) has longitudinal guide slots (9) with trapezoidal shaped cross-section matching the cross-section of the slide rail (2).
4. Braking device as in claim 3, characterised in that the adjustable guide wedges (10) are fitted near at least one of the side walls of the longitudinal guide slots (9), the thread guide box (1).
5. Braking device as in claim 4, characterised in that two guide wedges (10) are fitted adjacent to the front faces of the thread guide box (1).
