Claims (5)

1. Transport installation comprising a continuously running cable, circulating between stations, vehicles capable of being uncoupled from the cable in an uncoupling zone at the entrance to each station, and of being coupled to the cable in a coupling zone at the exit from each station, a system of transfer rails for the vehicles leading from the uncoupling zone to the coupling zone via an alighting zone and a boarding zone, at least one of the stations (Figs. 1 and 2: 2; Fig. 3: 42; Figs. 4 and 5 and 6: 52) comprising an additional system of transfer rails (30; 30; 64, 65), situated at a different level to the first system of transfer rails (16; 16; 56, 57), a system of conveyors (32; 46; 66, 67) being provided which connects the systems of the two levels, characterised in that the additional system of rails runs through additional alighting zones (36; 48; 68, 69) and boarding zones (38; 50; 70, 71) respectively, and in that the system of conveyors connects the uncoupling zone (18; 18; 18, 19) to the additional alighting zone (36; 48; 68, 69), and the additional boarding zone (38; 50; 70, 71) to the coupling zone (26; 26; 20, 21).
2. Transport installation according to Claim 1, characterised in that the system of conveyors (32; 46; 66, 67) comprises a descending section and a rising section, the two sections being arranged obliquely.
3. Transport installation according to Claim 1, characterised in that the system of conveyors comprises a descending section and a rising section, the two sections being arranged vertically.
4. Transport installation according to Claim 1, characterised in that the station (2; 42) is an end station comprising a return system (10) for the cable (8) (Figs. 1, 2, 3).
5. Transport installation according to Claim 1, characterised in that the station (52) is an intermediate station traversed by the cable (8, 9) twice in opposite directions (Figs. 4, 5, 6).
