Definitions
- the subject matter of the invention relates to packaging with a cushioning or compensating element according to the preamble of claim 1 and a packaging method for general cargo parts, in particular small parts of different or identical dimensions.
- a packaging method for general cargo parts in particular small parts of different or identical dimensions.
- Known cardboard boxes or folding boxes can be used for general cargo parts of different or the same dimensions, in which form-fitting cushioning or compensating elements, packaging inserts, packaging films (DE-GM 19 12 467, DE-GM 17 70 573, DE-GM 19 94 988) or fillers be used to protect the packaged goods.
- the cushioning or compensating elements used in these packagings generally require a lot of work to pack and take up a large part of the storage capacity.
- Form-fitting packaging aids are usually even more expensive because they are only intended for the packaging goods that correspond to the shape.
- a packaging with an air cushion as a compensating element is known from WO 85/00151, the air cushion being able to be closed by means of a check valve which is arranged in the wall of the packaging container and is connected to the air cushion and the packaging wall.
- valve device requires a higher manufacturing outlay.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a packaging with a packaging aid and a packaging method of the type mentioned at the beginning, in which the protection of the goods to be packaged during transport and storage is ensured with simple and inexpensive means.
- the advantage of the packaging according to the invention is that only a small storage capacity has to be kept available for the packaging aid. Furthermore, the plastic bag used is inexpensive and environmentally friendly with the appropriate choice of materials. No complex check valves are required to close the plastic bag.
- the packaging process is simplified and the process sections can be carried out manually or automatically.
- the packaging container is designated (1).
- the piece goods parts (2) are placed in the packaging container (1), which is preferably designed as a cardboard box or folding box, and covered with the film-like plastic bag (3).
- the tubular air or gas inlet channel (4) connected to the plastic bag (3) is led to the outside through an opening (5) in the packaging container (1) and connected to the nozzle (6) of an air or gas supply device (7) .
- the plastic bag (3) is filled with air or gas (8) by means of an air or gas supply device (7).
- the nozzle (6) can be connected to the air or gas inlet duct (4) according to FIG. 1. After the filling process or after the required pressure has been reached, the air or gas inlet duct (4) is closed, for example by a film welding and separation process.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment provides for the air or gas inlet channel (4) to be tubular and to be welded to the plastic bag (3) in such a way that only a small passage opening for the air supply is present.
- the plastic bag (3) and the air or gas inlet channel (4) are made from film tubes.
- the film tubes can be made of different or the same material or different or the same material thickness.
- the plastic bag (3) is a correspondingly long Piece of film tube welded at one end.
- the hose for the air or gas inlet channel (4) is inserted into the opening of the bag thus created.
- the two hoses are welded together so that only a small passage opening for the air supply remains in the inlet channel (9).
- the weld seam closes the plastic bag (3) and connects it at the same time in the area of the inlet duct (9) with the air or gas inlet duct (4).
- one end of the air or gas inlet channel (4) extends into the interior of the plastic bag (3) and acts as an automatically closing lip valve.
- the nozzle of an air supply device is guided into the inlet channel (9) and the plastic bag is filled.
- the nozzle is then pulled out of the inlet channel (9).
- the opening (10) of the air or gas inlet channel located in the plastic bag (3) is closed in the manner of a lip valve.
- a particular advantage is that the channel (4) remains securely closed even with minimal excess pressure in the plastic bag (3) and prevents the air or the like from flowing back. After the filling process, there is the possibility of returning the channel (4) into the packaging container (1), separating it or gluing it to the outside of the packaging container.
- the packaging container (1) is loaded with the piece goods (2), the packaging container (1) is closed and the plastic bag (3) is guided through the opening (5) with the aid of a device then fill and seal it as shown previously.
- the process sections of both process options can be carried out manually or automatically.

Abstract
