Abstract

A chimney cowl with a cantilever plate (4) which is fastened under the upper end of the smoke pipe (1) and of the casing (2) enclosing the smoke pipe (1), a wall surround (5) which is supported on the cantilever plate (4) and surrounds the casing (2), and a cover plate (10) which rests on the wall surround (5) and has an opening for passage of the smoke gases.
