Description

The invention relates to an arrangement for covering a light passage opening on an inclined roof with two translucent, planar cover elements resting on rungs, separated by seals, with thermal insulation between the frame and cover element as well as the ridge and eaves side panels.

In known arrangements, the cover is also on rungs. These rungs rest on brackets or top frames, are separated from the frame by thermal insulation and protrude beyond the frame. Due to the metal seals in the known arrangements between the rung and the tab or heat insulation, one leg of which runs freely outside the frame for sealing against splashing water and rain, cold bridges are formed which At least partially cancel the effect of the heat insulation. Another disadvantage of the known arrangements is that they are very high and protrude significantly above the roof surface, so that an architecturally poor picture arises because the high arrangement is very eye-catching.

The invention has for its object to show a generic arrangement that avoids cold bridges with a simple structure and has a low profile and is easy to assemble.

This object is achieved in a generic arrangement in that support bars for receiving the rungs are arranged on the frame at the rung spacing and the rungs are projecting into the area of the light passage opening. With this arrangement it is achieved that the height of the arrangement is considerably reduced compared to the known designs and that an architecturally more harmonious picture of the entire building is thus created. The support of the rungs installed in the light passage opening on support ridges also results in simple assembly with a smaller number of components.

To simplify assembly also contributes to the fact that, according to a further development of the invention, the support webs on the side on which the cover elements rest are beveled in accordance with the roof pitch angle - and thus in accordance with the installation position of the cover elements - and in their section projecting into the light opening in accordance with the Contour of the rung are formed and set off according to the web thickness of the rung. According to this embodiment, the support webs can easily be placed on the frame and connected to it, for example by screwing. As a result of the inclined support surface of the support web, a safe arrangement of the rung with respect to its inclination is ge the adjustment of the section of the support web projecting into the light passage opening results in a positionally secure fixation with simple installation.
In order to avoid the cold bridges, which are disadvantageous in the known arrangements, a development of the invention is designed in such a way that the thermal insulation arranged between the frame and the cover elements overlaps the upper section of the frame and the ridge-side bonding both the cover and the thermal insulation and the eaves-side bonding Wraps around heat insulation and has a vertical leg on which a seal is placed, on which the lower cover element rests and on the unwound leg of which the upper cover element rests, the upper cover element projecting relatively far beyond the lower cover element.
Because both the ridge-side and the eaves-side cladding are arranged only on the outside and have no connection with thermally conductive parts that lead into the interior, cold bridges are avoided with certainty. By projecting above the upper cover element over the lower cover element, in conjunction with the small distance between the two cover elements, the seal of the lower cover element lies in a wind and rain-protected area, so that this seal does not become inoperable due to weather conditions.

The arrangement also reduces the cost of the construction, since the cover elements only lie in the light passage area and only protrude into the frame area, but not, as in the known arrangements, still project beyond the frame area to the outside.

In the drawings, an embodiment of the arrangement according to the invention is shown in simplified form and is described.

It shows

the arrangement of the cover elements for a light passage opening in an inclined roof.

Fig. 1 shows the light passage opening 1 of a roof with the frame 2. This frame 2 can be constructed as desired, for example from wooden planks to which the roof skin is attached, or, as shown, from a foamed element clad with thin sheet 3, in which a Approach 4 is molded. A thermal insulation 5 is applied to the frame 2 in a known manner, the section 5a of which surrounds the frame 2 in its upper section. On the frame 2, support webs 6 are also fastened, for example by screwing, at a predetermined rung spacing, which are formed on their section 7 projecting into the light passage opening 2 as a support part for the rungs 8. This section 7 is preferably adapted to the inner contour of the rung 8 and offset from the section of the support web 6 running on the frame 2 by the thickness of the web of the rung 8, so that the rung 8 can be attached securely and fastened if necessary. The support web 6, like its section 7, is chamfered according to the roof pitch, so that the rung 8 runs with a corresponding slope. At the points where the support web 6 is attached, the thermal insulation is excluded in a corresponding area. An elastic element 9, on which the lower cover element 10a rests, is applied to the respective rung 8. This cover element 10a is preferably a wire glass pane which bears against a seal 11 on the eaves side. From this cover element 10a second cover element 10b separated by a seal 12, which thus fulfills the function of a spacer element. The upper cover element 10b preferably consists of an acrylic glass pane and is held by an elastic element 13 by means of a cover rail 14. The ridge-side sheet 15 lies on a cover 16 on the cover element 10b and encompasses the entire construction including the heat insulation 5 and its section 5a encompassing the frame 2. Because this sheet 15 is only on the outside, any cold bridge is avoided.
2, the positions described in connection with FIG. 1 are provided with the same position number. The eaves-side sheet metal 17 comprises the heat insulation 5 with the section 5a on the outside and is led over the frame 2 to the lower cover element 10a and there has a vertical leg 17a on which the seal 11 is placed, against which the lower cover element 10a bears and is held that way. The seal 11 has an upwardly angled leg 11a on which the upper cover element 10b rests, this cover element 10b projecting beyond the lower cover element 10a beyond the frame 2 together with thermal insulation 5. The seal 11 is thus protected from wind, sun and rain, which contributes significantly to its functional reliability and increases its service life.

The arrangement according to the invention results in a lower and thus aesthetically appealing structure while avoiding cold bridges and a simple structure.
