Description

The invention relates to a dry shaver. From DE-B-1122410 or DE-A-1553764 a dry vase apparatus is known which has at least one roller shutter which can be moved on the apparatus housing, which is used for optionally covering or releasing a screen shaving foil of the dry shaving apparatus and is guided on both sides of the groove-shaped guides provided on the apparatus housing . With such a dry shaving apparatus, however, the shaving head cannot be detached from the apparatus.

The invention has set itself the goal of designing a dry shaving apparatus in such a way that the shaving head, for example for cleaning purposes, can also be released and that the roller shutter on the apparatus housing can be moved without problems and there is no damage to the apparatus housing. According to the invention it is provided that the shaving head can be detached from the basic apparatus, that the wall surface of the roller shutter facing the apparatus housing runs at a distance from the apparatus housing and that at least one sliding guide is effective between the roller shutter and the apparatus housing, which locally limits one section in the direction of displacement of the roller shutter The course of contact between the roller shutter and the apparatus housing results. In this way it is achieved that the roller shutter and the apparatus housing are not in contact with one another over a large area but only over relatively small surface sections, as a result of which the roller shutter can be easily moved along the apparatus housing without greater friction. In addition, it is achieved that the apparatus housing is not damaged, in particular scratched, by the wall surface of the roller shutter running at a distance from it, when it is moved, which would result in an unattractive visual impression at the locations of the apparatus housing which are not covered by the roller shutter. In the case of a dry shaving apparatus which has a shaving head frame which is detachably held on a basic apparatus and carries the sieve shaving foil on its longitudinal webs, such a shaving head frame is of course also to be counted among the apparatus housings, so that such a sliding guide can also be provided in its area.

It has proven to be advantageous if the sliding guide is essentially effective in at least one Direction of displacement of the roller shutter oriented rib is formed. Such a measure is characterized by particular simplicity.

For example, such a rib can be provided on the wall surface of the roller shutter facing the apparatus housing. However, it has proven to be particularly advantageous if the rib is provided on the apparatus housing. Since the apparatus housing is generally made of a harder material than the roller shutter, the fact that the rib is provided on the apparatus housing results in better sliding guidance, which is also less subject to wear.

In this connection, it has also proven to be advantageous if a steel foil with which the roller shutter slides on the rib is attached to the side of the roller shutter facing the apparatus housing, at least in the region of the end thereof facing away from the screen shear foil. Such a steel foil forms a hard support, which improves the properties of the sliding guide and eliminates the risk of the rib provided on the apparatus housing digging into the wall surface of the roller shutter facing the apparatus housing, which on the one hand could impair the smooth movement of the roller shutter and on the other the roller shutter comes into contact with the appliance housing over a large area and could scratch it. Providing such a measure is particularly important in the area of the end of the roller shutter facing away from the screen shear foil, since pressure is exerted on this area by hand when the roller shutter is moved, which results in an increased load on the sliding guide.

It has also proven to be advantageous if the sliding guide is formed by rolling elements which are located one behind the other in the direction of displacement of the roller shutter and protrude from the apparatus housing. In this way, good sliding guidance for the roller shutter is also obtained, which keeps it at a distance from the apparatus housing, the roller shutter and the apparatus housing being in contact with one another over particularly small surface sections. The rolling elements can consist of balls or rollers.

In this context it has also proven to be advantageous proven if on the wall surface of the roller shutter facing the apparatus housing there is provided a groove which extends in the direction of displacement thereof and into which the rolling elements of the sliding guide arranged on the apparatus housing engage. Such a channel improves the properties of the sliding guide for the roller shutter and also results in a straight guide for the roller shutter when it is being moved.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings, in which some exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown, to which, however, it should not be limited. 1 shows a dry shaving apparatus with a roller shutter pushed over the screen shaving foil, two sliding guides acting between the roller shutter and the appliance housing, each of which is formed by a rib provided on the appliance housing. Fig. 2 shows the dry shaver according to Fig. 1 in side view. FIG. 3 shows the dry shaving apparatus according to FIG. 1 with the screen shaving foil released by the roller shutter. Fig. 4 shows in side view and in section a section of the guide area for the roller shutter. 5 shows a roller shutter intended for use in a dry shaving apparatus according to FIG. 1 in a top view of its wall surface facing the apparatus housing when it is arranged on the dry shaving apparatus. FIG. 6 shows in the representation of FIG. 1 a dry shaving apparatus in which the sliding guides are formed by intersecting ribs arranged on the apparatus housing. FIG. 7 shows in the representation of FIG. 1 a dry shaving apparatus in which the sliding guides are formed by rolling elements. 8 shows a side view and a section of a section of the guide area for the roller shutter in a dry shaving apparatus according to FIG. 7. FIG. 9 shows a roller shutter intended for use in a dry shaving apparatus according to FIG. 7 in a top view of its wall surface facing the apparatus housing when it is placed on the dry shaver.

Um solche Anforderungen zu erfüllen, besteht der Rolladen beispielsweise aus einem elastischen Träger und mit diesem verbundenen, mit Abstand zueinander liegenden Querstegen.FIGS. 1 and 2 show a dry shaving apparatus which has a basic apparatus 1 and a shaving head frame 2 placed thereon, which together form an apparatus housing 3. The shaving head frame 2 is in a manner not shown here, for example with at least a resilient latch, releasably held on the base 1. Such a shaving head frame serves to hold a curved sieve shaving foil which is completely covered by a roller shutter 4 in FIGS. 1 and 2 in order to protect the sieve shear foil when the dry shaving apparatus is not in use. This roller shutter 4 is arranged displaceably on the apparatus housing 3, wherein it is guided laterally on both sides in the groove-shaped guides 5 and 6 provided on the apparatus housing 3, indicated in FIGS. 1 and 2 by dashed lines. The roller shutter 4 can be pushed from the basic apparatus 1 over the shaving head frame 2 and the screen shaving foil, for which purpose the guides 5 and 6 for the roller shutter from the basic apparatus 1 continue in the side walls 7 and 8 of the shaving head frame 2, where they then, on the curvature of the Screen shaving foil adjusted, curved. If the dry shaving apparatus is to be used for shaving, the roller shutter 4 is pushed back from its position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 onto the base apparatus 1 until it releases the shaving foil for shaving, as shown in FIG. 3, in the present case as it is is pushed far back that the shaving head frame 2 is released so that it can be removed from the basic apparatus 1, for example for cleaning purposes or for exchanging the screen shaving foil 10 held on the longitudinal webs 9 of the shaving head frame 2. Such a roller shutter 4 is subject to the requirements that it has good stability in the transverse direction so that it can reliably protect the screen shear film 10, but on the other hand is well flexible in the longitudinal direction in order to adapt to the course of a screen sheave 10 which is also relatively strongly curved can. In order to meet such requirements, the roller shutter consists, for example, of an elastic support and transverse webs connected to it and spaced apart from one another.

Such a roller shutter should be able to be moved easily on the apparatus housing and should not damage, in particular scratch, the apparatus housing when it is moved. To achieve this, it is provided that the wall surface of the roller shutter 4 facing the appliance housing 3 runs at a distance from the appliance housing 3 and that between the roller shutter 4 and the Apparatus housing 3 is effective at least one sliding guide, which results in a locally limited contact course between the roller shutter 4 and the apparatus housing 3 in the displacement direction of the roller shutter.

As can be seen in FIG. 4, which shows a section around the region of the guide 5, the groove-shaped guides 5 and 6 are for the lateral guidance of the roller shutter 4, into which the latter is, for example, provided with lateral approaches shown in FIG. 5 11 engages in wall sections 12 and 13 of the device housing 3, which are laterally raised at such a level, that the wall surface 14 of the roller shutter 4 facing the device housing 3 extends at a distance from the device housing 3. This distance, which is denoted by a in Fig. 4, is chosen so large that between the wall surface 14 of the roller shutter 4 facing the appliance housing 3 and the appliance housing 3 there is certainly no large-area contact, as a result of which the roller shutter 4 runs smoothly without major friction the apparatus housing 3 is displaceable, and there can also be no damage to the apparatus housing 3, in particular no scratching thereof.

It is further provided that between the roller shutter 4 and the apparatus housing 3 slide guides are effective, which in the present embodiment are formed by two ribs 15 and 16 provided on the apparatus housing 3, which run in the direction of displacement of the roller shutter and also extend over the longitudinal webs 9 of the shaving head frame 2 extend, as can be seen from Fig. 3. On these ribs 15 and 16, the roller shutter 4 with its wall surface 14 facing the appliance housing 3 slidably, which results in a locally limited course of contact between the roller shutter 4 and the appliance housing 3, since the roller shutter and the appliance housing only have relatively small surface sections with one another to be in contact. In this way, the ribs 15 and 16 form locally limited supports for the roller shutter 4, which keep its wall surface 14 facing the apparatus housing 3 safely at a distance from the apparatus housing 3. Such supports are therefore important so that the roller shutter 4 under the pressure exerted on it by hand, when moving along the apparatus housing 3, can not bend, so that it always maintains the intended distance a to the apparatus housing.

The fact that in the present case the ribs 15 and 16 are arranged on the apparatus housing means that, like the apparatus housing 3, they consist of a relatively hard material, which results in good sliding guidance and practically no wear. Since the material used for a roller shutter is generally not as hard as the material used for the apparatus housing, it could happen that the ribs 15 and 16 dig into the wall surface 14 of the roller shutter 4 facing the apparatus housing 3, which does not more would be ensured that the roller shutter runs at the desired distance from the apparatus housing. This affects in particular the area of the end of the roller shutter 4 facing away from the screen shear foil 10, which is conveniently gripped by hand to move the roller shutter and thereby exerts pressure on it. This end region of the roller shutter can also be designed specifically as a handle part 17. In this context, it has proven to be particularly advantageous if a steel foil 18 is attached in this end region of the roller shutter 4, on its wall surface 14 facing the apparatus housing 3, as shown in FIG. 5. In this way, a hard bearing surface for the ribs 15 and 16 is obtained on the roller shutter 4, which ensures good sliding properties and is not subject to wear. Of course, it would also be possible to apply a steel foil to the entire wall surface 14 of the roller shutter 4 facing the apparatus housing 3. In the present exemplary embodiment, the steel foil 18 extends essentially over the entire width of the roller shutter 4, which gives it a secure hold on the roller shutter. As such, however, it would also be possible to attach individual steel foil sections to the wall surface 14 of the roller shutter 4 only in the area of the ribs 15 and 16.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, ribs are also provided on the apparatus housing 3 as sliding guides, namely here there are three ribs 19, 20 and 21, which are arranged in a crossing star-shaped pattern, their effectiveness essentially in the direction of displacement the shutter 4 are oriented. The operation of these ribs 19, 20 and 21 is analogous to the operation of the ribs 15 and 16 of the previously described embodiment. If desired, a further rib running across the star point could also be provided. Of course, other patterns of ribs which are essentially oriented in the direction of displacement of the roller shutter would also be possible, such as, for example, ribs which undulate in the direction of displacement of the roller shutter.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7, two sliding guides are provided, which are formed by rolling elements, in the present case balls, which lie one behind the other in the displacement direction of the roller shutter 4 and protrude from the apparatus housing 3. One sliding guide consists of balls 22, 23 and 24 and the other sliding guide consists of balls 25, 26 and 27. In this way, the sliding guides result in a locally limited contact path between the roller shutter 4 and the apparatus housing 3, in which the roller shutter and the apparatus housing are in contact with one another via particularly small surface sections, corresponding to the spherical caps projecting from the apparatus housing. Fig. 8 shows the arrangement of the balls, for example the ball 22, in the apparatus housing 3, each of the balls being accommodated in a cage 29 provided on the apparatus housing 3 and closed by a cover 28 and under the action of a spring 30 from a in the apparatus housing 3 provided opening 31 is pressed out of the same dome-shaped.

In the case of the slide guides present here, it has proven to be advantageous if, on the wall surface 14 of the roller shutter 4 facing the device housing 3, grooves 32 and 33 are provided, which run in the direction of displacement thereof and are assigned to the two slide guides and into which the balls of the two arranged on the device housing 3 are provided Intervene sliding guides. As a result, the properties of the sliding guides for the roller shutters are improved, while at the same time a straight guide for the roller shutter 4 is obtained when it is moved. The wall surface facing the apparatus housing 3 14 of the roller shutter 4 again runs at a distance from the apparatus housing 3 designated by a.

As can be seen, there are a number of possible modifications of the exemplary embodiments described above, without thereby leaving the scope of the invention. This applies in particular to the arrangement and design of the sliding guides effective between the roller shutter and the apparatus housing.
