Abstract

An electric door opener with a changer freeing or blocking a latch is described, which changer is detachably engaged with an electromagnetically operable inner armature. An electromagnetically controllable locking device prevents disengagement of the inner armature from the changer, e.g. as a result of an impact. The locking device has a locking lever provided with a detent and a control edge. The lever engages a corresponding projection on the inner armature. An outer armature acting on the control edge initially deflects the locking lever to overcome the locking action and, after a predetermined forward movement, drives the inner armature to release the changer.

Claims (9)

1. Electric door opener with a coil assembly (3), which acts on a resiliently pretensioned outer and inner armature (17, 18) and with a changer (9) engaging with the inner armature (18) for locking or releasing a door opener catch (10), characterized in that there is a resiliently pretensioned bolt (6, 26) operable by the coil assembly (3) and which in the locked state of the changer (9) is detachably engaged therewith for securing the position of the inner armature (18).
2. Door opener according to claim 1, characterized in that the bolt (6, 26) is constituted by a locking lever (11) mounted in a pivot pin and whose free end is provided with a projection (6), which is in detachable engagement with a corresponding edge (26) on the inner armature (18), that the locking lever (7) has a control edge (5), which is engaged with a control lever operable by the coil assembly in such a way that during a movement of the control lever along the control edge the locking bolt (7) is deflected for releasing the inner armature.
3. Door opener according to claim 2, characterized in that the outer armature (17) serves as a control lever and that the outer armature (17) with respect to the inner armature (18) is provided with a predetermined free run for the precontrol of the locking lever.
4. Door opener according to claim 3, characterized in that the outer armature (17) and inner armature (18) are interconnected for forming the free run via a driver (20), which has a corresponding clearance.
5. Door opener according to one of the claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the locking lever (7) is mounted on the spindle (24) of changer (9).
6. Door opener to one of the claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the stop edge (26) of the inner armature (18) comprises a sheet metal part having an elongated hole (31) and screwed onto the inner armature (18).
7. Door opener according to claim 6, characterized in that the sheet metal part is provided with a tongue (28) passing over the free end of the locking lever (7) for guiding the latter.
8. Door opener according to one of the claims 2 to 7, characterized in that a compression spring (25) is positioned between the locking lever (7) and a casing wall (8) of the door opener.
9. Door opener according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that in its pivoting direction, the inner armature (18) is kept at a predetermined distance from the free end of the changer (9) with the aid of a spacer (27) supported on the casing.
