Aus der DE-A-1 603 002 ist ein Ski bekannt, bei dem entweder im Vorderteil oder im Vorder- und Hinterteil des Skis eine Druckkammer, kombiniert mit einer oder mehreren Federn, ausgestattet ist und die Druckverhältnisse in der Druckkammer mit Hilfe von Luft, Gas oder Flüssigkeit verändert werden können. Die Druckkammer ist dabei nur in Längsrichtung des Skis ausdehnbar und nur eines der Enden der Druckkammer wird durch die Druckfeder(n) begrenzt. Die Druckkammer ist über ihren gesamten horizontal auf bzw. in dem Ski verlaufenden Bereich nicht elastisch, sondern starr; bei einer Ausführungsform ist eine zusätzliche Verstärkung des Inneren der Druckkammer durch Verstrebungen vorgesehen. Durch ein Ventil der Kammer wird ein bestimmter Druck aufgegeben. Bei Erhöhung des Drucks dehnt sich diese einseitig in Längsrichtung auf die Druckfedern zu aus. Damit wird jedoch nur ein Ski erzielt, der entsprechend dem aufgegebenen Druck eine gleichbleibende vorbestimmte Härte aufweist. Konstruktionsbedingt ist eine Schwingungsdämpfung nur an einer Stelle des Vorder- und gegebenenfalls des Hinterteils des Skis möglich, nämlich im Bereich der Feder(n). Diese Stellen liegen äußerst ungünstig außerhalb der Bereiche, in denen beim Skilauf Vertikalbewegungen und Torsion wirksam werden. Durch die fehlende Ausdehnungsmöglichkeit der Druckkammer(n) nach oben, unten und den Längsseiten zu wird eine Torsion des Skis sogar gegenüber den herkömmlichen ohne Druckkammer(n) erschwert. Es fehlt jede Eignung und Fähigkeit des Skis, jeweils in kurzer Zeit einem verstärkten Andruck bei Einwirkung vertikaler Kraft im Bereich des Vorderteils und/oder des Hinterteils des Skis nachzugeben. Ebensowenig ist das Druckkammer-/Federsystem in der Lage, das Vorder- und/oder das Hinterteil des Skis kurzfristig wieder in die Ausgangsform nach oben oder unten zu drücken, sobald die vertikale Krafteinwirkung nachläßt. Dem Benutzer wird somit letztlich nur die Möglichkeit gegeben, für unterschiedliche Schneeverhältnisse durch bestimmte Druckaufgabe eine festbestimmte Härte zu geben. Aus der AT-A-376 890 ist ferner eine Stabilisierungseinrichtung für Skier in Form von Verstärkungsaufsätzen bekannt, die aus zickzack- oder wellenförmigem Profil besteht,mit dem Ski starr verbunden und torsionssteif ausgebildet ist. Damit soll eine Stabilisierung und Schwingungsdämpfung erreicht werden. Der Verstärkungsaufsatz wird dazu in einer einmal vorgegebenen Auslegung montiert. Er selbst und damit der Ski sind bezüglich der Dämpfungs- und Versteifungswirkung nicht veränderbar und wirken zudem nur einer Durchbiegung des Vorderteils bzw. des Hinterteils des Skis nach oben in vertikaler Richtung entgegen. Zur Änderung der Steifigkeit und Dämpfung ist nach der AT-A-376 890 die Montage eines anders ausgelegten Verstärkungsaufsatzes unabdingbar. Dadurch wird nur eine Durchbiegung der Schaufel und/oder des Hinterteils des Skis nach oben verhindert bzw. verringert und auch durch Verstellung der Schrauben nur diese Gegenkraft verstärkt. Eine Anpassung des Skis derart, daß z.B. die Schaufel zur Flexion nach unten gebracht wird, und schnelles Ein- und Ausfedern der Schaufel und/oder des Hinterteils des Skis, wird nicht erreicht. Schließlich ist auch bei der Vorrichtung nach der FR-A-2 527 462 wie bei der AT-A-376 890 die Torsionsfähigkeit des Skis eingeschränkt, wenn nicht ausgeschlossen. Mit der Schaffung eines Skis mit Ausgleichselementen gemäß der Erfindung des Anmelders, die Gegenstand der deutschen Patentanmeldung P 35 27 996.6 (DE-A-35 27 996) ist, gelang bereits ein maßgeblicher Entwicklungsschritt bei der Schaffung des universell ohne Beeinträchtigung der Fahreigenschaften einsetzbaren Skis. Jene Erfindung hat jedoch noch den Nachteil, daß die dort vorwiegend vorgesehenen mechanischen Vorrichtungen für die Änderung der Steifigkeit, Elastizität und Torsion des Skis nur eine Verstellbarkeit im Grobraster zulassen, nicht jedoch eine kontinuierliche Feinverstellung. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that in the hardness regulating element (10, 11) consists of the substantially stiff strap element (10) which is firmly attached to the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski with its one end (10') at the transition to the center portion (1) and before the area (4) with the hardness compensating elements (5), and of the distance element (11) located between the free end of the strap element (10) and the rear portion (3) close to the latter's tail end and/or the front portion (2) in the area where it changes into the shovel, the strap element (10) lapping over the area (4) with the hardness compensating elements (5) and the distance element is pneumatically, hydraulically, or mechanically adjustable as to its length and/or height in that the volume change takes place in known manner by means of flexible hollow bodies pneumatically or hydraulically changing in volume or by mechanical means (distance screws, snap-in devices, excenters, scissor-type devices, or the like).
  5. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element (12, 13) consists of the substantially stiff strap element (12) which is firmly attached to the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, with its one end (12') at the tail end of the rear portion (3) and at the front portion (2) where it changes into the shovel, and of the distance element (13) located between the free end (12'') of the strap element (12) and the front portion (2) and/or the rear portion (3) close to their transition into the center portion (1), the strap element (12) lapping over the area (4) with the hardness compensating elements (5) and the distance element is pneumatically, hydraulically, or mechanically adjustable as to its length and/or height in that the volume change takes place in known manner by means of flexible hollow bodies pneumatically or hydraulically changing in volume or by mechanical means (distance screws, snap-in devices, excenters, scissor-type devices, or the like).
  6. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element consists of a chamber (19) provided on the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, integrated into the ski in longitudinal direction, said chamber having a rectangular, trapezoidal or square cross-section or a domed upper side and horizontal under side, of carbon, carbon fiber or other firm but elastic material and additional compensating elements (17) of soft, permanently elastic and air and liquid-tight material, the hardness compensating elements (16) being let in over the chamber (19) cross to the longitudinal direction of the ski into the ski's top surface and reaching close to the ski's outer edges, and an additional compensating element (17) is inserted in the chamber (19) under one hardness compensating element (16) each, also cross to the ski's longitudinal direction, furthermore that the additional compensating element (17) comprises a hollow space inside which via a feed line (18) is connected with the hollow spaces of the neighbouring additional compensating elements (17) and a feeding device for compressed air and hydraulic liquid and pressurizing, and that the chamber (19) comprises recesses at its upper side in the area of the elements (16 and 17) via which the elements (16 and 17) are connected with each other.
  7. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element consists of a chamber (22) provided in the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, running in longitudinal direction of the ski, said chamber having a rectangular, trapezoidal or square cross-section or a domed upper side and horizontal under side, of carbon, carbon fiber or other firm but elastic material, and one or two hydraulic/pneumatic elements (21, 25) provided in the said chamber in the part of the ski adjoining the center portion (1) and between them running in longitudinal direction of the ski, a substantially stiff strap element (26) attached at one end of the chamber (22), the said hydraulic/pneumatic elements being closed hollow bodies which via feed lines (23, 24) are connected with a feeding device for compressed air and hydraulic liquid and pressurizing, and that the hardness compensating elements (16) are let in cross to the longitudinal direction of the ski in the ski's top surface and extend close to the lateral edges of the ski.
  8. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element consists of a chamber (30) provided on the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, running in longitudinal direction of and integrated into the ski, said chamber having a rectangular, trapezoidal or square cross-section and containing toothed strips (28, 29) positioned one above the other with their teeth opposite each other and an adjustable hollow chamber (27) provided above the pair of toothed strips (28, 29) or between them and another pair of toothed strips (28, 29), the toothed strip (29) being firmly attached to the bottom of the chamber (30) so as to be vertically immovable while the toothed strip (28) is vertically movable, and the hollow chamber (27) is filled with compressed air or hydraulic liquid by means of a feeding device and by pressurization the teeth of the toothed strip (28) are pressed against the teeth of the toothed strip (29), furthermore that the hardness compensating elements (16) provided in the area (4) of the ski above the chamber (30) cross to the longitudinal direction of the ski reach close to the lateral edges of the ski and that the chamber (30) as well as the toothed strips (28, 29) consist of carbon, carbon fiber, or other firm but elastic material.
  9. Ski in accordance with patent claims 1 and 8, characterized in that the toothed strips (28) on the one hand and (29) on the other in their relationship to each other have, and/or each of the toothed strips in itself has, teeth with different angle positions and/or different distances between the individual teeth.
  10. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element consists of a chamber (35) provided on the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, integrated into the ski in longitudinal direction, said chamber having a rectangular, trapezoidal or square cross-section and comprising, firmly attached to each of its inner lateral walls, a profile (32) of stiff material with slot-formed indentations provided at intervals and in longitudinal direction of the ski, centered between the two profiles (32), cams (33) that are rotatable around vertical axes and preferably have elliptical shape, furthermore that the cams (33) cooperate with the two profiles (31) located opposite the profiles (32) each and matching the latter in profile and are also provided at intervals with slot-formed indentations (36, 37) offset against each other, and that several cams (33) are jointly and uniformly adjustable by means of toothed wheels (34) provided at them, the cams (33) when in their position cross to the longitudinal direction of the ski pressing the profiles (31 and 32) against each other, and that the hardness compensating elements (16) provided in the area (4) of the ski above the chamber (35) cross to the longitudinal direction of the ski reach close to the lateral edges of the ski and that the chamber (35) consists of carbon, carbon fiber, or other firm but elastic material.
  11. Ski in accordance with patent claims 1 and 10, characterized in that in the chamber (40) with the two profiles (43) corresponding to the chamber (35) with the profiles (32) a hydraulic/pneumatic element (41) is provided instead of the cams (33) centered between the two profiles (43) in longitudinal direction of the ski, such hydraulic/pneumatic element (41) having the form of a closed hollow body which is connected via a feed line with a feeding device for hydraulic liquid or compressed air and pressurizing, and that the hydraulic/pneumatic element (41) cooperates with the two profiles (42) corresponding to the profiles (31), and that upon pressurization of the hydraulic/pneumatic element (41) the profiles (42) and (43) are pressed against each other.
  12. Ski in accordance with patent claims 1, 10, and 11, characterized in that in the chamber (44) with the two profiles (48) corresponding to the chambers (35 and 40) with the profiles (32 and 43) two hydraulic/pneumatic elements (45) are provided centered between the two profiles (48) in longitudinal direction of the ski with an intermediate profile (47) provided between them, the sides (46) of such hydraulic/pneumatic elements (45) facing the profiles (47 and 48) matching the latter in profile and upon pressurization are pressed into the profiles (47 and 48).
  13. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element consists of a chamber (51) provided in the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, integrated into the ski in longitudinal direction, said chamber having a rectangular, trapezoidal or square cross-section or a domed upper side and horizontal under side, and inside the chamber over its length a tie band (49) is firmly attached at the two ends of the chamber (51) in such manner that it leads from the bottom of the end of the chamber (51) adjoining the center portion (1) of the ski to the top of the opposite end of the chamber (51), and that in the upper part of the chamber (51) bounded by the diagonal tie band (49) or else in both parts of the chamber formed by the diagonal tie band (49) hydraulic/pneumatic elements (50) are provided as closed hollow bodies which via the feed line (52) are connected with a feeding device for hydraulic liquid or compressed air and pressurizing, furthermore that the hardness compensating elements (16) in the area (4) of the ski above the chamber (51) cross to the longitudinal direction of the ski reach close to its lateral edges and that the chamber (51) as well as the tie band (49) consist of carbon, carbon fiber, or other firm but elastic material.
  14. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element consists of a chamber (53) provided on the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, integrated into the ski in longitudinal direction, said chamber having a rectangular, trapezoidal or square cross-section or a domed upper side and horizontal under side, of carbon, carbon fiber or other firm but elastic material and several tension elements (54) of substantially rigid material with hollow or foamed interior space (67) arranged one after the other in longitudinal direction of the ski are provided inside the chamber (53), such elements being pressed against each other in adjustable manner by means of a tension band (55) firmly attached to the first tension element (54) and loosely led through the other tension elements in longitudinal direction and of a known tension lever, and that the tension band (55) consists of carbon, carbon fiber, or other firm but elastic material, furthermore that the hardness compensating elements (16) in the area (4) of the ski above the chamber (53) cross to the longitudinal direction of the ski extend close to its lateral edges.
  15. Ski in accordance with patent claims 1 and 14, characterized in that the tension elements (57) corresponding to the tension elements (54) comprise surfaces of matching profiles at their front and rear ends in longitudinal direction of the ski, in particular in angular form, and between each two tension elements (57) an intermediate element (56) of permanently elastic material with selectable degree of hardness is inserted, while the tension band (58) corresponds to the tension band (55).
  16. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element consists of a chamber (63) provided on the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, integrated into the ski in longitudinal direction, said chamber having a rectangular, trapezoidal or square cross-section or a domed upper side and horizontal under side, of carbon, carbon fiber or other firm but elastic material and inside the chamber (63) profiled elements (59) and (60) are inserted which, arranged one after the other in longitudinal direction of the ski, loosely interlock at their respective ends by means of matching profiles and that in each such interlocking area a hydraulic/pneumatic element (61) is provided, such hydraulic/pneumatic element being a closed hollow body which via a feed line (62) is connected with a feeding device for hydraulic liquid or compressed air and pressurizing, furthermore that the hardness compensating elements (16) in the area (4) of the ski above the chamber (63) cross to the longitudinal direction of the ski extend close to its lateral edges.
  17. Ski in accordance with patent claim 1, characterized in that the hardness regulating element consists of a chamber (64) of circular or oval cross-section provided on the rear portion (3) and/or the front portion (2) of the ski, integrated into the ski in longitudinal direction, and inside the chamber (64) a hose-type hydraulic/pneumatic element (66) is provided as a closed hollow body the outside of which is covered by a cross-woven fabric (65), preferably as hose fabric, that the hydraulic/pneumatic element (66) is connected via a feed line with a feeding device for hydraulic liquid or compressed air and pressurizing, and that the chamber (64) and the hydraulic/pneumatic element (66) consist of carbon, carbon fiber, or other firm but elastic material.
