- the invention further relates to lead tapes of all kinds for roofing and facade cladding or auxiliary materials for roof and wall.
- Lead aprons are used to achieve a watertight transition between the roof frame of a roof window and the roof. Larger rolls of material are unwound from the frame and then stretched to match the shape of the roof tiles. For this purpose, the material is pressed into the recess of the brick with a wood, whereby cracks often occur in the lead apron, through which water can penetrate. Since the lead apron is directly exposed to the weather, the lead has weathered over the years, so that from the beginning you have to choose a thicker layer than is actually necessary.
