- the edge parts 39, 40, 41 and the inclined area 42 enclose a mounting opening 44, with which the post on the upper end of the post of an underlying device is put on.
- the attachment opening 44 is larger than the corresponding post dimension, at least in the longitudinal direction of the crossmember 9. This is useful because otherwise the four posts would have to form an exact rectangle for each stacking package. In practice, however, the two devices that are attached to a stack are usually somewhat offset from one another in the longitudinal direction. Despite this inaccuracy, the stack packs can be placed one on top of the other because of the larger placement opening 40 with respect to the upper post end.
