Die Vorrichtung gemäß der Erfindung weist eine Reihe von wesentlichen Vorteilen auf. Die Kurventeile können bei stationärer Anbringung als einfache Bauelemente ausgebildet sein, die keinerlei Wartung erfordern. Wesentlich ist weiterhin, daß die Kurventeile es bei entsprechender Ausgestaltung auch erlauben, gewisse Abweichungen, die sich bezüglich der Höhenlage des Deckels über dem Straßenniveau oder Gleisniveau ergeben, Rechnung zu tragen. Zweifellos wird in Abhängigkeit von der Beschaffenheit beispielsweise der Federung des Kesselwagens, vom Beladungszustand - es können noch Reste der früheren Ladung im Kesselwagen sein, die die Federung zusammendrücken - und von anderen Einflüssen die Höhenlage des Deckels jedes Wagens beispielsweise eines Eisenbahnzuges variieren. Die Erfindung gibt ohne weiteres die Möglichkeit, Toleranzen bis zu 100 mm auszugleichen. Mit größeren Toleranzen braucht nicht gerechnet zu zu werden, da diese von den Eisenbahngesellschaften nicht akzeptiert werden. Vorrichtung zum Betätigen des Verschlußdeckels der Einfüllöffnung eines Kesselwagens, der oberseitig mit einem Dom versehen ist, an welchem der Deckel mittels eines nahe dem Rand der Öffnung befindlichen Scharniers schwenkbar angebracht ist, wobei wenigstens ε·in den Deckel in seiner Schließlage sicherndes, neben dem Dom befindliches und schwenkbar angebrachtes Schließelement vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Achse (20) des Scharniers im wesentlichen parallel zur Fahrtrichtung (48) des Kesselwagens (12) angeordnet ist und dem Deckel (16) ein letzteren in Öffnungsrichtung beaufschlagendes Federelement (42) zugeordnet ist und das armförmige Schließelement (28) um eine unterhalb des Deckelniveaus angeordnete Achse (26) schwenkbar angebracht ist, die im wesentlichen parallel zur Fahrtrichtung (48) des Kesselwagens (12) verläuft, und unter der Einwirkung eines den Schließarm (28) in Richtung auf seine Schließlage beaufschlaqenden Federelements (38) steht und an einem Ort, an welchem der Deckel (16) zu öffnen ist, wenigstens ein erstes Kurventeil (50) angeordnet ist, welches im Zuge einer Relativbewegung gegenüber dem Kesselwagen (12) den Schließarm (28) gegen die Wirkung des ihn beaufschlagenden Federelements (38) in eine Lage verschwenkt, in welcher er außer Eingriff mit dem Deckel (16) ist, und in Fahrtrichtung des Kesselwagens (12) wenigstens ein zweites Kurventeil'(56) angeordnet ist, welches den durch das ihn beaufschlagende Federelement (42) etwas angehobene Deckel (12) im Zuge einer Relativbewegung zwischen Wagen (12) und zweitem Kurventeil (56) untergreift und in seine Offenlage verschwenkt.1.
