Description

Rail-bound vehicles develop noise, especially at higher speeds and relatively small wheel diameters, which is particularly annoying for trams that travel in densely populated areas, but such problems also occur with railway vehicles, as this is mainly due to the desired high speeds significant noise is to be expected.

The invention relates to a device for rail-bound vehicles, soundproofing material, in particular in plate form, preferably in aprons of the vehicle side walls extending from the floor level towards the area of the running plane, being arranged in the area between the floor level and the running level of the vehicle. In a rail-bound vehicle known from DE-OS 23 36 700, the soundproofing material was arranged in the form of plates in the area between the floor level and the running level of the vehicle. Furthermore, the soundproofing material is arranged in aprons that extend from the floor level to the area of the running level.

The problem with such a sound insulation material arrangement is the manner in which the sound insulation material is installed and also the replacement of the sound insulation material after any damage, whether due to rotting or • also due to damage to the. Metal aprons in accidents and the like

Finding a solution here is the object of the invention, which is that the soundproofing material is embedded in trays, preferably made of corrosion-resistant material, for example made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, and that the trays are optionally provided with perforated plates, for example made of aluminum sheet , are covered, which are assigned in particular to the interior of the vehicle. The trays can be easily installed and removed, which makes it possible to retrofit existing vehicles with sound insulation, but also to replace the sound insulation material is made possible by another, possibly more suitable one. Complete sound insulation elements can thus be prefabricated and then installed in the vehicle at any desired time. This can happen both in the course of the new production as well as in vehicles already in operation.

Polyurethanschaumstoff, einzusetzen.Tel-wool, for example, can be used as sound insulation material, but it is also possible to use sound insulation foam, in particular polyurethane foam.

It is particularly expedient to dampen noise that arises in the area of the bogies, that is to say in the immediate vicinity of the wheels of the vehicle. For this purpose, it is provided in a special embodiment of the invention that the soundproofing material is held in a manner known per se on the bogie, in particular on its platform clearer, and preferably extends approximately from the leveling plane facing the running level to the area of the level of the axis of travel Bogie stretches.

It has proven to be particularly expedient if there is a space between the bottom of the tub and the wall of the apron adjacent to the bottom. With this configuration, it is possible to avoid any vibrations in the tub being transmitted to the apron, which would cause additional noise.

Particularly favorable results with regard to sound insulation can be achieved if, in a special further embodiment of the device according to the invention, the trough only on two opposite edges, e.g. is connected by screws to the apron, preferably via support brackets connected to the apron. In this way, particularly favorable absorption of the sound is achieved.

For the purpose of soundproofing the bogie area, it can be provided that the trough is supported on support brackets attached to the side rails of the rail clearer. This type of attachment has proven to be particularly simple displayed.

In a special embodiment of the invention, the trough can be inserted with a side edge between two strips projecting substantially vertically from a horizontally arranged leg of the support bracket. This allows a particularly simple assembly. The strips can be flanges of a U-profile attached to the horizontal leg of the bracket.

The attachment of the trough to the support bracket is simplified if, in a special embodiment of the invention, at least two uprights, in particular in the form of a tube, are arranged in the trough, each of which is or the like using a screw. Fastening means is attached to a substantially vertically arranged leg of the bracket.

  • 2 on a larger scale than a section along the line II-II in Fig. 1,

In the drawing, 1 denotes the level of the floor of the (not shown) passenger compartment of a rail-bound vehicle, in particular a tram car. The running level of the vehicle, ie the top edge of the rail, is designated by 2. The impellers are omitted for clarity. Between the floor level 1 and the running level 2 of the vehicle is in the box zen 4 of the vehicle side wall 5 soundproofing material 3 arranged. Sheets of TeI wool can be used as soundproofing material. Sound insulation material 3 can also be arranged on the bogie 6 (FIGS. 4 and 5). The soundproofing material 3 is preferably held on the rail clearer 7, which follows the pivoting movements of the bogie and is connected to the frame 30 of the bogie via a support 29. The soundproofing material on the bogie is preferably arranged in such a way that it extends from the area of the leveling plane 8 facing the running plane 2 to the area of the plane of the running axes 9 of the bogie (FIG. 6). In this way, a favorable sound shielding from the outside is achieved.

For assembly reasons and also for reasons of prefabrication, it is advantageous if the soundproofing material 3 is embedded in trays 10. The tubs 10 are made of corrosion-resistant material. Glass fiber reinforced plastic is particularly suitable for this. It is not necessary to cover all the aprons provided on the rail vehicle with sound-absorbing material. As is known, electrical appliances and the like can also be used in the aprons. be arranged. Such aprons are therefore often no longer provided with sound insulation material 3. However, there can be the electrical equipment box or the like. be provided with sound-absorbing material in order to achieve improved sound insulation in these areas as well.

The tubs 10 can be closed to the outside by plates 12. The panels 12 must have perforations 11 (for acoustic reasons). The plates can be made of aluminum sheet. When assembled, the panels face the interior of the vehicle, i.e. the tubs 10 arranged in opposite side wall aprons of the vehicle are facing each other with their cover plates 12.

A space 15 is present between the bottom 14 of the tubs 10 and the wall of the apron 4 adjacent to the bottom. The tub 10 is connected to the apron 4 only at two mutually opposite edges 16, 17. Screws 18 are preferred for connection turns. The number of screws to be used for fastening depends on the size of the tub or apron in which the tub is installed. Support brackets 19, 20, which in turn are connected to the apron, for example by welding, are used to connect the tubs 10 to the respective apron 4. On the bogies, the trough 10 is supported by support brackets which are fastened to the side rails of the rail clearer, for example by means of screws 31. The tub 10 is placed on the bracket 21. The trough 10 is inserted with a side edge 22 between two strips 24 projecting vertically from a horizontally arranged leg 23 of the support bracket 21, as can be seen in FIG. 6.

The strips 24 are preferably formed by the flanges of a U-profile 25 fastened to the horizontal leg 23 of the mounting bracket 21. The U-profile 25 can be connected by welding to the horizontal leg 23 of the bracket 21.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, uprights 26 are arranged in the tub. These uprights can be formed by pipes. Each upright 26 is fastened to a vertical leg 28 of the support bracket 21 by means of a screw 27.
