Bei einer Ausbildung eines Wagenkastens gemäß der Erfindung wird die Dachabschlußplatte von Dachbelastungen freigehalten, die insbesondere durch dort vorgasehene schwere Hilfsaggregate wie Stromabnehmer, Klimaanlage, Steuer- und Regelgeräte, Bremswiderstände und dergleichen gegeben sind. Die daraus erwachsenen Kräfte werden über die außenliegenden Querspriegel unmittelbar auf die Dachlangträger übemagen. Die Dachabschlußplatte kann somit bei verminderteter notwendiger Belastbarkeit in einer leichteren Bauweise realisiert werden. Zudem ergibt sich durch die Verlagerung der Querspriegel nach außen eine freiere Gestaltungsmöglichkeit für den Innnenausbau der Wagenkastendecke. Dabei sind keine zusätzlichen Bauteile erforderlich, nachdem die Spriegel lediglich von der Innenseite nach außen auf die Oberseite des Wagenkastens verlagert sind. Vorzugsweise tragen die Querspriegel neben den Hilfsaggregaten auch wenigstens eine Kastenabdeckung, wobei entweder eine Kastenabdeckung zumindest weltgehend alle Querspriegel überdeckt oder einzelne Kastenabdeckungen verschiedenen Hilfsaggregaten zugeordnet sind. Durch die Kastenabdeckung/en werden die Hilfsaggregate übergriffen und sind so gegen Witterungs- oder andere Fremdeinflüße geschützt. Auch kann sich Schmutz nicht zwischen den Querspriegeln ablagern. Die Kastenabdeckung ist dabei jeweils mit einem öffenbaren Deckel versehen, durch welchen Zugang zu den einzelnen abgedeckten Hilfsaggregaten möglich ist. Daneben ist es auch möglich, an zumindest einzelne der Querspriegel die Dachabschlußplatte mittels geeigneter Halter anzuhängen, so daß sie ihrerseits durch die Querspriegel unterstützt ist und dadurch in leichterer Bauweise ausgeführt werden kann bzw. außergewöhnlichen Belastungen standhält, wenn beispielsweise bei Arbeiten im Bereich des Daches oder an Hilfsaggregaten eine Person zwischen die Querspriegel und damit auf die Dachabschlußplatte tritt.In an embodiment of a car body according to the invention, the roof end plate kept free of roof loads, in particular by there vorgasehene heavy Auxiliary equipment such as pantographs, air conditioning, control and regulating equipment, Braking resistors and the like are given. Ein Wagenkasten 1 für eine Straßenbahn, U-Bahnen oder dergleichen Fahrzeuge ist im
oberen Bereich mit zwei Wagenkastenlängsrichtung verlaufenden Dachträgern 2
ausgestattet, die mittels quer dazu verlaufender Querspriegel 3 fest miteinander verbunden
sind. Die Dachlangträger 2 sind mit horizontal und zur Wagenkastenmitte gerichteten
Tragarmen 4 ausgestattet, auf welchen die Endabschnitte der Querspriegel 3 aufsitzen. Die
Befestigung erfolgt dabei mittels Zugankern, wie Schrauben oder Niete, wobei zwischen dem
jeweiligen Tragarm und dem zugeordneten Endabschnitt des Querspriegels 3 je zwei
Befestigungsschienen 5 auf den Tragarmen 4 angeordnet sind.A
Zwischen die beiden Dachlangträger 2 ist unterhalb der Querspriegel 3 eine
Dachabschlußplatte 6 eingefügt, die sich zumindest weitgehend über die Länge des
Wagenkastens 1 bzw. der Langträger 2 erstreckt und die luft- und wasserdicht zwischen den
Langträgern 2 gehalten ist Zur Halterung der Abschlußplatte 6 sind die aufeinander
zuweisenden Endbereiche der Dachlangträger 2 nach unten und anschließend wieder zur
Wagenkastenmitte hin abgewinkelt. Zwischen die senkrechten abfallenden Stufenflanken 7.1
ist die Dachabschlußplatte 6 luft- und wasserdicht eingefügt während die waagerecht zur
Wagenkastenmitte hin abgewinkelten Stufenflanken 7.2 die Dachabschltußplatte 6 tragen. DieBetween the two

Wagenkastenlängsrichtung verlaufenden Heizluftkanälen 8 genutzt, die wie die zur Mitte hin
sich anschließenden Frischluftkanäle 9 mit der Dachabschlußplatte 6 eine Baueinheit bilden.
Aus den Heizluftkanälen 8 führen Zuluftleitungen 10 zu den Seiterwandstrukturen 11, in
welchen Belüftungskanäle insbesondere im Bereich von Fenstern 18 vorgesehen sind. Die
Seitenwandstrukturen 11 tragen dabei zugleich die Dachlangträger 2. In der zum Inneraum
des Wagenkasten 1 liegenden Wandung der Frischfuftkanäle 9 befinden sich Zuluftdüsen 12,
durch welche Frischluft aus dem Frischluftkanal 9 in das Innere des Wagenkastens
eingeblasen wird. Die Kanäle 8, 9 stehen dabei mit entsprechenden Belüftungs- bzw.
Mimageräten in funktioneller Verbindung, welche als Hilfsaggregat 13 auf den
Querspriegeln 3 angeordnet sind. Die Hilfsaggregate 13 sind entweder einzeln durch
Kastenabdeckungen 14 gegen Umwelteinflüße geschützt, wobei die Kastenabdeckungen 14
auf Querspriegeln 3 aufsitzen; oder durch Anwendung einer Kastenabdeckung, welche
zumindest weitgehend alle Querspriegel 3 und die auf den Querspriegeln 3 aufgelagerten
Hilfsaggregate 13 im Ganzen überdeckt. Die jeweilige Kastenabdeckung ist mit Deckeln 15
ausgestattet, deren Schwenkachse etwa in der Wagenkastenlängsmitte verfäuft und die
außer der Oberseite auch zumindest eine nach unten abfallende Flanke der
Kastenabdeckung bilden. Innerhalb der Kastenabdeckungen verlaufen auch elektrische,
hydraulische oder pneumatische Leitungen 16 die für Versorgungs-, Steuer- und
Regelwecke der Hilfsaggregate 13 und sonstiger Einrichtungen, wie beispielsweise einer
Beleuchtung 17 im Wagenkasteninneren. In den Seitenwandstrukturen 11 sind im übrigen
die Fenster 18 und Türen 19 vorgesehen. Ein stirnseitig angesetzter Faltenbalg 20 dient der

aufgesetzt und mittels geeigneter Zuganker an den Dachlangträgern 2 befestigt werden. Es
werden dadurch erhebliche Kosten und Montagezeiten bei hoher Qualität eingespart,
nachdem die Baueinheit für sich vormontiert und geprüft werden kann. Wird die
Dachabschlußplatte 6 zusätzlich an die Querspriegel 3 angehängt, kann diese in die
