Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electrical installation device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • NH fuses are generally installed in electrical distribution systems. These NH fuses each consist of an NH fuse link and a specially prepared NH fuse base in which it can be inserted with a special handling device.
  • the lower parts normally have an insulating plate as a support plate, to which L-shaped contact angles are attached at a distance from one another.
  • the leg ends which run perpendicular to the insulating material or support plate, carry fork contacts spring-loaded by a ring spring, into the knife contacts located on the NH fuse links be pinched.
  • the parallel to the insulating support plate and the attached legs of the contact angle are designed as contact pieces and provided with clamping screws for connecting supply and discharge conductors.
  • the NH fuses are in turn in a junction box, which is usually sealed.
  • the known NH fuses have fuse links, which after a response, i. H. need to be replaced after melting due to an overcurrent.
  • the connection housing must be opened and its seal must be released.
  • the replacement of the NH fuse links may only be carried out by an authorized specialist, who must also replace the lead seal on the connection housing equipped with the NH fuses. This affects the handling of the NH fuses.
  • connection device for circuit breakers has become known in which the circuit breakers are assigned connection adapters which can be connected to connection terminals arranged on both sides, the shape that the circuit breaker with terminal lugs can be used in the connection terminals. There is no reference to NH fuses in DE-B-26 04 356.
  • the object of the invention is to improve the handling of the NH fuses.
  • an automatic circuit breaker instead of the usual NH fuse link, an automatic circuit breaker is provided, the knife contacts attached to which engage in the fork contact pieces of the NH fuse base.
  • the switch contact located in the circuit breaker opens automatically and thus interrupts the current flow.
  • the switch contact can be closed by hand by operating a switch toggle without having to open the connection housing. This can be done safely by any person, i.e. that is, an approved professional is no longer required in this case.
  • a commercially available circuit breaker can be provided, with clamping screws provided for connecting the current conductors, to which connecting lugs are fastened, which have knife contacts, which can then be inserted into the fork contacts.
  • the connection lugs on the circuit breaker are installed on site by an approved specialist during the initial installation.
  • FIG. 1 shows an NH fuse base 10 for one phase.
  • This lower fuse part 10 has an insulating material carrier 11, on the upper surface of which L-shaped contact angles 12 and 13 are arranged at a distance from one another.
  • the legs of the contact pieces 14 and 15, which run perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the carrier 11, carry fork contacts 16, 17; these fork contacts 16, 17 are generally known and therefore do not need to be described in detail.
  • the legs 18 and 19 which run parallel to the longitudinal extent of the insulating material carrier 11 carry clamping screws 20 and 21 to which supply and discharge elements (not shown in more detail) can be connected.
  • a circuit breaker 22 are placed, which triggers automatically or can be actuated manually by means of a switching knob 24.
  • the switch toggle 24 is arranged on the front side of the circuit breaker 22 and is shown in FIG. 1 on the right side of the circuit breaker 22 shown in a side view.
  • connecting lugs 26 emerge from the circuit breaker 22, on which knife contact pieces 30, 31 are formed, which engage in the fork contacts 16, 17 of the NH fuse-lower part 10.
  • the connection lugs 26, 28 are each electrically conductively connected to a switch contact (not shown) of the circuit breaker 22, so that a current flows when the switch contacts are closed.
  • the switching knob 26 is actuated or in the case of irregular operating conditions, the circuit breaker 22 trips in a known manner and interrupts the circuit.
  • FIG. 2 shows an arrangement of a novel NH fuse, as is essentially already known from FIG. 1.
  • a circuit breaker 23 is placed, which also trips automatically or can be actuated manually by means of a switching knob 26.
  • the terminals which are not described in any more detail, are designed in a known manner, the terminal bridge being acted upon by two screws.
  • a contact lug 40 is formed at an angle of 90 °, to which a knife contact 31 connects, integrally connected to it.
  • a through bore 42 is provided in the leg 36, the position of which corresponds to a corresponding bore 44 in the housing of the circuit breaker 23. Screws 46 are guided through these mutually aligned bores 42, 44, which are screwed on the side facing the NH lower part by means of nuts 47.
  • the shape of the connecting lugs 28 is dimensionally adapted to the clearance profile of the circuit breaker 23 and lies close to its surface.
  • the outer dimensions of the circuit breaker 23 thereby increase on the narrow sides and on the bottom surface in each case by the thickness of the connecting lugs 28 designed as current conductors.
  • a recess is outlined with hatched lines 48, which receives the connection terminal (not shown in more detail) and the motor space required for fastening the connecting lugs 28.
  • a connecting tab 28 is shown in perspective.
  • the connecting tab 28 is in the form of a U-shaped double bracket made of a flat rod made of conductive material z. B. nickel silver, copper or the like.
  • the upper free leg 34 is provided for connection to the terminals of the circuit breaker 23. For exact adjustment, this leg 34 is set in two steps.
  • a first step 48 serves as a stop against the housing of the circuit breaker, while a second step 50, which is arranged towards the free end, serves as a stop for the connecting terminal.
  • the connecting lug 28 continues at a right angle to the leg 34 in a conductor piece 38. In the installed state, this conductor piece 38 forms the outer boundary of the circuit breaker 23.
  • the length of the conductor piece 38 corresponds to the horizontal distance of the bottom surface 25 of the circuit breaker 23 to its terminal, d. H. the leg 36, which adjoins it at right angles at the lower end of the conductor piece 38, is angled so that it can be inserted tightly into the circuit breaker 23 by hand, but with a certain amount of force in order to bend the resilient legs 34, 36, and already without it further measure maintains its location.
  • the connecting lug 28 is provided with a bore 52 in the leg 36, which runs as an elongated hole in the longitudinal direction of the leg 36 to compensate for tolerances. Aligned with this bore 52, illustrated by the line XX, a further bore 54 is provided in the leg 34, which serves as an assembly opening through which the fastening screws in the bore 52 can be accessed by means of a tool.
  • a contact lug 40 is formed at right angles, to which a knife contact 31 connects, the longitudinal axis of which extends parallel to that of the leg 36 and thus parallel to the longitudinal axis of the circuit breaker 23.
  • the leg 36 is additionally provided with stiffening ribs 56, 58, by means of which the bending stiffness of this arrangement is increased.
  • FIG. 4 shows a cover cap 60 in a perspective view.
  • a rectangular, elongated base plate 62 adapted to the width of the protective switch 23, on the side edges 64 and 65 of which a leg 66 and 67 forming a U are formed; the legs 66, 67 have different lengths; an area 68 with a short leg length is connected via an inclined surface or bevel edge 63 to an area 69 with a longer leg length; this leg length is the side contour of the circuit breaker 23, adapted so that the end edges of the legs 66 and 67 connect exactly to the narrow side surface.
  • a roof part 71 adjoins the upper edge 70 of the base plate 62 at a right angle and continues in a transverse wall 72 which is arranged parallel to the base plate 6.
  • the transverse wall 72 carries a roof-shaped projection 74 which also adjoins it at right angles.
  • the projection 74 projects laterally in some areas and thus forms extensions 76 on both sides, which are interrupted by a transverse slot 77.
  • a coupling part 78 which has two mutually parallel stiffening ribs 80, is placed on the projection 74 symmetrically to an imaginary center line.
  • the free end of the coupling part 78 merges into a crosspiece 82 with a T-shaped attachment 84.
