Description
- La présente invention concerne l'industrie des petites pompes manuelles couramment utilisées pour la distribution ou la pulvérisation de substances liquides ou semi-liquides, notamment de produits ménagers, d'entretien ou cosmétiques, ou encore de produits pharmaceutiques.
- Les pompes du commerce doivent être maintenues généralement verticales, avec une certaine liberté d'inclinaison, pour fonctionner correctement.
- On a conçu également des conditionnements pouvant être utilisés indifféremment en position verticale normale ou retournée, plus particulièrement en conditionnement aérosol.
- Ces dispositifs connus font généralement appel à un ou plusieurs clapets gravimétriques à billes qui conditionnent l'admission du liquide à la pompe, ou à la valve, par un tube plongeur débouchant au fond du récipient, ou au niveau de l'attache de l'autre extrémité du tube plongeur, en bout de la pompe ou de la valve.
- C'est ainsi que le brevet FR-A-2 318 685 décrit une pompe à commande manuelle fonctionnant en position normale ou en position inversée, dans laquelle la commutation des admissions de liquide à la pompe dans l'une ou l'autre des positions est assurée par deux clapets à bille antagonistes.
- Cependant, le fonctionnement de ces dispositifs connus est incertain pour des inclinaisons importantes, voisines à ±5 % de l'horizontale, car la ou les billes n'occupent pas alors une position opérationnelle stable dans leur logement.
- L'invention a pour but de pallier les inconvénients précités des dispositifs classiques et de permettre de réaliser des pompes fonctionnant pratiquement en toutes positions.
- L'invention a pour objet une pompe à commande manuelle utilisable en toutes positions, comprenant un corps de pompe solidarisable du col d'un récipient renfermant la substance à distribuer, prolongé axialement vers l'intérieur du récipient par un téton tubulaire auquel est fixé un tube axial plongeant jusqu'au fond du récipient et communiquant avec l'intérieur du corps de pompe, l'élément mobile de la pompe, sollicité par un ressort de rappel en éloignement de l'élément fixe de la pompe, étant solidaire d'un poussoir manuel axial comportant une buse de distribution de la substance pompée, en communication avec l'intérieur du corps de pompe, un premier clapet anti-retour non gravimétrique, d'admission, étant intercalé entre le tube plongeur et le corps de pompe, un clapet gravimétrique d'interdiction d'admission en position retournée étant intercalé entre le tube plongeur et le premier clapet, et un clapet antiretour de refoulement étant intercalé entre l'intérieur du corps de pompe et la buse;
- - pompe caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un second clapet antiretour non gravimétrique, d'admission par une dérivation entre le premier clapet et le clapet gravimétrique, s'ouvrant en réponse à une dépression aval, le téton tubulaire étant percé d'une lumière radiale de dérivation, faisant communiquer l'intérieur du récipient avec l'intérieur du téton, autour d'un chapeau tronconique ouvert dont l'extrémité de la paroi extérieure vient en appui élastique contre un épaulement annulaire du téton, pour constituer le second clapet antiretour non gravimétrique d'admission en dérivation du tube plongeur.
- Le socle du corps de pompe peut être prolongé axialement vers l'intérieur du corps de pompe par un piston fixe annulaire, coulissant à l'intérieur d'un cylindre mobile solidaire du poussoir.
- Le cylindre peut coulisser librement sur une course limitée à l'intérieur d'un prolongement cylindrique issu du socle.
- Le socle peut être réalisé simplement en forme de plateau annulaire en appui étanche contre la tranche du col du récipient.
- Le socle peut présenter un logement tubulaire axial dans lequel est insérée la base d'un piston tubulaire souple, borgne, dont le fond est découpé pour former une languette en appui élastique sur un épaulement annulaire du fond du logement avec lequel elle constitue le premier clapet antiretour non gravimétrique.
- Dans un mode de réalisation, le piston présente une jupe annulaire élastique en saillie sur sa paroi latérale, qui coopère avec un bourrelet annulaire du socle pour former un troisième clapet antiretour non gravimétrique, d'aération de l'intérieur du récipient par un passage latéral entre le piston et le socle, débouchant à l'intérieur du récipient.
- Dans un mode de réalisation pratique, le clapet gravimétrique d'interdiction d'admission en position retournée est constitué par une bille maintenue dans une cage à bille dont une moitié est constituée par l'extrémité d'un embout tubulaire, inséré dans le téton tubulaire de fixation du tube plongeur, présentant un épaulement de repos de la bille avec un passage en contournement, et dont l'autre moitié est constituée par la base du chapeau tronconique ouvert débouchant axialement en dessous du premier clapet.
- Il est commode que le passage latéral d'aération débouche dans la lumière radiale de dérivation percée dans le téton du socle.
- Dans un autre mode de réalisation avantageux, le clapet anti-retour est constitué par une rondelle élastique biconique en forme de doigt de gant retourné,dont la partie conique retournée interne vient porter élastiquement contre une tige axiale cylindrique issue du fond du cylindre,pour former un clapet non gravimétrique de refoulement entre l'intérieur du corps de pompe et un passage latéral à la tige communiquant avec la buse de distribution.
- L'invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description détaillée qui va suivre et à l'examen des dessins annexés qui représentent, à titre d'exemple non limitatif un mode de réalisation de l'invention.
- Sur ces dessins:
- la figure 1 est une vue schématique, en élévation et en coupe axiale d'une pompe suivant l'invention, en position de repos,
- - la figure 2 est une vue analogue à celle de la figure 1 de la pompe en cours d'aspiration en position verticale normale,
- - la figure 3 est une vue schématique de la même pompe en cours de refoulement en position verticale normale, et
- - la figure 4 est une vue schématique de la même pompe en cours d'aspiration en position verticale retournée.
- Sur ces dessins les mêmes références numériques désignent les parties correspondantes.
- La pompe représentée sur ces figures comprend essentiellement un corps de pompe 1, assujetti par l'intermédiaire d'un joint annulaire d'étanchéité 11 sur le col 13 d'un récipient 14.
- Dans le mode de réalisation représenté le corps est maintenu sur le col du récipient par une capsule en métal malléable 35 qui est sertie en dessous de la carnette du col du flacon. En variante, elle pourrait aussi bien être vissée sur un col à vis.
- Ce corps de pompe 1 comprend un socle 12, prolongé axialement vers l'intérieur du récipient par un téton tubulaire 16,dans lequel est inséré un embout tubulaire 8 à une extrémité duquel est inséré un tube plongeur 3, débouchant au fond du récipient 14 qui renferme la substance 15 à distribuer.
- L'autre extrémité de l'embout tubulaire 8 constitue la partie inférieure d'une cage à bille et présente un épaulement annulaire 28 sur lequel peut venir reposer une bille 26, cependant qu'une fente radiale 29 constitue un passage en détournement autour de la bille 26 pour permettre à la substance 15 de contourner la bille. La partie supérieure de la cage à bille est constituée par un chapeau tronconique 30, en matériau élastique, dont l'extrémité de la paroi extérieure vient en appui élastique contre un épaulement annulaire 31 du téton 16,pour constituer un clapet anti- retour non gravimétrique d'admission de la substance 15, en dérivation du tube plongeur 3 par une lumière radiale 10 de dérivation percée dans le téton 16 du socle 12, lorsque le récipient est retourné.
- Le socle 12 est prolongé axialement à l'opposé du téton 16,portant le tube plongeur et la cage à bille, par un logement tubulaire axial 19 dans lequel est insérée la base du piston tubulaire souple et borgne 4 dont le fond est découpé pour former une languette 21, qui vient en appui élastique sur un épaulement annulaire 22 du fond du logement 19 avec lequel elle constitue un clapet antiretour non gravimétrique, qui autorise l'entrée de la substance à distribuer en provenance du tube plongeur en position normale, et en provenance du canal de dérivation 10 en position retournée, sous contrôle de la lèvre du chapeau tronconique 30, qui s'incurve élastiquement de son siège constitué par l'épaulement 31 sous l'effet de l'aspiration.
- Par contre, lors de la compression (figure 3), la languette 21 porte en appui étanche contre l'épaulement 22 pour interdire tout refoulement de ce côté de la substance préalablement aspirée dans le corps de pompe.
- Le piston 4 présente également une jupe annulaire 23, en saillie sur sa paroi latérale,qui porte élastiquement sur un bourrelet annulaire 24 du socle 12 pour former un clapet antiretour non gravimétrique, qui permet l'aération de l'intérieur du récipient lorsqu'une dépression s'y manifeste, par entrée d'air extérieur dans un passage formé par une rainure radiale 25 creusée dans le socle 12 qui débouche, d'une part dans l'espace entre la jupe 23 du piston et le bourrelet 24, et d'autre part dans le conduit radial 10 du téton tubulaire portant le tube plongeur.
- Le piston 4, fixe, coulisse à l'intérieur d'un cylindre 2 mobile, solidaire d'un poussoir manuel 5 à l'intérieur d'un prolongement cylindrique 18 issu du socle 12.
- La course du cylindre 2 est limitée par un épaulement annulaire 36 de l'extrémité du prolongement cylindrique 18, contre lequel vient porter un épaulement extérieur 37 du cylindre 2.
- Dans le mode de réalisation représenté, le socle 2 est inséré élastiquement dans le prolongement cylindrique 18 dans lequel il vient s'encliqueter, et l'assemblage est affermi par une cheminée 38 prolongeant la capsule 35.
- Le fond du cylindre 2 est prolongé par un embout tubulaire 39 qui vient s'insérer de façon étanche à l'intérieur du poussoir 5, en communication avec un conduit radial 40 débouchant dans une buse de pulvérisation classique 6, à effet tourbillonnaire dans le mode de réalisation représenté.
- En variante, la buse peut être remplacée par un simple ajutage.
- L'embout tubulaire 39 communique avec l'intérieur du cylindre 2 par un conduit désaxé 34,parallèle à une tige axiale 33 faisant saillie à l'intérieur du cylindre 2. Une rondelle élastique 7 biconique,en forme de doigt de gant retourné ,repose contre le fond du cylindre 2 contre lequel elle est appuyée par un ressort 17 prenant, par ailleurs, appui sur le fond du piston 4 pour solliciter en permanence le cylindre 2 à l'opposé du piston 4.
- La partie conique retournée interne 32 de la rondelle 7 porte élastiquement autour de la tige 33, formant ainsi un clapet non gravimétrique de refoulement qui autorise le passage de la substance lors du refoulement vers la buse 6 par le passage 34, l'embout 39 et le canal 40, mais interdit toute entrée d'air lors de l'aspiration.
- Ainsi, grâce à la combinaison de clapets gravimétrique et non gravimétrique, la pompe suivant l'invention peut fonctionner efficacement en, pratiquement, toutes positions, à condition que l'extrémité du tube plongeur 3, ou le passage radial 10, soit immergé dans la substance à distribuer.
- L'invention permet d'obtenir une efficacité de fonctionnement maximum sur pratiquement 360°, contrairement aux autres systèmes connus, notamment grâce à la disposition des organes moteurs au-dessus du col du récipient, et au logement des organes d'inversion au voisinage immédiat des organes moteurs, dans la carnette du récipient, ce qui réduit au maximum, en position horizontale, le volume annulaire de produit à distribuer entre l'intérieur du col du récipient et le téton tubulaire de la pompe.
