Abstract

1. A vehicle for conveying persons, in particular a tramcar or omnibus, having a floor (3) of a passenger area (4), the floor being accessible via doors (1) and usually multi-step entrances (2), in which vehicle a platform (5) of a passenger compartment (6) provided for conveying handicapped passengers is arranged behind at least one door (1a) and is at a lower level than the floor (3) of the passenger area (4) and can be reached without steps, characterised in that the platform (5) of the passenger compartment (6) is pivotable downwards about an axis of rotation (5b) extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
