Description

The present invention relates to a support system for facade cladding elements, in particular folded sheet metal boxes, comprising a plurality of parallel sections.

The most commonly used method at present when it comes to making such a facade cladding consists of manufacturing vertical profiles in the factory which are then fixed on stirrups placed along the facade. As it is necessary to provide for a possibility of three-dimensional adjustment of the positioning of the profiles (in particular in renovation operations where the facade has an irregular surface) these stirrups are formed from a series of brackets produced and assembled using a mechanical technique. welded with passage of bolts through oblong holes to allow the desired adjustment. The profiles are then drilled horizontally and provided with bolted horizontal axes. These horizontal axes will then suspend the folded sheet panels which carry notched notches on vertical returns at locations corresponding to the attachment axes.

The implementation of this conventional process is however cumbersome and expensive because of the numerous drilling, cutting, shaping, etc. operations required, each frame being made to measure according to the needs of the site.

As described in documents LU-A-80 537 (corresponding to the preamble of claim 1), DE-A-2850167 and FR-A-2 303 906 (preamble to rev. 16), attempts have been made to Eliminate these drawbacks by proposing support systems for facade cladding elements, the fixing of which is carried out by bolting and not by mechanical welding.

However, the support systems described and represented in the aforementioned documents are not entirely satisfactory. These systems can only be used in special installation cases, are expensive, unreliable and complex to install requiring specialized personnel. Finally, these devices are ill-suited to allow a three-dimensional adjustment of the support means of the facade cladding elements making it possible to correct in particular faults in the facade.

The present invention aims to eliminate all of these drawbacks.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a support system for facade cladding elements which can be the subject of numerous adaptations, that is to say which allows, on site, a installer having a limited stock of parts, to adapt the assembly of elements involved in the support system according to the present invention, to the structure and arrangement of the facade to be coated with said cladding elements.

To allow engagement of the locking pieces on the support profiles, without imposing a sliding of the locking pieces along said profiles, preferably each locking piece comprises an elongated plate in the general shape of a parallelogram secured to a threaded rod engaged in an associated connecting piece and the smallest width of which is slightly less than the opening width of a groove with converging edges provided on the profiles.

More precisely still, each blocking piece preferably comprises an elongated plate whose sides are parallel two by two and delimit two opposite acute angles and two opposite obtuse angles which are rounded according to a radius of curvature equal to half of the great height of the plaque.

This great height of the plate of the blocking piece is advantageously substantially equal to the internal width of the groove with converging edges intended to receive the blocking piece.

To further strengthen the assembly of the support system, each connecting piece may advantageously be provided, on its adjacent face with the second branch of the anchoring pieces, hooking projections extending perpendicular to said second direction of adjustment.

According to an assembly method currently considered preferential, in the case of the present invention, the profiles are vertical, the first adjustment direction is horizontal and parallel to the facade, the second adjustment direction is horizontal and perpendicular to the facade and the third adjustment direction is vertical.

We will first describe the structure of the anchoring parts 100 shown in the accompanying figures.

Each anchoring piece 100 has the general shape of a square with two branches 110, 150 substantially orthogonal.

Each of the branches 110, 150 is generally flat and preferably vertical in use.

The first branch 110, in use, rests against the facade F. This first branch 110 is provided with at least one oblong orifice 112 extending in the direction of elongation of the first branch.

This oblong hole 112 is intended to receive a screw 120 engaging in a dowel 124 anchored in the facade, with the interposition of a washer 122 to fix each anchoring piece 100 on the facade F.

I.Those skilled in the art will readily understand that the oblong orifice 112 allows, during installation, an adjustment between each anchoring piece 100 and the facade F in a first direction parallel to the facade and corresponding to the direction of elongation of the oblong orifice 112, shown diagrammatically in the figures by the arrow referenced I.

La seconde branche 150 des pièces d'ancrage 100 s'étend perpendiculairement à la façade F. Cette seconde branche 150 est munie d'au moins un orifice oblong 152 s'étendant dans la direction d'élongation de la seconde branche 150, c'est-à-dire perpendiculairement à la façade F.The second branch 150 of the anchoring pieces 100 extends perpendicular to the facade F. This second branch 150 is provided with at least one oblong orifice 152 extending in the direction of elongation of the second branch 150, c ' that is to say perpendicular to the facade F.

There is shown in Figure 1 an anchor 100 which has in its second branch 150 a single oblong orifice 152.

The oblong bores 152 are intended to receive second fixing means making it possible to assemble an intermediate connecting piece 200 on the second branch 150 of each anchoring piece 100.

Preferably, as illustrated in the appended figures, the second fixing means are formed by a screw 160-nut system 164, with washer 162 interposed.

Those skilled in the art will readily understand that the oblong bores 152 allow adjustment between the anchoring pieces 100 and the intermediate connecting pieces 200 in a second direction orthogonal to the first I and orthogonal to the facade F, shown diagrammatically on the figures by the arrow referenced II.

Where appropriate, as shown in the figures, the second branch 150 of the anchoring parts 100 is provided, on at least one of its main faces, if necessary on both, with projections 154 parallel and perpendicular to said second direction II.

These projections 154 make it possible to reinforce the reliability of the assembly between the intermediate connecting parts 200 and the anchoring parts 100.

We will now describe the structure of the intermediate connecting pieces 200 shown in the figures.

These intermediate connecting pieces 200 can be the subject of different variant embodiments.

A first alternative embodiment of these intermediate connecting pieces 200 is illustrated in Figure 2 attached.

According to this illustration, the intermediate connecting piece. 200 has the general shape of a square with two orthogonal wings 210, 230. The wings ' 210, 230 are generally flat and vertical in use.

La première aile 210 des pièces de liaison intermédiaire 200 est destinée à reposer contre la seconde branche des pièces d'ancrage 110.The first wing 210 of the intermediate connecting pieces 200 is intended to rest against the second branch of the anchoring pieces 110.

The first wing 210 is provided with at least one orifice 212 intended to receive the aforementioned second fixing means for ensuring the assembly of the intermediate connecting pieces 200 on the anchoring pieces 100.

If necessary, the orifice 212 can be oblong. In addition, the first wing 210 can be provided with a plurality of orifices 212.

Preferably, the first wing 210 is provided on its main face resting against the second branch 150 of the anchoring parts 100 with hooking projections 214 extending parallel to the fold defined between the two wings 210, 230, that is ie perpendicular to the second direction of adjustment referenced II in the figures.

The second wing 230 extends parallel to the front F, in use. This second wing 230 is adapted to support the locking pieces 400.

Pour ce faire, de préférence, la seconde aile 230 est munie d'un alésage traversant 232 destiné à recevoir une vis 430 des moyens de blocage 400.To do this, preferably, the second wing 230 is provided with a through bore 232 intended to receive a screw 430 of the locking means 400.

In addition, preferably, the second wing 230 is provided on the main face facing the profiles 300 with two parallel ribs 234, 236 intended to support the profiles 300, and the spacing of which is for this purpose, equal to the size exterior of homologous longitudinal structures provided on the profiles 300.

Comme on l'a évoqué précédemment, l'assemblage des pièces de liaison intermédiaire 200 sur les pièces d'ancrage 100 est de préférence réalisé à l'aide de systèmes vis-écrou 160-164.As mentioned above, the assembly of the intermediate connecting pieces 200 on the anchoring pieces 100 is preferably carried out using screw-nut systems 160-164.

A second alternative embodiment of the intermediate connecting pieces 200 is illustrated in the attached FIG. 5.

According to this second variant embodiment, each intermediate connecting piece 200 ′ is formed of a generally planar body 250 which rests in use against a main surface of the second branch 150 of the anchoring pieces 100.

De ce fait, à l'utilisation, le corps plan 250 des pièces de liaison intermédiaire 200' s'étend généralement perpendiculairement à la façade F.Therefore, in use, the planar body 250 of the intermediate connecting pieces 200 ′ generally extends perpendicular to the facade F.

According to this second alternative embodiment, the means provided on the planar body 250 for ensuring the assembly of the intermediate connecting pieces 200 ′ on the second branch 150 of the anchoring pieces, also serve to support the locking pieces 400.

According to the illustration in FIG. 5, these means comprise a bore 252 passing through the planar body 250 and intended to receive the screw 430 of the locking means 400, cooperating with the nut 164 mentioned above, and also engaged in. the oblong bore 152 of the anchoring parts 100.

On examination of FIG. 5, on the main face of the intermediate connecting pieces 200 ′ directed towards the profiles 300, we can see two parallel ribs 254, 256 homologous to the ribs 234 and 236 mentioned above.

We will now describe the structure of the support profiles 300 shown in the accompanying figures.

These support profiles 300 comprise 3 perpendicular webs two by two referenced 302, 304 and 306.

In addition, two adjacent webs 302, 304 are provided on their outer surface with grooves with converging edges 314, 320 formed of ribs 316, 318 on the one hand, and 322, 324 on the other.

We will now describe the structure of the locking pieces 400 shown in the accompanying figures.

These blocking pieces 400 are adapted to be introduced into one of the grooves 314, 320 with the aforementioned converging edges, at any location of the profiles 300, without necessarily having to be engaged at the end of the profile and moved by sliding along this one.

For this, each locking piece 400 comprises an elongated plate 410 in the general shape of a parallelogram, secured to a threaded rod 430 which is generally perpendicular thereto, the smallest width of the plate 410, referenced 1 in FIG. 3B, being slightly less than the opening width, referenced L in the figures, of a groove with converging edges 314, 320 provided on the profiles 300.

More precisely still, preferably, as shown in the appended FIG. 3B, each blocking piece comprises an elongated plate 410 whose sides 412, 414, 416 and 418 are parallel in pairs and delimit two opposite acute angles 420, 422 and two obtuse opposite angles 424, 426, which are rounded according to a radius of curvature equal to at most half of the great height of the plate referenced H in FIG. 3B; while this great height H of the plate 410 is substantially equal to the internal width L ; each groove with converging edges 314, 320 intended to receive the blocking piece.

Those skilled in the art will readily understand that, in order to immobilize a blocking piece 400 on a profile 300, it suffices (1) to present an elongated plate 410 facing a groove with converging edges 314, 320, the edges longitudinal 412, 414 of this plate extending parallel to the ribs 316, 318 or 322, 324 (2) to push the plate 410 inside the groove with associated converging edges then (3) to pivot the plate 410 around of the axis of the screw 430 which is transverse thereto for carrying the transverse edges 416, 418 bearing against the internal surfaces of the ribs 316, 318 or 322, 324.

Dans cette position, chaque plaque 410 est retenue fermement à l'intérieur de la rainure à bords convergents associée 314, 320.In this position, each plate 410 is firmly retained inside the associated converging edge groove 314, 320.

We will now describe the structure of the support flanges (500) illustrated in the appended figures.

According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 4 appended, each support flange 500 comprises a body 510 adapted to be housed in the cavity 308 of the profiles and provided with a tapped bore 512 receiving a screw 530 making it possible to immobilize the flange 500 on a profile 300 in an adjustable position in the direction of elongation of the profiles.

A l'utilisation, le corps 510 s'étend transversalement à la direction d'élongation des profilés 300 et parallèlement au voile 304 formant le fond de la cavité 308.In use, the body 510 extends transversely to the direction of elongation of the sections 300 and parallel to the web 304 forming the bottom of the cavity 308.

L'alésage taraudé 512 s'étend perpendiculairement à ce voile 304.The threaded bore 512 extends perpendicular to this web 304.

De préférence, l'extrémité 532 de la vis 530, qui vient en appui contre le voile 304 précité a la forme d'un pointeau conique de telle sorte qu'au cours du serrage de la vis 530 la pointe 532 s'enfonce dans une rainure à bords convergents 326 prévue sur la surface interne du voile 304.Preferably, the end 532 of the screw 530, which bears against the aforementioned web 304 has the shape of a conical needle so that at during the tightening of the screw 530, the point 532 is inserted into a groove with converging edges 326 provided on the internal surface of the web 304.

More specifically, according to the embodiment shown in the figures, the body 510 of the support flanges 500 has a cross section in the general shape of a T, provided at the free edges of the transverse wing of the T with generally cylindrical envelope beads , 514, 516.

These beads 514, 516 extend transversely to the longitudinal direction of the sections 300. The beads 514, 516 are intended to engage in notches 602 formed in the covering elements 600.

If necessary, a single cylindrical bead 514 can be provided on the support flanges 500.

It will also be noted on examining the figures of the slots 518, 520, 522 and 524 formed in the cylindrical beads 514, 516 to allow the passage of the ribs 310 and 312.

We will now describe the structure of the covering elements made up of folded sheet metal boxes shown in the figures.

These boxes 600 are formed from flat sheet 604 vertical in use, the edges of which are folded to form on the one hand, along the vertical edges, lateral returns 606, on the other hand along the horizontal edges of the horizontal returns 608, with vertical edge 610.

The aforementioned notches 602 are formed in the vertical lateral returns 606.

Ces encoches 602 ont de préférence la forme générale d'un c débouchant au niveau du bord libre du retour 606.These notches 602 preferably have the general shape of a c opening at the free edge of the return 606.

The width of the lateral returns 606 is greater than the width of the horizontal returns 608 so that the returns 606 penetrate inside the cavity 308 of the profiles 300, while the vertical flange 610 comes to bear against the front face of the profiles 300.

There is shown in Figure 9 attached, different cases of installation of anchor pieces 100, intermediate connecting pieces 200 and locking pieces 400 above.

As it appears on examining FIG. 9, the locking means 400 can cooperate either with the groove with converging edges 314, or with the groove with converging edges 320.

The intermediate connecting piece 200 interposed between the anchoring pieces 100 and the profiles 300 can either be in accordance with the embodiment shown in FIG. 2 or in accordance with the embodiment shown in FIG. 5.

The support system according to the present invention makes it possible to support facade cladding elements facing the planar facade, facing the facade having outgoing angles, or even facing the facade having incoming angles.

It will also be noted on examining FIG. 10 that the support flanges 500 can be fixed either in the lower part or in the upper part of the notches 602 formed in the boxes 600.

Examination of Figures 6 to 10 shows that the elements of the support system according to the present invention can be arranged in a large number of variants, which allows with a limited number of parts and little stock to meet all the conditions of required on site.
