The invention relates to a bundling system for elongated objects, which has a plurality of bundling stations which are spaced apart from one another in the horizontal direction, each bundling station having an endless belt member which can be driven by a motor and guided around deflection rollers and which delimits the lower filling area of each bundling station, and furthermore two which are pivotably mounted over the upper filling area Roles exist.
A problem with wooden slats, which are produced in large quantities, is to bind a large number of them together in a compact bundle for shipping. This causes a lot of manual work, even when using binding machines.
From DE-A-2 251 208 a bundling device according to the preamble of claim 1 is known, which is used for bundling relatively heavy, metallic pipes, rolled pieces or rods with an annular cross-section. These are held in the interior by freely suspended, endless chains. By moving the chains, a compact bundle is formed, which is then lowered onto a roller table and guided over it.
Diese Vorrichtung dient nicht zur Bündelung länglicher Gegenstände.DE-A-1 528 012 shows a device for feeding sawn timber to a saw. The log to be sawed rests on a block wagon and a front frame wagon, which are interconnected by articulated links. This device is not used to bundle elongated objects.
A 1358472 shows a system with two levers which can be pivoted relative to one another and a loop which is looped around the objects to be bundled. The sling is tensioned by hydraulic cylinders. Since the loop is not all-round, the objects to be bundled are not shaken into a compact form.
The object of the invention is to create a bundling system with which elongated objects, in particular wooden slats, of different cross-sectional shapes can be formed into compact bundles, largely avoiding manual labor, so that tight-fitting tapes can subsequently be folded over. This object is achieved in that the pivotably mounted rollers are seated at the end of at least one pivotable lever, which is provided with drive means around an axis, and that each bundling station has rollers arranged in a ring-like manner in its lower region, against which the belt-shaped wrapping member during the inward-pivoting movement the or the lever comes to rest, the belt is guided around a pulley looped underneath the wreath-like rollers and the bundling stations can be moved together by a first feed element relative to a stationary, horizontal frame and second motor-driven feed elements are available with which the on a Carriage or carriage seated one bundling station can be moved horizontally against the other bundling station.
This allows elongated objects such as strips or the like to be quickly formed into a compact bundle, regardless of the cross-sectional shape of the individual strips and their number. The folded straps sit tight, so that there is no risk that individual strips can slip out during the subsequent transport and the entire waistband will fall apart.

The bundling system is used for the compact formation of a bundle of elongated loose strips, in particular wooden strips, which can also have different cross-sectional shapes within the bundle, and which are subsequently wrapped at several points and thus held together for transport.
The system contains at least two
A plurality of strips are loosely placed in these
After one end of the bundle 4 through Feed of the
In addition to wooden strips, this bundling system can also be used for other elongated objects, for example pipes, light metal profile rails, plastic rods or the like.
